Blade smirked a bit as they passed the bodies. He had forgotten how subtle Argoth wasn't. Then he reached the door opening to the lunar landscape. He looked up and saw the Terminian coast. He'd seen maps of it before, but it was unthinkable to see all of it at once. The maps were off in some places, but none of that mattered now as the guards advanced toward them. He put his hand on Zenith's shoulder.
"We haven't seen what you can do yet, so you can have this batch." Blade offered with a grin.

"How considerate of you." Zenith said, nodding to Blade. Electroshock staff in hand, the man calmly walked down the hallway to meet the coming guards. He counted only six, each armed with the same weapon that he'd taken from the guard earlier. Spinning the staff in his hand, Zenith ducked under a blow from his first opponent and delivered a punishing blow to the man's sternum. He caught a second staff, just under the electric end, and jabbed the owner with his own. Electricity coursed through the guard's body and he slumped to the floor unconscious. He spun on his heel and smashed the butt of his staff into another's skull, then kicked a fourth into an adjacent wall. As the fourth leaned against the wall in a daze, a fifth was swiped off of his feet by Zenith's staff. He slammed the fourth man's head into the wall, finishing him. Before Zenith had even turned to face the last guard, the man took off running down the hallway. Zenith took a moment to aim, then hurled the staff. The weapon soared through the air and struck its target in the back. The guard spasmed and collapsed in a heap on the floor.
Zenith scavenged yet another electroshock staff from one of his fallen enemies, this one collapsible. "I am not quite as effective without my blade, Krahenfeder... But this weapon is good enough." He said, walking back toward them, collapsing the staff into a mere rod. The buzzing of the electric weapon faded upon being collapsed, as if it had been turned off. He hung the rod from a loop on his belt. "I do prefer armaments of a more lethal variety, though."

Argoth frowned as Zenith finished all of the pathetic henchmen,"Awww, you didn't leave any for me! Ah well, I'll get the next batch," he complained. After his fit was over Argoth examined the landscape. He was not surprised by its vastness nor the empty white valleys that pocked its surface. However, he did notice several other buildings, even a market area farther down on his left. It was as if whoever had captured them had started their own civilization up here. The more he thought about this place the more puzzled he became, and his face definitely reflected it. "Uh..guys, how exactly are we going to get home..?" he asked with a peculiar look on his face.
"Beautiful, isn't it?" someone asked from behind them. Argoth whipped his head around to see who had spoken. It was no voice he recognized. A rather tall man, with features like an aristocrat and clothes that matched slowly walked forward from the expanse of the moon. Argoth didn't say anything, so the man continued, "I created the whole thing myself. I am rather quite proud of my work if I do say so myself. Not to boast or anything. Oh look at me, I'm rambling. Now, it is my understanding that you and your friends have a bit of a quarrel with my staff. Why do you rebel? Do you not know your purpose for being here?"
Argoth scoffed at the mysterious newcomer, "No, your 'staff' failed to mention that as they performed experiments on us. As a matter of fact, they seemed quite adamant on not letting us know what the hell is going on here!" he yelled angrily.
The aristocratic man tipped his head to the side in confusion, then a moment later an invisible light bulb flashed above his head. "Ah, yes. My partner, keelix, he doesn't think you ought to know. He is the one overseeing this whole operation, however I do not see the point in not telling you, there isn't much you can do anyway. But since you have gone through all of the trouble of escaping I guess you have deserved some answeres."
"What were you doing to us!" Argoth interjected.
"Simple," he began, "We are going to clone you."

Garen could not believe what he had just seen and heard. A civilization on the moon and being cloned. He faced the strange man and said,
"Ha! Clone us? Believe me, we are people that you cannot exactly duplicate," Garen crossed his arms and asked, "Why do wish to clone us specifically? For what purpose is this entire project?"

The clean cut gentleman took a step forward and smiled at Garen's question. He removed his hands from behind his back and a chic black cane with a gorgeous red ruby nestling at the tip was in his left hand. He began walking forward with it as he explained, and for a moment Argoth inspected his appearance. His hair was brown and slicked back, he had a an all black suit with a red undershirt and tie. A pair of spectacles neatly rested upon the bridge of his nose and he was surprisingly good looking for a rich guy. The way he presented himself bothered Argoth because it reminded him of Syrus; an arrogant, pompous asshole.
"I have been watching you all, studying you from the solitude of the moon. You all do a very nice job of protecting Hyrule, do you not? Some might even call you heroes. Most of you posses extraordinary capabilities beyond anything I have ever seen. You, Blade, you are a part of the Assassins of Hyrule, your abilities come from a demon that lurks within you. And Garen, you are also a member, as well as you too Argoth. Are you happy to be back? Hm hm, oh yes, I know all about your little apprentice and how he killed you. The two of you are human, yet you have astounding fighting abilities, and your will to survive is incredible. I also know of you, Zenith. You're relatively new here aren't you? I don't have much on you, however it does seem that your capabilities as a fighter are quite impeccable. Oh, and don't forget the rest of your friends, Kadina, Max, Mathayus, Eldrin, Icylius, Iona...I don't have time to sit here and go on about them but I assure you, I know all there is to know." he stopped in the middle of them, holding his cane out in front of him with both hands placed on top.
"Who are you?" Argoth asked.
"I am Zael, master of the moon and all that is on it. Soon though, soon I will have Hyrule as well." He glared maniacally at Argoth for a moment before realizing he had drifted to his darker side. Zael cleared his throat before continuing, "Excuse me, my apologies. I have a tendency to linger into the darker half of myself sometimes. I prefer civility over savagery, when I can help it"
Suddenly a light switch was turned on in his head, and Arogth finally understood what Zael was trying to do. "You're making an army...aren't you? Of us...and once it's finished you're taking it to Hyrule to conquer it..
"Hm, right you are Argoth."
"But why just us? Why didn't you have the others captured up here as well? Or do you already?"
Zael scoffed, "Have you up here all at the same time! Ha! Do you really think I am that stupid? It would be catastrophic to my plans. The heroes of Hyrule work extremely well together, having you all here at the same time would no doubt be the end of me. However, that little boy, Maximus, has been a little too curious for his own good. He has rallied the rest of your friends and is making an attempt to come here before schedule. Well I can't have that now can I? I'm not done with you yet. So I sent a...welcoming gift to them, to keep them busy...hm hm."
"You know Zael, you're plan seems pretty good right now, but in retrospect I think you know that this is not going to work out so well for you once I kick the living shit out of you and your plan." Argoth threatened angrily.
Zael put a smile on his face that would have made any girl melt, "That's what makes it so fun master Argoth, I want you to try and stop me."

Blade watched as the exchange took place. Zael was a very good talker, and his vision of a cloned army made up of his friends was unsettling to say the least. He had an air of confidence. No, arrogance. But he also had leadership, ambition, and a winning smile. He knew he was right about everything. And he was. Except for one detail: Blade had no demon within him. He was a demon, and that mistake might be enough to destroy Zael.
"You think we'll just let you clone us? Our friends?" Blade yelled. "I'll fight whatever knockoff you've created out of me, and I'll crush it!" Blade roared.

Zael chuckled at Blade's outburst, "Do you really think you could defeat hundreds of clones of yourself? Could you really defeat something that knows every aspect of your fighting style? It will think like you, act like you, and most of all, kill like you. And what's more, once my army descends upon Hyrule the very people you have fought so hard to protect will resent you. They won't know the difference from the clones and the real heroes. I will have collectively gained control of the world as well as disposed of the heroes who protect it."
By this time Argoth was becoming quite angry, "Alright, I'm done with this talking bullshit. I'm not letting you clone me or any of my friends, your plan ends now." Argoth rushed in toward Zael throwing a deadly punch toward his face.
A faint smile appeared on Zael's face before he easily evaded the punch and tripped Argoth with his cane. The assassin hit the ground and the next thing he knew he had a blade pressed up against his throat. Apparently hidden in Zael's cane was a sword. "Always in the mood to fight, eh Argoth?" he taunted, smiling that ever so friendly smile. "Well now, let's negotiate shall we?" he looked up at the others as he spoke, "Argoth gets to live, if you do as I say. Now, I know what you might be thinking, how can I kill him I need him for the army, right? But the truth is much less sweet. One less of you is of no hindrance to my plan. So, what'll it be?"
"You're pretty naive if you think I am going to let you do this to me," Argoth shot back, palming the sword away from his neck and sending a kick straight for Zeal's gut. As Argoth tried to roll away however, Zael caught his ankle with ease before it reached his stomach. "Tsk tsk, you should really know who you are dealing with before you attempt to rush in like that Argoth, now look where you are." Zael scolded, and stabbed Argoth in the shoulder. The blade ran clean through to the other side and Argoth hissed in pain, "Ahhh"
"Now, do as I say or the next one goes through his chest." Zael snapped his fingers and a multitude of the henchmen with the shock sticks came rushing in from inside the building they had just escaped from. "Subdue them," Zael said plainly while wrenching the sword from Argoth's shoulder. The henchmen began shocking Argoth on the ground until he was no longer capable of fighting back. They did the same to the others as well.

The shock sticks immobilized Garen in painful spasms as hundreds of volts of electricity coursed through his body. To resist the jolts of electricity, he tensed his body and heightened his mental focus. However, it wouldn't be long until he would be passed out on the gray dust of the moon's surface. He had to think of something fast.
"Damn this smug bastard! Is there anything he doesn't know?" Garen thought. Maybe there was, he recalled all of his skills, abilities, and weaknesses and found one detail that Zael may have overlooked, or at least was not prepared for... Garen's control over gates is unstable, and requires an individual with a strong and calm mind to utilized properly. If not, the energy would become destructive and possibly uncontainable, and would create havoc in the surrounding are. Given the current situation, is that really a bad thing?
Garen decided to take the gamble, since he was releasing control intentionally, it would be easy to contain afterward. He dropped his focus and let the electricity really affect him. The ordeal became much more painful, he screamed in agony, his emotions ran wild, he was getting angry, severely angry, he felt like wanted to tear the guards eyeballs from their sockets.
Although, this was all part of the plan. The dark red aura that was usually about his body when using the energy returned, this time it looked fiery with rage. The aura grew stronger and profound as it became gradually unstable.
Just before Garen thought he'd pass out, the energy lashed out in a small but powerful radial blast. The guards were knocked through the air(?) in all directions. There were five of them, all armed with shock sticks, and he had his fists. There was a shock stick lying on the ground in front of him, the guard lost his grip in the blast.
Garen took deep breaths and eventually restored order and focus in his mind and the aura faded away. He grabbed the baton and studied it, searching for the device that activated the electricity. He found a small knob near one of the ends of it. Garen turned it and the other end of the stick lit up and crackled with electricity.
As the henchmen were still recovering from the explosion, Garen rushed over and pounced on one of them. He thrust the electrical end in the guards neck, the stick sparked with intense electrical energy and the fool fainted after only two seconds. Garen stood and turned to face the rest of the group, who were already up and ready for a fight. Garen twirled his shock stick and entered a battle stance, "Who's next?" He challenged and dashed towards them.
A henchman swung at Garen from the left towards his head. He ducked and beat the guard in the gut with the plain end. The bludgeoning force caused the henchmen to double over. Garen popped back up and swung the shock stick at the guard's head. The force and electricity were enough to knock him out cold and he slumped to the moon dust. Three left.
Two of them attacked Garen together. One lunged at him with a forward stab. Garen evaded to the side, the henchman's arm still outstretched. He grabbed the arm with his empty hand and used the plain side of the shock stick to break it with a powerful stab to the elbow. "Ahh!" the poor fool screamed. His broken arm was released but was quickly followed up with a hard kick to the side by Garen. The guard reeled over and tumbled away, leaving Garen with the other henchman.
The second guard went for an overhead swing to the face, but Garen saw it coming and grabbed the enemy's shock stick near the plain end. He wrenched it out of the guard's grasp and stabbed him with the electrical end in the chest, sending a shock through the heart. The henchman hit the ground and did no more. The other guard was still trying to get his bearings after the powerful kick, Garen threw one of the shock sticks at the fool. It spun rapidly through the air(?) and the electrical end caught the bastard in the back, sending volts of electricity through his body until he was finally rendered unconscious.
The final henchman charged and made a desperate swing to the chest. Garen dodged and shocked the guard in the waist. The henchman let out a loud higher-pitched screech and promptly feel to the ground writhing in pain. Garen stared down at the poor fool, apparently he accidentally shocked the guard in the groin.
"Oh, he he. Sorry," he apologized. Garen shifted his attention to the egotistic ringleader of the lot. He cast a portal a little bit of ways behind Zael and popped another above him, high in the air(?). "Zael! Now I'm coming after you!" Garen belted out. He twirled the baton to underhand and launched it like a javelin at Zael.

If the clones were the same as them in every aspect, including personality, then how could this man expect to control them? He wondered this, but refrained from asking. The others seemed less intent on inquiring this strange man about his plans, and more intent on resisting him. He couldn't help but notice the similarities between this man and the other. A distant, vague figure that still loomed in the back of his mind after all these years. But Zael brought him back to fresh reality. He wondered, could they be the same? He could hardly remember the other's face, but Zael sure seemed familiar. It was possible. He knew that he had to find this answer at all costs. Suddenly, Zenith and the others were surrounded by guards and Zael was ordering them subdued. Zenith fell to his knees in pain as the electric batons did their damage, but Garen acted. The assassin released a ferocious burst of energy that knocked the guards away from them, then proceeded to take out the guards the old fashioned way: with an electric baton. Zenith struggled to his feet just as Garen used his portals to get in close to Zael and launch an attack. Zenith's mind raced as Zael's previous words echoed through his head. "Now, do as I say or the next one goes through his chest." Zenith rushed forward, ducking under another shock stick. He reached Zael and Argoth with minimal resistance and extended his own weapon. He struck the guard closest to Argoth in the face, sending electricity crackling through his body. The next fell to a right hook and another to a blow from his electroshock staff. A final two guards moved in, but Zenith kicked one in the solar plexus and sent him falling into the other. Zenith finished the one who'd been knocked over by his ally with a blow from his staff. Once Argoth's assailants had been finished, Zenith heaved the assassin over his shoulder and ran in the other direction. His goal was to get Argoth as far away from the Zael as possible, and treat the wound if he could. He had taken a gamble really. Argoth would receive far better medical care if left in Zael's hands, but with the others resisting he was likely to be murdered for their insubordination. Zenith was just cresting one of the many grayish white hills when he stopped dead. At the base of the hill on the other side was at least twenty guards. Zenith sighed as he gently set Argoth down at the top of the hill. "Down a score, free a pair," he muttered extending the electroshock staff and twirling it slowly. "Not a bad deal..."Zenith descended the hill like an avalanche, bringing down four guards as he slammed into the crowd. For a moment, Zenith disappeared into the group of guards. Then suddenly, the crowd dispersed momentarily. Zenith stood in the center as the guards gathered back around him. The entire crowd converged upon Zenith at once, attacking him with all of their might. Zenith beat the guards back with brutal force, downing six more. Only ten remained, but Zenith was growing tired and electricity ran through his body from countless jabs with the shock staves. He slammed his staff into the first of ten guards, knocking him on his back. A second was knocked unconscious as Zenith's fist slammed into his skull. Yet for every man he took down, it seemed the others shocked him ten times. He fell to one knee as the remaining eight moved in to finish him. In desperation, he thrust his staff into the closest man's gut. The man cried in pain and slumped forward, but Zenith did not stop. He shocked the man ruthlessly until he was sure the guard was dead. In his determination, Zenith had not even noticed seven sparking ends of shock staffs pressed into his back. But now, he succumbed to the force. Zenith crumpled to the ground, the sound of his heartbeat pounding in his ears. The pounding faded to silence... White. A world of white. Black dots peppered the white. Dots with wings. Wings with feathers. Feathers of birds. Birds... Crows. Crows surrounded him yet again. Zenith stood, no, hovered in the center of a legion of crows. They surrounded him in a black orb. Their beaks moved, but no sound was heard. Their wings flapped, but they did not move at all. He peered around as he always had, his intrigue flaring. But his curiosity would not be sated. There were no answers to be found in this world of white. Only results. A crow flew forward and struck Zenith upon the chest, melding with him, becoming one with his very being. The world of white went black. Zenith's eyes snapped open to see Zael's fancy shoes. He lay in the dust next to Argoth, before Zael's feet. He made to move, but found that his muscles would not comply. "Damn..."

Zael chuckled as Garen and Zenith retaliated, "You must really want him to die," but before Zael could finish the assassin Garen whipped a shock stick at him. He sighed and deflected the baton from the air with his sword cane. "Don't think I have overlooked your portal abilities Garen, even if I failed to metion them."
Zael stood perfectly still while Zenith tried to play hero and scooped Argoth up off the ground. He watched as the battle ensued with Zenith and smiled that devilishly charming smile when the poor guy ended up back at his feet again. "I applaud your failed heroics but I'm afraid I have much to do so I really can't stay," he spoke with an utterly confident and condescending tone, "However, I do see a great deal of punishment awaiting you all." He placed an expensive shoe on Zenith's throat and rested the tip of his blade on his forehead. "Now, if all of you would be so kind as to follow directions this time," he began, smiling, "I think I won't have to kill your friend here."
Just as before, men with electric batons came storming out of the building behind them. "Throw them in the lock down unit below ground. Make sure they are restrained fully, we don't want them performing this little fiasco again do we? I'll be down later to hand out punishment, however right now I have urgent matters to attend to. It seems little Max is almost here." And with that he turned around and casually strolled off.
The burly henchmen complied and shocked the heroes into submission before dragging them into the building.
Argoth felt extremely weak partly from the electric shock and also from the current blood loss of his wound. His eyes felt heavy, and it was all he could do to try and hold them open. Once they reached their destination the men tossed them rather violently onto a cold, damp, concrete floor. What came next were thick steel chains around their arms legs and torso that pinned them tightly to the wall. After all of them were constrained the henchmen disbanded, leaving the dark room. "Enjoy your stay..hahaha" the last one chuckled as he slammed the door shut.
"Great.." Argoth breathed, clear exhaustion in his voice, "What do we do now?"
