Torak reached the Temple of Time as the day turned into night. An owl hooted from nearby, Torak's head turned into that direction and he could swear that he saw the black shape of a very large owl fly in front of the moon. He shook his head at this and continued to walk to the entrance of the Temple.
He reached the giant wooden doors and he placed a hand on it. He pushed with one arm and the door slowly opened, he squeezed in and it slammed shut behind him.
He looked around and started to walk towards the Altar of Time.

". . . . I'm not use to having guest entering the Temple of Time, especially since the sun had just settled for the night. . . " Spoke a voice from the heavily shadowed corner of the temple.

Torak stopped and he looked over his right shoulder and said "I wasn't aware that you've taken residance in the Temple of Time...relax...I'm here on personal business. No Assassin business here this evening."
He reached into his pouch and pulled out the Carnavorian artifact.

Pyrrha followed in closely behind Alemine, but stared at the massive structure in front of her. Apollonarius, her strange father, ordered her mother to tell her to come to this place before she turned twenty-five. He said, rather cryptically, that her destiny awaited her there. She never met him, but didn't want to set foot into the building until she was ready and, she thought warmly, with Halt. Then, she would go in there and read from the black page of the book hidden in the seventh pillar of the place.
Alemine shivered, as the massive thing gave off an overwhelming sense of finality, but felt Pyrrha's hand on her shoulder. "I stop here. Good luck in there," the woman said to her. Alemine froze. "Wait, Pyrrha, you're not coming with me?" she asked, her voice knocking up an octave. She didn't know is she could do it! She spun around to her cloaked companion, her eyes boring into her beseechingly. "Nope. Klaus's orders. I'll be around, waiting, watching, but you're on your own this time." Alemine now shook. "But..I'm not ready! I can't do this!"she squeaked, taking a step forward.
Pyrrha put her hands on her shoulders, then spun her around gently with her surprising strength. "Klaus wouldn't have sent you if he didn't think you were ready. You know what to do. Be careful. Be strong. Ni hermelausin hi recoriliosi eta carrionario hmi limye eta noxarius. Go get 'em, Solas," Pyrrha said, giving her a tiny shove to the direction of the doors, then her hands were gone. A million questions on her lips, Alemine spun around, but the woman was gone. She called her name several times and kicked at the cobblestones in frustration, but turned to the inevitable, and walked up the temple steps with a sigh.
Up on the limb of a tree, Pyrrha watched her charge open the door and slither in nervously, and briefly wondered if she was too harsh with the girl. But upon remembering Klaus leaving her in the desert when she was fourteen to survive, all a part of a plan, she smiled and leaned back against the trunk of the tree. She was being kind compared to her previous mentors. She hooted like an owl for the hell of it, and was dead on, as usual.
Alemine was hit with a blast of cold air as soon as she opened the door. She came in, hurriedly, letting the door slam behind her. She had heard stories of zombies wakling around the Temple during the Hero of Time's days, and she was convinced they were still around. She relaxed for a second, seeing nothing, then took a step forward on the red carpet set out in front of her.
But a movement caught her eye and she saw a hooded figure and it was slightly hunched over, either looking at something or just hunched over. Her mouth wordlessly came open as she instantly assumed the worse. Zombie! In the Temple of Time! She drew her sword and took out her small shield, trying to be careful and strong, but she couldn't! She screamed and in her haste ran into the doors, hitting her forehead and her nose quite well. Still screaming from sheer terror she was still stunned, and dizzy, and clawed at the stone wall frantically, thinking it was the door.

Torak placed the Carnavorian artifact back in his pouch and turned around, he pulled out his sword in time to see Alemine running full force into the door. He sighed and put the blade back into it's scabbard and walked back and crouched down looking into her eyes. "Girl...what are you doing in here? Shouldn't you be back with your troupe?" He asked, extending a hand out for her to grasp and get up.

Alemine's vision cleared and she gazed at him, then cautiously poked the palm of the hand he extended her and squeezed his arm, to make the skin didn't bend and become flaccid like it does in zombies. "You're not a zombie!" she said brightly, very relieved. She squinted, staring into his eyes, then pulled back. "Oh. Hi, Mr. Wolffang. And, because," she said, the latter of the sentence directed to her reasoning of being here. She couldn't bring herself to lie to the assassin, but she couldn't give the Legion away either. She took his hand and used him as leverage to get up shakily on her feet, then she meekly set to looking for her short sword and shield to avoid talking to him, her head numb and her nose sore, thankfully not broken, from the hit she took from the door.

"You're here on Legion business..don't worry about telling me." Torak said, making sure she was okay before turning around. "You're more than welcome to watch as long as you don't get in the way." Torak said.

The Sea Dragon, still sitting in the shadows, just watched as the girl ran screaming into the doors, then after hearing that she thought that Torak was a zombine, he sighed. "What makes you believe that there are zombines here inside the temple of time? Realistically I can imagine if they were outside but to be actually on tdemple grounds?"

Torak could really care less about why she had the crazy idea that zombies roamed the Temple. He pulled the artifact out again and walked towards the Altar of Time.

]A bit hurt, Alemine, rubbed her elbow, staring at the ground. "They could be holy zombies...or zombies that are immune to temples...I'm sorry..." she mumbled. But she didn't want to! She wanted to be strong and confidant, just like Pyrrha or Xanthe! Or Iona! ...Well, minus her tendency to be lost...
"I promise I won't be in your way, Mr. Wolffang! I like watching that's what I'm-- Wait, nevermind!" she said, nearly spilling everything. She skipped behind Torak to catch up to him, then walked just behind him, as he approached the Altar.

"Sending her to spy on me...What are they up to.." Torak thought. If anything important happens...he'll bind her to an ancient contract that isn't easily broken. Torak did not want the secrets of his homeland told to Klaus.
Torak stopped before the altar and looked upon it. It had three slots for where the Spiritual Stones would be placed...it also held another slot. One that was the right size for the artifact in Torak's hand, the Master Assassin lowered the hand that held the artifact and placed it onto the slot.
Suddenly, a light shot forth from the artifact and engulfed the room. The light was only there for a few seconds and it retreated, floating above the slot with the artifact was a golden wolf with red eyes.
The wolf's mouth did not move as it spoke, it's voice echoed through Torak's mind.
"Torak Wolffang...last of the Wolf Clan. Heir to the Carnavorian Throne...I have waited many moons to speak to you."
Torak's eyes widened when the golden wolf said 'Heir'.
"Wait...what do you mean?!" Torak said, shocked.
The wolf extended it's telepathic words to Alemine and Oarashi (did I get it right?) "Yes...heir...you are the next in line to rule over Carnavora."

"Carnavora? Never heard of such a place" Oarashi spoke. Then again he never DID left his island nor study. . . ahh who was he kidding? His clan doesn't have any historical scrolls on the other lands for that matter.

The wolf seemed to have sensed Oarashi's confusement and said to all three of them "Carnavora is the land from which Torak and I hail from. It is located on the other side of the Great Bay in Termina."
Torak already knew this and still couldn't believe what the wolf had just said about him being the heir to the throne of Carnavora.
The wolf looked back over at Torak and spoke aloud to all three again "In your homeland...the new royal family is chosen by a very powerful demon of each tribe. Dog, Coyote, Jackal, Fox and Wolf. And in that order...the Fox Clan's time was at a close and it was time for the Wolf to take control...thus...that is the reason why Zanzabar chose you as a host."

(I LOVE Coyotessssssssss. I actually have a full mounted Coyote pelt, a coyote skull, claws and fangs XD )
Oarashi frowned. So technically Torak himself wasn't born of nobility rather the heir was chosen by means of having ideal leader vaules? Very much like a wolf pack indeed. Oarashi thought to himself. It would make sense that is how a leader is chosen in a canine tribe, but of course he could be wrong.

Alemine paled. Vrei Svengal....The Wolf. Klaus had originally came up with the name for the assassin. Had he known this was going to happen? Did he know that Torak was heir to his clan? It was then that Alemine realized that was Klaus's real reasoning to be sent out here; to confirm this to him. Alemine kept her peace, focusing on listening to every bit of information. Carnavora...she didn't know if the Legion knew much about this strange land, but she made mental notes anyways. Not that they had any sort of bad intent on any nation, rather it is usually the other way around.
