Blade was unimpressed with the wolf's childish curiosity, and Sappho suggested 'Lobo'. Thell scowled. "Just you wait. He's going to be awesome!" Thell assured the two men with confidence. "And awesome and Lobo can never describe the same being. I'll name him... Zan. Yeah, that'll work." For a second all was well as Thell sat there, satisfied with her name. And then it hit her as Zan strayed from Blade to investigate all the other individual scents, rapidly moving his muzzle to many different directions. "Blade, can you track things with your nose?" It hadn't occurred to her that dogs were specially trained to scent and track things. And she wanted to take off tomorrow... Speaking of which, what exactly was supposed to happen with Sappho and Blade there? She needed to sleep, and she wasn't quite sure if they were staying or leaving. Maybe they'd be willing to help her on her quest to kill the mystery guy. Not that she needed help... maybe. She wouldn't admit to it.

"Yes. I wouldn't be much of a wolf otherwise." He answered. "Why do you ask?"

"If I want Zan to track the stupidest jerk of all time, am I going to have to train him to track that specific scent?" Thell asked with a frown, eying the wolf as it finally decided to go over to the one thing it couldn't smell, which was Vandir. Vandir stayed still besides his head, which rotated to follow the canine as it investigated the creature that was made of wood like he was. "Or can I just give him the scent and then he'll follow it?"

"You made it, shouldn't you know that?" Blade said.

Thell became flustered as Blade pointed out that she was the one who made the wolf. "He's an experiment. I've never made an animal for this purpose before. I never know how to work the first one. They have life, they can make up their own minds. I'd ask him but it'll take him a while to develop language. GRAH!" With that exclamation of frustration Thell shoved the last chunk of bread into her mouth and angrily began chewing.
"You're an idiot," Vandir observed, his voice sounding amazingly nice for someone who had just insulted her intelligence.
Thell looked around, glancing at Sappho and then Blade. "I guess I'll just have to test Zan and see how it works," she said, snapping her fingers to catch the wooden wolf's attention. Her right hand began to glow enough just long enough for her to say "Zan" and then the glow faded. Zan now knew his name, and padded forward, sniffing his way over to his creator. With that, Thell glanced over at Sappho and Blade. "Why are you guys wandering the woods anyway?"

"Hmmm, you do not know much about handling animals do you?" Sappho frowned, ignoring Rii's question as he watched the girl get the wooden wolf's attention before addressing him by the name she decided deemed fit for him. "Even though you have indeed created the wolf and brought it to life with your magic, as you said they have the ability of willpower and doing what they want. No one could command or force a creature to do something they wish not to do, you can only ask them if they want to and even when they refuse you cannot force them or hurt them into doing what you want. Anyways, I have my own business for being a vagabond, noone else needs to know my reason for being."

"Not wandering. Hunting." Blade explained. "Not animals, mind you. Men. One man actually. Ran into the village, took one of the kids hostage. Saved the kid, he tried to lose me in the woods." Blade reached into a pouch on his belt and pulled out a bloody cloth. "Didn't work out too well for him. Then I ran into you two. You're new. He's still uptight as ever." Blade joked, flashing Lien a small grin.

((XD Sappho))
The white fox just simply crossed his arms and scoffed. "I'm not sure who you mean by that."

Thell was not quite sure what was going on, and she was tired, but she was absolutely set on not sleeping when such matters as what to do with the two males before her were still at hand. Currently, though, she liked Blade better despite his short responses. He had at least explained why he was there. Sappho, while being talkative, had hurt her pride just slightly (though the women of her village would say she couldn't blame him, because he wasn't aware how her power worked with the wood) hadn't answered her question, and Thell was also a prideful person. She took pride in what she was good at, and what she was good at was eating, killing and carving.
"Neither am I," Thell then said. "Do you know each other?"

"Eh, sort of." Blade put the bloody cloth back inside his bag. "There was this thing a while back when some of the other guys thought he was a traitor. Wish I was there, the way Torak told it, it was a pretty good fight." Blade explained. "Anyway, turns out it was all a misunderstanding and he was on our side the whole time. That's all I know. He was half dead the whole time, so he probably can't tell ya much more."

"Must you spout every unnessicary information to complete strangers?" he grumbled, crossing his arms.

"I've seen her type before. If she's expecting a knife in the back, she'll make sure she's the one pushing it in." He replied. "Besides, the past is the past. No one can change what happened."

Thell smiled at Blade's observation, pleased with the way she had come off. Vandir wasn't convinced. "One, that's technically not supposed to be a good thing, Thell." But Thell's smile simply widened into a grin. Stabbing people in the back. Well, actually, she was more of the time to behead someone, considering her weapons. Vandir seemed to notice that as well. "Two, I am betting she is correcting you in her head, saying that she would behead someone, not stab, because she's axe-crazy. And three, you got that from the ten minutes you've spent here? I would've observed her as an easily offended and rash red-head with a fire-issue."
At this analysis of her interaction with others, Thell stuck her tongue out. "Be glad I don't like fire, because you'd have been reduced to ash by now," she teased. Then she looked back at Sappho. "And you're too mysterious. Unnecessary information gives me reason not to behead you." Which was true in most cases, though sometimes when she found out certain... interesting details about the boys who worked as apprentices at her carpenter workshop, she felt the urge to castrate them. But that was completely different. Maybe. "So you two have gone on adventures? Fights and all that?"

"I spend a lot of time around people who are hard to read. The things you said are all surface stuff. Anyone can see that. I've been taught to look deeper." Blade replied.
"And yeah, I've been in a couple fights." Blade said.

Vandir nodded, understanding Blade's point. He had known Thell long enough to know that his observation had been correct, he just wasn't the type to naturally look for deep characteristics. He wouldn't try to read someone and their personality unless given good reason. Blade did seem far more observant than he, though, and for that the wooden dragon admired the mystery man with wolf features.
"Fun," Thell remarked, slightly jealous of all the potential blood they could have shed for a purpose. Sure, shedding blood because of little insults could be fun, but Thell did have a purpose. She had seen a lot of fights, and had trained a lot, but it was because of bars, or protecting the healer who had helped her, or something similar. It was never anything big for a quest or something, which was unfortunate because that was the reason Thell left home in the first place. "What kind of great quests did you fight for? Any of your own?" She wasn't quite sure why she was asking. She liked to figure things out on her own and not depend on anybody, but that didn't mean she didn't like people when they weren't being big idiots. And besides, she wondered how people got groups to go questing with.
