Rhadamanthus nodded. "Rhadamanthus Amory, family traitor and suspect to murder," He said with a slight bow.
Riot stood outside the alleyway listening. "Grandmaster of the Assassin's of Hyrule and an heiress to the throne of Shinjuku... And what's more, they are helping the traitor." He thought. "Lord Bastion is in over his head, but I have my orders... I must serve House Amory."
Riot entered the alleyway, his sword in one hand, and a loaded crossbow in the other. "Lady Ryoka, Maestro Wolffang, I must ask that you hand over the traitor." He said in a cold voice. He knew that he couldn't kill Torak. Rhadamanthus and Sensaki would be difficult on their own, let alone together. But he had no choice. He aimed the crossbow at Torak as he waited for a response.

"So it was you who shot at me." Sensaki said calmly, steeping slightly in front of the others as she turned around. "You could have taken my ear off, and then how could I return my family?" She said, raising her voice as she spoke. "Still , you're a good shot, especially with a crossbow. There aren't many like you in Shinjuku. Come with us, and you'll be rewarded greatly."

Riot's hesitation was obvious by the look on his face. He fell silent, and for a moment the only sound was that of the pouring rain. Then the servant of the Amory family lifted his sword to his face. He pressed the cold, wet steel to his cheek, to the brand of the Amory Crest. "I am a servant of House Amory. There is no higher honor. I would die for my lords. And I will kill for them!" Riot discarded the crossbow and held the blade in a fighting stance.
Bastion walked through the marketplace, browsing the stands as if he meant to buy. He was accompanied by a young woman with wild auburn hair and blue eyes and a man with black eyes like smoldering coals and blond hair. The blond man held an umbrella over Bastion's head. Bastion was speaking casually, as if he were merely discussing the prices of the merchandise with his servants. "Riot will waver, I've no doubt of it. It won't be long before he joins the traitor."
"Of course, milord. Riot is as weak in conviction as he is physically strong." The woman replied flatly. Her icy blue eyes seemed clouded over with anger.
"Exactly," Bastion replied, "Which is why I have made this decision." He picked up an apple and inspected it for imperfections. "Lascivia, tail them and keep track of Rhadamanthus, but do not attack them."
The woman nodded. "As you wish, milord." Her eyes suddenly brightened in a dark sort of way.
Bastion selected a single apple and held it out to the blond man. "And Odd will awaken Sable." He said, a slight smirk on his face.
Both servants stared at Bastion in shock. "Sable?!" Lascivia asked incredulously. "But, sir-"
"Quiet!" Bastion snapped, silencing his servant instantly. "I didn't asked for your opinions. I am giving orders, not options."
Odd smiled suddenly. "For you, my gracious lord," he said, accepting the apple from Bastion. "And may I commend you for such a wise decision."
Bastion scoffed, "I have need of servants, not sycophants. Give compliments where they are due but not when they are excessive," He said harshly. "If you wish to replace Riot, as is obviously your desire, then prove to me you are worthy through actions, not idle comments."
"Yes, milord. I apologize," the man said, hanging his head in shame.
"As do I," the woman added, though she obviously did not mean it.
Bastion took the umbrella from Odd and waved them away. "Then you are both dismissed. Go, and see that my will is done."
"I am sorry, Lord Amory, Lady Ryoka, and Maestro Wolffang," Riot said, stating each of their names out of respect. "But I must decline your offer, generous as it was." He secured his footing and charged at the trio in front of him. With each step, he gained speed and raised his sword slightly. By the time he reached Sensaki, the blade was over his head. With cold determination burning in his green eyes, Riot slashed down at Sensaki.

Torak watched silently as Sensaki offered Riot a position on their team. He could feel it in his bones that Riot would not betray whoever his master was so easily and watched as Riot charged at them, waiting for the right moment, he shoved Sensaki out of the way and his right Hidden Blade shot forth and deflected Riot's sword out of it's path.
"Sensaki, take our friend. I trust you know where to go... I'll meet up with you shortly." Torak calmly said to the olive skinned woman as he sheathed his Hidden Blade and pulled his own sword out of it's scabberd with his now free right hand.
The Master Assassin raised his blade for a moment before striking swiftly at Riot's side. He didn't want to kill Riot, he wanted to test the young one's skills with a blade. Sensaki obviously saw his talent with that crossbow of his... the Carnavorian wanted to test his sword arm. Zanzabar could sense his partner's intentions.
"I hope you know what you're doing, pup."the familiar low growl rang through Torak's head.

Sensaki nodded and grabbed Rhadamanthus by the arm, pulling him along the alleyway. "Try not to do that thing where you stick out like a sore thumb." She advised as they reached the other end of the alley. She took a left and headed for a nearby trading post. She slowed when she reached the door, still holding his arm. She pushed it open as if she were shopping there. They approached the counter quickly, paying no heed to the others inside the store. "I'm sorry, sir. You just don't have what I came here for." She said.
"Perhaps you'd like to check the cellar." The shopkeeper responded.
"That would be helpful, thank you." The shopkeeper led them to the kitchen, lighting a torch in the fire before proceeding through the cellar door. They went down the stairs into a room full of crates and barrels filled with supplies for the shop above. The shopkeeper walked over to a barrel in one of the far corners. It was as high as his stomach twice as wide as his waist. He set the torch in a sconce and turned to them.
"Alright, 'ow'd you find this place?" He asked.
"Torak sent us." Sensaki replied.
"Not good enough, everyone knows that name."
"I'm Blade's stepsister, Sensaki."
"Aye, 'e's mentioned you. What about 'im?"
"He's a," Sensaki hesitated, calling Rhadamanthus a friend at this point would be quite the stretch. "Charge. Torak and I agreed to hide him."
"Alright, then, stand back." The shopkeeper turned around and grasped the barrel with both hands. He lifted it easily, indicating its emptiness. He set it aside, revealing a trap door. He unlatched and opened it, motioning them through as he lit another torch. This one he handed to Rhadamanthus.
"Torak should be here shortly." Sensaki mentioned. The shopkeeper did not respond. Sensaki went in last, and closed the trap door behind them. In the light of the torch, one could see a table surrounded by several chairs, a green rug underneath them. Pushed up on the left was a single bed, the forward wall had a fireplace, which Rhadamanthus lit, and the other walls had cupboards and desks pushed up against them.
"Now we wait." Sensaki said, taking one of the chairs.

Riot jumped back as Torak swiped at his side. Rhadamanthus and Sensaki escaped the alley, but he knew he could not worry about that now. He had to focus on the assassin first. He knew others would come for them anyway. He stared into Torak's eyes with hardened determination. He knew he there was no way he could win, but if he could hold off the assassin long enough, maybe the others could capture Rhadamanthus. In his mind, there was no more honorable way to die then fighting for the honor of the Amory family. And if that meant dying by the blade of the most infamous assassin in the land, it was hardly the worst fate he could face. He lunged forward, stabbing his blade at Torak's gut.
Rhadamanthus put the torch in an empty bracket on the wall and sat down in a chair at the table. He laced his fingers together like a basket on top of the table, his left thumb twitched nervously. He stared into the fire for a while, silent and thoughtful. "So, you mentioned a step-brother named Blade. Is he an assassin?" He asked to pass the time.
Lascivia put down the random trinket she had been pretending to examine and walked over to the shopkeeper. She glared at him with her icy blue eyes under heavy lashes. "The woman and man you just escorted into the cellar. Take me to them." She demanded in a stern, but not forceful, voice.
Odd walked down the stone steps beneath Amory Manor. A flaming torch in his hand desperately tried to pierce the veil of darkness, but to no avail. Its light surrounded Odd in a yellow-orange sphere. He clutched the apple Bastion had given him in his other hand. He was trembling violently. Somewhere in the shadows, the tinkling sound of bells drifted through the cavernous room. In the darkness below, something moved. It shot through the shadows like an insect, scuttling up the side of the stairs next to the man. Odd's eyes snapped shut, for fear of that which dwelt in the shadows. He held out the apple with a shaking hand. The offering was snatched from his hand instantly, and moments later a crunching sound joined the bells. "Sable, Lord Bastion requires your services. He offers you this apple and a day with Lady Delilah in payment."
Sable continued to munch on the apple for a while before it finally answered. A feminine voice rang out. "Bastion needs Sable's help does he? 'Course he does... Does she get to kill someone?"
"Anyone who guards your target." He answered, eyes still closed.
Sable fell silent for a while. "And precious time with the Beloved? Who is her target?"
"Rhadamanthus Amory,"
Sable squealed with delight. "Sable can kill the Sinner! How long has she waited to see those eyes of his clouded with the agony of his death!" She laughed madly.
Odd backed away slowly. "N-no! Sable, Lord Bastion said to captured Rhadamanthus! You can't kill him!"
Sable stopped laughing suddenly. "Not allowed to bring the Sinner to justice... But to catch him means to see the Beloved. She has no choice." Sable shot up the stairs, the sound of bells following her.
"Wait! Sable!" Odd called, chasing her up the stairs. "You don't even know where he is!"

"Yes. He's Torak's second in command. He is my brother not by marriage, but by adoption." She explained.
"Going down there would be like signing your own death warrant." The shopkeeper said with more than a slight hint of disdain, wiping his fingernails on his shirt with a bored look on his face. "I'm not going to bother explaining what would happen if you forced your way down there either, so take that pretty arse of yours and leave."

Torak internally grinned as he saw the determination in Riot's eyes. It was a look he had not seen in years... he had seen some close to it. But... this one had the spirit of the fighter in him. The Master Assassin managed to side step the blade aimed at his gut and he manuvered to Riot's side.
"Your skills are impressive, amico." Torak commented as he slashed his blade at his foe once more, aiming for his legs.
His free hand moved back and the Hidden Blade popped out once more. Torak had to end this quickly and get back to Sensaki and Rhadamanthus.

Rhadamanthus nodded but did not respond, he continued to stare into the fire. He wondered if Torak and Riot were still fighting. Riot and him had never been close, but it was still hard for him to imagine the man dead. But he knew that things had changed, Riot was on Bastion's side. And therefore he had to be eliminated.
Lascivia smiled at the shopkeeper, "What a brave man you are... But I have no time to waste negotiating with you," she said, dismissively. "If you let me see him you'll avert a disaster, trust me. Somebody else is coming for him, and if she enters this building, nobody will walk out alive. We can draw her away, but you have to take me to him."
Riot couldn't help but smile when Torak complimented his skills. Of all people, he suspected Torak was not one too freely throw around praise. Maybe those years of constant training had not been wasted, as the others so frequently told him. He remembered Sensaki's comment on his skills with a crossbow. Really, this was the first time anybody had complimented his skills. He jumped over Torak sword with confident agility, but he did not see the hidden blade until it too late. His eyes widened in shock and his smile faded. The faint sound of bells reached his ears.

The shopkeeper's eyes narrowed. He could tell that Lascivia was telling the truth, but he didn't want to risk letting her down into the safe room.
"Compromise." He said. He reached under the counter and pulled out a belt. "I go down there and retrieve my guests while you tie your 'ands with this."

The bells rang as Torak's hidden blade met with Riot's neck, his jumping was expected... but Torak's aim was slightly off and he missed the jugular.
"No matter... he will still bleed to death." Torak thought as he lowered Riot to the ground.
"You fought well, amico. Now... rest in peace." Torak whispered, pulling the blade out and it returned to it's hiding place.
The Master Assassin stood back up and put his sword back into it's scabbard. He bowed his head once and ran into the alleyway and towards the trading post. He met few people and those few moved out of his way knowing full well who he was. Torak pushed the door open and watched as the shopkeeper pulled out a belt and told a woman who stood there to tie her hands while he retrieved his 'guests'.

Riot's sword clattered to the ground. His dull eyes stared at the cloudy sky above him. His hand slowly moved to his pocket. He did not want to take this path. The fear of death had allowed him to think what he truly thought. But he had taken this path, denied his only way out. Now he had to see it through the rest of the way. He pulled the marble sized bomb from his pocket. His movements were difficult and painful. Darkness slowly encroached upon his vision. His arm fell, and the bomb rolled across the cobblestone. His fingers desperately reached for it in vain. The sound of bells was suddenly above him.
Sable's black lips curled into a wicked smile. Her uneven black hair was matted and filthy. A long scar ran horizontally across her permanently closed eyes. Her cheeks were gaunt, making her cheekbones seem unnaturally pronounced. Her long fingernails were sharpened into razor sharp points, painted black, and dipped in poison. Her teeth were filed into deadly points as well, and were surprisingly strong. Her body was wrapped in strips of black velvet. Countless sashes effectively mummified her. Only her face, hands, elbows, knees, and feet were bare. She used no shoes, walking instead with bare feet on the painful cobblestone. Matching stiletto daggers hung from her waist by another sash, one on either side. At the end of each sash, and hanging from the pommels of her stilettos, were little silver bells that rang every time she moved.
"Riot goes to the true darkness on his own... How sad, Sable wanted to be his shepherd." Sable said, stooping to retrieve the bomb. She lit it with a match from Odd, then dropped it into Riot's open mouth. Blood splattered the alley with a tiny pop. The small explosion ripped Riot's face apart. His teeth were shattered and thrown from the mouth like shrapnel. His cheeks were shredded by the blast, leaving no trace of his brand. His jaw unhinged and hung open wider than a human mouth should.
Odd watched this from the street, horrified. But he knew it had to be done. Still though, there were nicer ways to remove the brand. Sometimes he wondered if Lord Bastion preferred it this way as a kind of punishment. 'Fail me and I'll blow up your corpse's face.' That sounded about right. The sound of a scream tore Odd away from his thoughts. He spun around to see a woman standing in the alley, her mouth open and her eyes wide in terrible shock. The sound of bells filled the air. Sable shot through the alleyway faster than any of them could move. Blood sprayed across the walls as Sable ruthlessly stabbed the woman in the neck and face repeatedly, mutilating her good looks.
Lascivia took the belt from the shopkeeper. She fastened it around her own wrist and waited impatiently.
Sable ripped her stilettos out of the bloody meat that was once the woman's face, and let the corpse drop. Suddenly, she spun to face Odd, swinging one of her many sashes at him. The sash never touched him, but a cloud of silvery dust hit his face. The dust coated his eyes, causing him to snap them shut. His eyelids ground the dust into the surface of his eyeballs. He screamed in agony and blood poured from his closed eyelids like crimson tears. He forced his eyes open and saw only only black. His eyes were a bloody mess, not even recognizable as eyes anymore. He fell against the wall screaming and sobbing in both pain and fear.
"Odd was supposed to watch for witnesses, wasn't Odd?! But did Odd?! NO!!!" Sable screeched, stabbing a stiletto into his left arm. "Sable has no choice! Sable has to show Odd the true darkness... Then Sable has to take Odd to it!" She stabbed the other stiletto into his gut. She yanked both daggers out and brought them back to stab again. Before she could, a crossbow bolt ripped through the air in front of Sable's face.
Ayishe stood at the mouth of the alley, holding Riot's discarded crossbow. She slowly rose it and aligned the sight with Sable's face. She pulled the trigger, but Sable was gone before the bolt reached her.
Sable crouched next to Riot's corpse facing Ayishe. She plunged the stiletto blades into Riot's chest in fury. "She smells like the Teacher... She is the Teacher! The evil Teacher who taught the Beloved to love the Sinner. The cruel Teacher who taught the Beloved to forget Sable!" She yowled, raking her blades through his chest, shredding his skin.
"Is that you? Sable?!" Ayishe stared in shock at the grotesque creature before her. "I taught you to fight without your eyes so that you could protect Delilah. Not go on rampages of wanton murder." She reprimanded Sable coldly. But Sable did not hear. She was stabbing Riot and screeching in anger. "I suppose I have no choice." The Gerudo muttered. She shot at Sable again, but she moved again. This time, she scaled a wall, crawling quickly up the stone like an insect. Ayishe shot twice before getting her aim perfect at Sable's neck. She reached for another bolt to load into the crossbow, but found nothing, she was out. Ayishe dropped the crossbow and drew one of her scimitars. In a quick display of skillful acrobatics, she reached the roof, only to find no trace of Sable.
Ayishe let herself fall back into the alley. She landed gracefully on her feet and sheathed her scimitar. Odd was still alive, though just barely. His eyes were ruined and he was bleeding out fast. The Gerudo picked him up and threw him over her shoulder. "C'mon let's get you to a doctor."
Bastion sat at a desk in Amory Manor, speaking to another man who stood in front of the desk. They were in an old study. It was a long room lined with bookshelves. It had as many books as a small library. The shelves rose all the way to the ceiling, and there was ladders all about so that they could be reached. A set of double doors was at one end of the room, and a grand window took up the opposite wall. Bastion's desk was backed up against this window, facing the doors. The window overlooked a courtyard surrounded by gardens with a large fountain in the center. "Sable has left to retrieve Rhadamanthus."
"Yes sir," the man replied. He was an elderly man with grey hair and blue eyes. "Can she be trusted not to murder Rhadamanthus?"
"No," Bastion answered casually, putting his hands together and leaning back. "Delilah needs to be moved."
The old man nodded. "Do you wish for me to transport her?"
"Yes, Spires has her at the moment. He has taken a room at the Stock Pot Inn in Termina. Bring her back here."
"It will be done, milord." The old man answered, heading for the door.
"Soft," Bastion called, "Kill Spires as well."
The old man smiled. "I had hoped you would ask me too, sir." Soft bowed and left the room.
At the trading post the faint sound of bells filled the air as the shopkeeper went to retrieve Rhadamanthus. Lascivia's eyes widened with sudden fear. "Hurry your ass up, old man!" She yelled, casting her gaze warily toward the door.

"Quit yer yellin', they're already 'ere." He said as he emerged from the kitchen, Rhadamanthus and Sensaki in tow. "And I a'int that old." Sensaki noted the Amory family insignias on Lascivia's clothing and positioned herself in front of Rhadamanthus. "Relax, will ya? 'Er 'ands are tied." The shopkeeper said. Sensaki relaxed her stance. If this woman had agreed to have her hands bound, she was probably less likely to attack them. She saw Torak standing behind the woman, and had a brief moment of pity for the man who had attacked them. He was really quite skilled. Quickly regaining herself, she turned her attention to Lascivia.
"Why are you here?" She asked.

Lascivia did not answer, she stared straight passed Sensaki at Rhadamanthus. For a moment they seemed to make eyes contact, then they broke off. Lascivia dropped to one knee and bowed her head. "My lord, Rhadamanthus. I have returned to your service." She said.
Rhadamanthus stared for a moment before smiling. "I accept your services with pleasure, Lascivia."
Lascivia returned to her feet and took on her stern demeanor again. "We don't have much time. Sable is coming," Lascivia said, turning her attention back to Sensaki.
"Sable?" Rhadamanthus asked, not bothered by the news. "So we'll run. Or else negotiate with her."
Lascivia shook her head. "No, you don't understand. Sable is different, she isn't the same person you knew all those years ago. Not even close," she said. Her eyes wide with the urgency of her words. "She will kill you and anyone who gets in her way. We have to get out of here."
Rhadamanthus nodded solemnly, "I see, then I suppose we should be going."
That was when they heard the bells jingling in the doorway. The belt hit the floor with a thud, Lascivia turned around and tossed a throwing knife at the door in one fluid motion. The knife spun through the air with a whistling sound just as the door opened.
Sable caught the blade between two fingers. Her black lips parted as her tongue slid out to lick them. "Sable found the Sinner, and a Traitor as well." Though her eyes were closed, it seemed as if she were staring at Rhadamanthus. She stepped inside. By now everyone in the Trading Post was staring at her.
Lascivia took a longbow and stood beside Sensaki, blocking Sable from Rhadamanthus. She notched an arrow in the bow and aimed at Sable. "Lord Rhadamanthus, run!"
Sable started walking forward in slow, deliberate steps. Her bare feet made a padding sound against the wooden floor, and her bells jingled with each step. She threw the throwing knife into the neck of a nearby shopper, who cried out and fell dead. "Sable's gonna catch the Sinner. She's gonna kill the Sinner. No. Sable's going to catch the Sinner. Just catch. Just catch, not kill. Not kill. Not... KILL!!!" Sable shrieked and flew at Torak, her stilettos aimed at his face.
Lascivia released her arrow just before Sable had reached Torak, knocking her backward.
Sable slammed into the ground and tumbled. She scrambled to her feet in seconds. With a little whimper, she yanked the arrow out of her shoulder and dropped it. She shrugged her left shoulder and a sash fell loose.
"Don't let her throw the silver dust in your eyes. You'll be blinded." Lascivia told Torak, aiming for Sable again.
Sable swung the sash at Torak, sending a cloud of silver dust flying at Torak and jumped at him again, her stiletto blades over her head.

Emerging from a nearby alley, a certain individual fixated their bright gaze on the open door with wide, hopeful eyes, long mascaraed lashes blinking in a rapid, near hyperactive manner. Their stomach rumbled, the sound more similar to a roar than any sort of normal human bodily noise. "Food?" inquired the individual. As if in response, their stomach grumbled. "Food," the person agreed.
The individual wasn't without vain. They came to a closed barrel, the lid of the barrel filled all the way with black colored rainwater. They fixed their long, jet colored hair back into place, making sure the elaborate jeweled headpiece, a crown for a queen in ancient times, embedded into their scalp, possibly skull, was straight. They also made sure that the pilfered makeup on their face was perfect, the eyeliner just thick enough on the tops and the bottoms of those large cat-like and almond shaped eyes; with a finger they brushed those thick and long eyelashes even higher, as if they didn't brush against their cheeks already. Indeed, so vain was the individual that they stood on the tips of their velvet and gold slippers, admiring their very shapely and curved body in the reflection, but not so pleased with the wide hips and board shoulders, but very proud of the small waist and ample chest.
The individual continued this for several minutes more, flexing their arm and striking a few poses, admiring the various adornments on them which included a gold and emerald armband on each arm, paper thin gold bangles on the wrists, silver anklets and a large star shaped ruby just under their throat, the tear shaped dangling earrings of golden diamond on their earlobes. The clothes were of Gerudo fashion, but was dark green in color, the pants as thick and long, but the top a fitted dark green, revealing not very much to be desired from the neck down and the navel up.
Bells sounded nearby, but the individual ignored it, instead snarling at the reflection with white perfect teeth, the canines alarmingly and somehow naturally pointed. "Rawr, rawr, rawr. I'm Iona Solas! No, no. Rawr!! I am Iona Solas! Yes! Yesh. Yesth," the individual rehearsed, ending with various lisps, moving their very strikingly beautiful face comically. She drew her jaw out, feinting a massive underbite . "Sha, shasha!" She sighed, breathing in and out. "I got this. I got this. Give me your food!!!" she said, then nodding, finally moving away from the barrel and ran in place, did a few jumping jacks and rolled her shoulders and her neck, popped her fingers.
Snapping out a beat, sparks burst from her fingertips and cascaded outwards. She closed her eyes and let electricity, her secret and beloved talent, slip around her, enhanced by the various sparkling adornments/conductors. She stopped, sang a few scales in different keys and was finally ready.
Attaching her chainblade belt around her hips at a jaunty and pointless angle, Iona Solas was finally ready, watching a strange creature making their way vilely to the open door of her chosen food source in bare, nasty feet. Iona made a face. "We'll let that thing order first. Must be a big eater. But we got this, right, Aetis? I got this, I don't know about you." A gorgeous Eagle Snake slid into the light, dark blues and greens and purples, mainly blacks shining dully as the regal creature viewed the Gerudo with baleful golden eyes. He tasted the air, and cringed, shrinking back.
Moments later, a certain electricity covered and jeweled being appeared in the doorway, wide amber eyes taking in the aforementioned creature attacking a familiar ally with great fascination. Iona then placed her precocious and blank gaze upon a very handsome and more interesting specimen, taking in the long blond hair and light brown eyes with admiring eyes. Time seemed to slow to a crawl. The Eagle Snake on her shoulders, immune to electricity, seemed to take hours to leap into a fighting stance, hissing at the thing that called itself Sable. She didn't even notice the silver colored dust that was flung at her, sparkled and spun in her cloud of electricity then thrown back at Sable with greater force. A rose colored blush grew in her cheeks. "Food?" she asked the nobly dressed young man.
