Garen speared through the jungle to keep up with the others. The run was intense, nothing was static, everything was in motion. Just like he did with the animals before, he used precise maneuvering and quick slices with his sword to fend off the jungle. The way he moved almost seemed like parkour, leaping over logs, rolling around tree trunks, and sliding under vines.
Of course, the wild beasts that roamed the jungle were on the hunt. The small animals, such as snakes, scorpions, and insects, were trampled by Garen's mighty sandal. The larger ones: monkeys, big cats, birds, etc. were shanked in the head or torso by his sword. Garen came up on the two spider monkeys that attempted to incapacitate Argoth. Both of them were still lying on the ground and recovering from their mid-air collision. Garen took advantage and, without stopping, stabbed one of them in the heart and crushed the other's windpipe with his sandal. Both of them died instantaneously and Garen just kept on running (I do not condone or support animal abuse).
Eventually catching up with Argoth, Garen had an idea that he should've thought of when he met the others. It was so damn simple! "Wait a minute, what the hell are we doing?" He asked when they reached a large patch of dirt, vines wouldn't be a problem. He stopped Argoth and Blade, "Who says I can't just cast a portal all they way back to the Assassin's lair and spare us anymore trouble?" He felt like a complete fool.

Ravens lined the trees as a single man walked through the thick underbrush. They were just as foreign to the jungle as the jungle was to the desert. The man himself did not seem at all out of place. His clothes were not well suited for the hot climate. On his back he carried a strange weapon. And his calm demeanor seemed to be completely foreign in this bizarre and violent environment. Yet, he seemed to belong. He possessed an aura that seemed to suggest that everyone and everything else was out of place, but he was just where he should be.
As if in response to his movements, the forest burst into life. Vines coiled around his limbs. Roots lashed at his feet. Countless exotic beast emerged menacingly from seemingly nowhere. The man's left hand reached up for his weapon. Just as his fingers wrapped around the handle, the ravens scattered. In a flutter of wings, the ravens had gone. A rain of black feathers fell all around him, but the man didn't seem to notice. He glance at the first animal with a look of intense ferocity. And the beast died before the last feather touched the ground...
The man ran through a crowd of animals slashing and ripping through them with his serrated blade. A panther pounced upon him, but met only the man's blade. The sword slashed through the cat's tough muscle, leaving a jagged wound gaping across its torso. Another beast came upon him, only to lose its head to a swift slice. A gorilla exploded through trees, snatching him up like a child's doll. Before the ape could decide what to do with the man, the blade was plunged into his eye. Roaring in pain, the creature slammed its former victim down. The man rolled into a swift recovery, and sprang back to his feet instantly. He was back on the gorilla in mere seconds, he ripped the blade back out. The blade's nine teeth ripped the socket to shreds, causing even more pain. The gorilla reared back roaring in agony, and the man capitalized on the momentary advantage. With one swing, his blade tore through the gorilla's throat, releasing a gusher of blood. The ape dropped with a crash, crushing several smaller beasts under its massive body. The man wiped a thick coating of blood from his sword on a massive leaf. The rest of the animals closed in slowly as he did this. Stepping back, he gripped his sword a little tighter. He made a silent decision to end this fight quickly and escape this hellish jungle. For now, he lunged forward just as a serpent did the same. Crimson painted the sky.
Moments later, the man stood in the middle of a gruesome scene, once again cleaning his blade. The green of the forest was stained red by the blood soaking the ground. Many a beast lay on the ground, missing limbs, their insides spilled out in front of them, maimed beyond recognition. The man's attacks were brutal, but efficient. Yet he looked upon the scene with remorse, as if he hadn't wished to slaughter the animals. He said a silent prayer for the fallen animals, bowing his head as he did. A small insect landed upon his cheek as his head was bowed. With a small piercing feeling, it stung him right on on of the three dots tattooed on his cheek. With a swift hand, he caught the little creature. After a short examination he released his little attacker, which flew away to find some new prey. Just as he was about to replace his blade in the baldric that held it, a rustling filled his ears. The rustling grew into crashing, and it grew apparent that someone, or something, was crashing through the wildlife. It was headed straight for him, but then it stopped. They stopped, that is, as he could now tell that it was more than one. He heard voices, and found himself interested. Slipping through the jungle, he discovered three men. They looked to be capable fighters, but he wasn't looking for a fight. He listened as one man spoke of portals. An escape. The man's interest was sparked. He stepped out from behind a tree, sheathing his blade as he did.
"You have the means to leave this place?"

Argoth sliced a monkey from the air as be replied to Garen, "That's a damn good idea, but you better do it quick." Just then a man looking for help walked up to them and Argoth answered his question as well, "Yes, but we're running out of time." The entire jungle seemed to move toward them, every living thing coming at them with vile hatred, "Garen, do it now!" he yelled. There was no time for introductions, they were about to die. Besides, the man didn't look like that much of a threat to them, so he decided to save his ass too.

"Give me one second!" Garen stated. He didn't bother to ask any questions to the newcomer, given their current situation. Luckily for them, Garen had enough training to port to faraway places. However, Garen would be highly fatigued afterward so he couldn't mess up in the portal's creation. He thrust his right hand outward with his palm facing forward. He kept calm and focused his energy. The dark red power could be seen flowing along his arm to his hand. The force collected at his palm in a flat circle shape that expanded outward as the portal energy collected. The gate had grown to the size of Garen himself, maybe slightly larger.
When it came to this point, Garen retracted his arm and snapped his fingers, the portal activated. Immediately, Garen noticed something odd about this one. Normally, when he cast a gate of this caliber, he could see an image of the location chosen, in this case he chose Clock Town. However, this time, no image materialized although he knew he did everything right. Instead, the area inside the gate was filled with spiraling maroon energy. Garen didn't want to waste time complaining about it, as of now, it was their only means of escape. "We're headed to Clock Town," Garen proclaimed. The Jungle shook erratically and vines were baring down on them. "Let's get the hell out of here!" He yelled over the loud rustling of leaves and branches. He hastily ran through the portal and was swallowed up by the power.
He flew out on the other side... six feet off the ground. The momentum that he built up with his dash to the portal carried over through it. He landed with two feet and one hand on the ground to cushion his fall. Garen stood and surveyed the area, he couldn't believe his eyes. He was still in the jungle, albeit a different part of it. Shock and disbelief was clearly characterized on his face. "What the f**."

Argoth burst through the portal hoping to finally be out of that wretched jungle...however when he passed through to the other side all he saw was the greenery of the very jungle he was trying to escape. Argoth echoed Garen's curse after taking a look around; they had only moved to a different part of the forest.

The man didn't bother to listen for an invitation, but he didn't rush in either. He didn't know if these people were going to set him up. That portal could send him anywhere, so he made sure to let two of them go first. He doubted that they would knowingly jump through a portal that was meant to transport the user into some sort of trap. Similarly, though, he made sure to go before the last of them. That way they couldn't shut the portal before he had a chance to jump through and leave him trapped. Unless they were willing to leave one of their own behind, that is. After the second man had gone through, he dived directly into the maroon vortex. He didn't really care if he ended up in Clock Town or not, just so long as it wasn't here.
As the world reappeared around him, the man front-flipped and landed neatly on both feet. He heard the two men who had gone ahead of him curse, and then he noticed why. The jungle still surrounded them on all sides, with no apparent ways out. He stepped out of the way of the portal, so the last man could get through without hitting him. He could have set out on his own, but he had little reason to. These men seemed trustworthy enough, and he hadn't been having much luck on his own anyway. He decided to accompany these men, at least until they died or escaped. Then he'd move on as always.

Blade was the last through the portal, and his reaction was not much different.
"Dammit!" He yelled. Taking his anger out on a nearby tree, he swung the hooked ends of his swords into it's trunk and pulled the tree down, tearing it in half. Once he was through, he was able to think rationally. Why did his powers work but Garen's didn't? They were both born with them, but were entirely different in nature. And Garen was still inexperienced in their use. There were too many factors, but Blade theorized that something was scrambling Garen's power, not that knowing this did them any good. There was no way of knowing what was blocking Garen's power, even where it was. There was something stranger though. The jungle was no longer attacking them for the time being. If there was time to meet the newest addition to their little jungle party.
"People call me Blade." He said to the mystery man. "And you are?"

Garen contemplated their dilemma. He knew that he did everything exactly correct, but they're still in the jungle.
"Why didn't that work? I was completely focused on our destination but now nature is just trying to screw with us." His attention drifted into space in deep thought. "Come to think of it, when I saw this place from the desert, it seemed rather small. But while we were running from the forest, we never came out of this place. Plus, were actually traveling in the direction I came from anyway. What the hell is going on?"
Garen returned to reality and saw their newcomer, a man he has yet to meet. "Hail, newcomer. My name is Garen Arthis. Welcome to the Jungle."

Argtoh glanced around the jungle with a disturbed look on his face. He was in the process of recalling every step he had taken in the jungle, Before I entered the jungle looked like it was less than a hundred square yards in size..but now that we are inside we can't get out..and the damn thing is alive too...something definitely isn't right here.. he thought. Suddenly a sharp pain erupted in Argoth's forearm, but when he looked down at it there was no wound, no sign of anything that had attacked him. Dizziness and nausea overtook him and pressed a hand to his forehead. His face was now drained of all color and he violently vomited onto the jungle floor. Argoth dropped to his knees, his eyes rolling back into his head. Then, as quickly as it had all started it ended, and Argoth lay on the jungle floor, unconscious.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not seconds later his eyes snapped open, however he was no longer in the jungle. A large light that seemed to resemble the sun glared into his eyes and he quickly squinted them to deflect some of the light. Apparently this was the ceiling and the next detail he noticed was that he was laying on some sort of gurney. Upon further inspection he noticed a needle protruding from his arm and some man standing over him in a white lab coat. For second Argoth couldn't believe his eyes. There's a man standing over me...a needle in my arm..and most importantly I'm not in the jungle anymore.. Then his mind finally put the pieces together after it caught up with what he was seeing, "Oh hell..." he thought allowed by accident. The man in the white lab coat was startled so much by this that while he was fixing the needle in Argoth's arm he ripped it out. "Ow!" he complained. The disgruntled assassin drove a fist into the man's face with incredible force. The man reeled backward smashing into a counter top, dragging its contents onto the floor with him as he tried to use it to stabilize himself. The look of pure surprise on his face made Argoth chuckle as he sat up. He swung his legs over the gurney and looked around the room.
It was odd looking, the walls were a dull silver with various cabinets along the walls of the same color. IV bags and stands were next to his bed and that of the others. Others? Argoth had to double take when he saw the others that had been in the jungle with him laying on similar gurneys, however, they were strapped down to theirs.
As Argoth was staring back at his companions some burly and vicious looking men entered the room, "He's awake! Get him," said a squeaky, fearful voice. Argoth whipped around to toward the door; while he was scoping out the rest of the room he must not have realized the man in the lab coat get up and leave. "Brought some friends eh?" Argoth taunted as he reached for his sword. His hand only grabbed air and he looked down at himself in disappointment. All of his belongings were still gone, "Oh, that's right..heh..I forgot." The men withdrew some tazer looking device and rushed in at him.
Argoth reacted faster than they could, dipping in between their futile jabs. He delivered a heavy strike to the sternum of the man on the left with his foot, sending him crashing into the counter. Argoth caught the next mans forearm as he thrust inward, electricity crackling off the end of his stick. He punched the man in the face several times until he was on his knees. Blood was running down his nose and his eyes were all puffy, another hit and he would lose consciousness. Before Argoth could deliver the final punch the other man tackled him into the gurneys behind him.
((I will now randomly select one of you to wake up:D.....eenie meenie miney mo...Eldrin! You're up! I'm not sure if your character can find a way out of his bonds, I dont know his abilities, if not, Blade you're up next! Cause I know he can.))
The violent jolt of electricity forced Argoth to spasm wildly, "Ahhhhhh! Dammit that hurts!" he yelled while punching the man off of him. He felt the tazer again, this time from someone else, then another, and another. While he was beating the hell out of the two men in the room the scrawny lab coat guy must have retrieved more of them. "Enough! Enough! I need him alive. Now take him to another room, he is too dangerous to be around the others." All the energy was leeched from Argoth as they continuously shocked him, then the little man saved him. The bigger ones scooped him up and began to haul him off to somewhere else.

"I am Zenith," The man replied, looking the ones called Blade and Garen over. They were obviously not to be underestimated. Garen could create and make use of portals, though his first example had failed. Regardless, the reactions of the others implied that this was unusual. And Blade had just ripped a tree in half. Enough said.
Before he had a chance to see anything else, violent pain surged across his face. Clutching his cheek, Zenith fell to his knees. He looked around wildly. Did these people have the power to inflict such pain without touching him? But as he squinted through his blurred vision, he saw the third man vomiting from similar pain. "What the h-" He grunted, before slumping forward into unconsciousness.
The next thing Zenith heard was a squeaky voice and the sharp chirping of electricity. His eyes opened to see the third man, who's name he had yet to learn, being assaulted by several large men. Before long the man was carried away, and only three guards remained.
Zenith's bindings fell to the ground as he stood up.
"How the hell did he get loose?!"
The three guards charge at him, wielding their lightning sticks. Zenith grabbed the first man's collar and threw him upward with incredible strength. The guard smashed into the ceiling painfully. Zenith held his hand in the air and caught the man's staff as the man himself fell back to the floor.
Twirling the weapon over his head, Zenith invited the next two to join their ally. The guards ran forward simultaneously. Zenith slammed the stick into one guard's face, sending him flying into the wall behind him. Dodging a blow from the last guard, he prodded his opponent with the electric end of his stick. The guard spasmed violently for a moment as the electricity coiled around his body. As soon as Zenith removed the weapon, the man whimpered and sank to the floor.
"Blade! Garen! Wake up, they've taken your friend."

Garen duly noted the man's name, Zenith. Before another thought came to mind, both Zenith and Argoth buckled in agonizing pain with no cause whatsoever.
"What the hell?!" Garen cried out. As soon as Argoth regurgitated, he dropped to the dirt, followed by Zenith. Garen couldn't comprehend what was taking place. Is the jungle doing this? Shortly after, Garen watched in confusion as both of their bodies disappeared without a trace. "Holy hell." Garen thought. "Am I next?" All of a sudden, the jungle started to rumble and make unexplained noises. He heard lightning, screaming, and familiar voices.
Then, a loud booming voice spread through the jungle, telling Garen to wake up. "Wake up? But I'm not-" He put the pieces together: a never-ending live forest, botched portals, the screaming from nowhere, of course! It was all a dream... a dream he needed to escape from. Garen waited for the unpleasant sensations of pain to wake him but they never came. He wondered what he could do to wake himself. "Hmm. If the pain doesn't come from the outside, could I cause it here? On the inside?" Garen thought about it for a moment, recalling all the times he was in pain here in the jungle. None of those incidents caused enough pain to wake him, so what could he do?
Garen came to a conclusion, an idea that was a real gambit. "It seems that for me to awaken, the assassin must assassinate himself." He flicked out his hidden wrist blade and turned his arm so the tip pointed square in the center of his neck. He took a few deep breaths to prepare himself and he could feel his heart beating. If this didn't work... Garen pushed aside all thoughts of doubt. This will work, this will work," He told himself. He took one final breath and turned to Blade. He told him, "See you in the waking world, brother."
He thrust the blade into his neck, the sharp edge penetrated his flesh smoothly like warm cheese and blood spouted from his neck like a garden hose. Overwhelmed in pain, Garen fell forward to the ground.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Garen woke up with a scream and was drenched in sweat. He tried to move but was pinned by the restraints. He surveyed the room, silver walls, lab equipment, downed thugs, and Zenith... Zenith? "So he is real..." Garen thought. He remembered the thundering voice in his mind, it was Zenith's.
Garen turned his left wrist around and tilted his head up, he still had his wrist blade. It seems that the scientist doesn't know an Assassin of Hyrule when he drugs and captures one. He flicked his wrist and the blade jutted from its resting place and severed the restraint. With his arm freed, Garen cut all of his restraints and lifted himself over the gurney. He stood and turned to Zenith, "Wake Blade, I'll take point." Garen took off after the scientist's men.

Blade awoke as Argoth was dragged away the guards, and rage filled him. He would not allow Argoth to suffer for his failure. He began shifting his weight left and right, hoping to topple the gurney he was strapped to. As it fell, golden energy swirled around it, causing it to spin at high speed. Bits of leather and metal escaped the swirling destruction, landing harmlessly away from the others. As it subsided, the fading energy revealed Blade on his and knees, fully unbound. He charged the guards without a second thought. He moved to the side as on of them thrust out their baton, and relieved the man of his weapon. Thrusting it into the man's mouth, Blade added to the man's suffering as he dug his claws into the man's stomach and chest, picking him up and throwing him into his comrades. The other two men picked themselves up and resumed their baton attacks, but soon found themselves weaponless as their batons skidded across the room.
Blade pounded his fist into his hand with an evil smile. The men tried to get the first move, but to no avail. Blade sliced one man's cheek with his claws, then turned and elbowed the other in the stomach, all in one fluid motion. The first man kicked, but Blade caught his leg and smacked him with the side of his fist. To add injury to insult, Blade grabbed his face, tripped the guard and drove his head into the stone floor. The second man recovered just in time to be tackled to the ground, and finished with a single punch. Blade shook the blood from his hands and walked over to Garen. He put his hands on his brother and took a deep breath.
"DON'T DO STUPID SHIT LIKE THAT AGAIN!" He yelled, shaking Garen violently.

The large men carried Argoth down a vast and narrow corridor, the puny man in the lab coat taking lead. "This way," he squeaked, turnings into another narrow hallway. Argoth groaned while the men escorted him, "You should probably make sure I'm unconscious next time," he grinned mischievously as he lifted his head. Both of the men glanced at him, confusion was written all over their faces. The man in the lab coat didn't have time to turn around before Argoth was already beating the men to death. Argoth placed his feet under him and heaved to the side, slamming his captor on the right into the wall. The man grunted from the impact and Argoth easily slipped out of his grasp. The assassin managed to throw an elbow into the side of his head before the man on his left reacted by forcefully smashing Argoth into the opposite wall. Before Argoth could counter he whipped him into the other wall with his hand wrapped around his throat. The man began to choke the life from him while raising his other fist to strike him I'm the face, although he never felt the satisfaction as Argoth drove a foot into his groin. He keeled over and once the man let go of his neck Argoth latched onto the back of his head and with as much force as he could muster slammed it onto the top of his knee. Instantly the man was incapacitated and he collapsed onto the cold hallway floor. As Argoth began to wail on the other man, who had been returning to his feet at the time, the terrified man in the lab coat released an impish squeal and blitzed down the hallway screaming for more guards.
Argoth quickly finished he man by kicking his head into the wall, but before giving chase to the lab coat guy he stole a tazer stick from his downed opponent. Sprinting after the wimpy scientist Argoth caught up to him enough to use the tazer as a projectile, and beamed it at the man. It spun end over end until finally connecting with the scientist's ass. The sound of electricity crackled as it jolted the man, causing a high pitched yelp to escape the man's throat. He tripped from the tazer and collided with floor; the whimpering scientist didn't even attempt to return to his feet, he just curled into the fetal position and covered his head with his arms. Once Argoth had caught up to him he grabbed him by the back of his neck and hoisted him up off he ground. He pressed the man hard up agaisnt the wall with his hand to his throat. The scientist was so frightened he began to urinate himself and Argoth couldn't help but smile out of amusement. Quickly switching back to serious he started to interrogate him, "Want to tell me what in the hell you were doing to all of us?" he drilled. Whimpers and terrified squeaks were all that he responded with, and he squeazed his eyes shut to avoid having to look at Argoth. The assassin sighed, "If you do not start talking I will beat the you within an inch of your life, so speak!" he yelled. "Okay okay! I'll talk.." he complied, "We were going to..." but the sorry excuse for a man never had the chance to finish. Right before he was about to explain an arrow embedded itself into his left eye socket. Blood exploded from the bursting eyeball and splattered Argoth's face. Argoth immediately looked back, he hadn't noticed he hallway behind him, and an entire group of men were hurtling toward him along with the archer behind them. Argoth smirked, "Fuck yeah." he said with pleasure, "Follow me." However much Argoth loved to fight he really didn't feel like taking on all those men inside a cramped hallway, so he header for the first exit he could find. Rounding a corner he found what he was looking for, and as he burst the door something completely unexpected him like a freight train, but it wasn't anything physical. "No way.." he breathed. Argoth could not believe his eyes. If he was believing what he was really seeing, they were on the moon. "The others aren't going to believe this.."

"Hey, whoa. I'm sorry," Garen apologized to Blade. Garen wriggled out of his worried brother's grip. "I had to wake up somehow. Next time I'll give you a warning," He explained. Immediately after he finished his sentence, the sounds of electricity and high-pitched shrieks were audible from a hallway. "Blade. Zenith. Follow." Garen ordered.
He dashed down the corridors the guards took Argoth through, eventually arriving at the scene of his escape. The large men were unconscious and the scientist lay dead with one less eyeball and one more arrow. Garen chuckled at the sight. "Bastard had it coming, he he." More clamor was heard just down the hall from his location. Promptly, Garen rounded the corner and saw the small group of guards pursuing Argoth. He grinned and reached for his sword... which was still locked away somewhere in the laboratory. "Well then, this should be fun." Without any weapons, he proceeded to chase the guards down through a door leading to... the surface of the moon?
"What. In. The. Goddesses. Name?" Was the only words he could let out. He was on the freaking moon.

Having lost consciousness before Garen had committed his apparent misdeed, Zenith was clueless as to the reason for Blade's anger. He decided it was none of his business anyway, and he would leave it to them. Zenith followed Garen down the hallway, past the dead scientist, and toward Argoth. "This fellow is certainly not hard to find." He commented, bemused by the trail of violence that followed the man like breadcrumbs.
Suddenly, Zenith saw white plains of nothing stretching out before him. In all of his extensive travels, he had never come upon a place such as this. Then he realized what had come to the others immediately. The moon.
Zenith shook his head in disbelief. "How do you suppose we got up here?" He asked curiously, as he was almost certain that these men did not frequent the moon any more often than he did.
Regardless of how they had gotten into their current situation, they had to deal with it. "Your friends will be soon to rejoin us." Zenith said to the unnamed man gesturing down the hall at the guards.
