Garen strode unyieldingly through the Zora's Fountain, eventuall reaching the water's edge and began to swim in the same determined manner. He reached the far side soaking wet but it felt to him as if it were no burden. His mind set on his objective. He needed to know. What was he searching for? ... Power. Not physical strength, but a supernatural power.
In recent days, Garen has been reflecting on his past life; His family, his training, his past battles, and his hiatus from Hyrule. When he returned, and met the rebels, he felt as though he were weaker than the others. Why? No power. Feeling like he had fallen behind in terms of firepower and feeling like a mere soldier with an axe. The axe in which he had to train years for.
Although not showing much care for powers to others, Garen can, at times, be rather jealous of his new comrades. As he remembered a few key events of his life, Garen noticed that his family life is very average and feels that it is too average. He suspects that his family is more than just townspeople.
"Everyone has their own natural ability." He thought. "Whether its swordsmanship or gardening, a musical instrument or leadership. I have my own. Now I will finally recognize it." He had traveled to the Zora's Fountain to locate a Great Fairy, knowing their ability to unlock, or even grant, power to the people of Hyrule. If he had not a special power, he would ask if the Great Fairy may tell him what it be.
Garen came across a cave, certain it would lead to the Great Fairy Fountain. Upon entering, he could see a small faint light towards the end. He walked in the same fashion as before towards said light. As he drew near, the light grew bigger. Upon reaching it, he was in a large cavern. In the center, resided a large sparkling pond with two large torches lit at its sides. Seeing this majesty softened up Garen's nerves and he began to relax. He strut calmly up to the pond, and stood on top of a triforce symbol which was on the floor in front of it. Gradually, the pond began to glow a bright blue and then, the Great Fariy had appeared!
"O strong and determined one. I am the Great Fairy of Magic! What brings you to my fountain?" The magical fairy asked.
"I am Garen Arthis." He replied with a bow. "I am here to recognize my natural ability and I plead for your guidence."
"For what purpose, Garen Arthis?" She asked in a suspicious tone.
"I feel that I could be of more help to Hyrule with a power. And if it is not a power, a mere physical ability, I would still be satisfied to know." Garen replied humbly.
"Yes, I see. Fear not, I do sense a power wiithin you. However, it is rather faint. I shall unlock the ability." She agreed. She held one hand out at Garen, it glowed a bright orange color. An orange aura began to glow around Garen. But as soon as it appeared, it faded. A frown grew on the Great Fairy's face.
"What happened? Is there a problem?" Garen asked concerned.
"It seems that a curse has been placed on you." She replied.
"What?! A curse?!" Garen asked in dismay.
"Calm yourself. I did not mean a curse. It seems that your powers are sealed." She said reassuringly.
"I don't remember many wizards or shamans in my history. Plus, they never attacked me. Perhaps this happened in my early childhood?" Garen speculated.
"Perhaps. Do not worry, I remember this great man many years ago who lifted the worst curses, broke many seals physically and spiritually, and he still lives today. He should be no challenge to locate as well." The Great Fairy informed.
"Who is this man?" Garen asked anxiously.
"He is Jaru... Jaru Arthis, your father." She told him.
"My father? This is amazing! I knew we were too average to anyone's liking. They must ave lived an average life to keep my power a secret. I humbly thank you Great Fairy of Magic. Thank you for your guidence." Garen thanked and turned to leave.
"Farewell brave and determined one." She said and faded back into the fountain.
Garen walked out of the cave and back to the Zora's Fountain.

Blade walked into the Zora king's throne room, unchallenged by the guards standing out side. He had used a non-lethal poison on a passing civillian to distract the guards out front, but he would need something else to take care of the guards surrounding Jabu Jabu's fountain. After all, he was their patron deity. He snuck up the ramp,, a task made rather simple by a sleeping King Zora, and saw the usual two guards posted there. He stayed hidden and devised a plan. He summoned Wolfclaw from his blade.
Go down the ramp, and to the other side if the chamber. Then start growling at the king. Blade told him. The white wolfobliged, and walked down the ramp to the other side of the throne room. It growled at the Zora king, and barked at him. The guards ran down the ramp and menaced the wolf with their spears. Blade took advantage of the distraction by sneaking into Jabu Jabu's fountain. The wolf ran out of the throne room, turned a corner, and disappeared. Blade stood and waited for Argoth.

Argoth burst into fountain area sailing through the air with a man's face riding on base of his heel. He hit the ground and coasted on his body while turning to whip a hidden knife into another man. The knife struck him in the neck and he crashed to the floor in a pool of his own blood. Argoth withdrew his blade as five more men rushed in after him. A smile stretched across his face; he loved the thrill of battle. The first man went down as Argoth dodged a slice toward his head and rammed his own blade into his gut. The second enemy was directly behind his recently deceased companion, and Argoth didn't even have time to extract his sword from the man still hanging from it. Argoth maneuvered out of the way of the man's blade and gripped his face with his free hand. He released his assassins blade right into his attacker's eye.
Argoth retracted both of his weapons from the dead men as the next assailant came flying over them, his sword brandished above his head; he was screaming. He moved in and punched the man in the chest before he could descend on him with his blade. There was a loud crunching sound as the man smashed into the floor below him; although he lived. Argoth ignored him and turned to his next aggressor who came sprinting in from his left. He feinted a vertical slash from the man, spun, and removed his sword arm at the shoulder. Screams filled the area as the man fell to his knees clutching his newly made nub. It was bleeding profusely and the man was truning pale quickly. Argoth cleaved his head from his shoulders and immediately turned to his next attacker that charged him from the right.
The man lunged in for a stab but was disappointed as Argoth evaded him. Argoth blurred inward slammed his blade through the sternum of his foe. His opponent went limp on his sword and Argoth gently shoved the man off it. The last and final man staggered to his feet gripping the left side of his ribcage with his right hand. Argoth turned to him, he wiped the warm spattered blood from his enemies off his face and just stared at him. The man growled something under his breath surged toward him; his blade raised in above him with his left hand. Argoth waited until his opponent reached him and casually sidestepped him, but left his foot out. The man tripped and was sent sprawling onto the ground. Argoth finished him by delivering a curb stomp to his head. An extremely loud Crunch! reverberated off the walls as the mans skull caved in. Blood splattered across the floor, covering a wide area around his head.
Bits of skull and brain remained on Argoth's boot and he viciously began to shake it off. It didn't really make a difference as it was drenched in blood. He looked around him and noticed Blade standing not far off from the wreckage of his epic battle. "Oh," Argoth began, eyeing at the carnage around him, "Hey."

"Needed something to do, so I found a large amount of these guys tormenting a some local Zora. Unfortunately there were too many where I was, so I made them chase me as I picked 'em off. They chased me all the way here, and this is where I happend to finish them." Argoth replied smiling.

Azrael had been watching Argoth from a distance as he brutally massacred the guards. He watched with a silent stare, not judgemental in anyway. He pulled his hood over his head and made his way over to the duo, keeping his senses out and making sure the souls of the men who just died safely crossed over to the other side.

A Zora guard stood on either side of Eldrin, each holding a strange fin-like halberd. "C'mon guys! It was just one scale! Lemme go!" He pleaded, pulling at his restraints. His hands were bound by Zora shackles. They were made of blue-green metal, and rimmed with razor sharp fins on the outside. This made it very difficult for him to rest his bound hands against body.
The Zora at his left tightened the shackles. He was smaller than the other, about the same height as Eldrin, with a similar build. Lithe and agile, not particularly weak, but not outstandingly strong. "One scale from Lord Jabu-Jabu! The blasphemy! I would kill you on the spot if the king would allow it." He ranted, his voice shaking with anger.
"But it was so shiny..." Eldrin muttered.
"Be quiet, human. With each word you further incriminate yourself." The Zora to his right said calmly. He had a deep, wise voice. He was visibly much older than the other Zora. He was obviously a fine warrior, and towered over both of them, but not menacingly, almost protectively. Eldrin didn't actually understand how a guard could seem protective to his prisoner, but hardly cared at the moment.
He smiled mischievously at the older Zora, "You know, you never mentioned your name..." He pointed out, suddenly friendly.
"I see little reason to acquaint myself with a prisoner." The Zora replied, but after thinking for a moment he spoke again. "I am Girus. And he is my nephew, Maro."
"Nice to meet you! I'm Eldrin! Thief extraordinaire!" He said proudly. As he spoke he focused heat into the two Zora.
"Eldrin? I've heard that name before!" Maro exclaimed much to Eldrin's delight. "I've heard tell that he's a joke of a thief. Incompetent at even the smallest thefts, with the attention span of a five year old. And then there's his methods-"
"Oh," Eldrin blurted out, cutting the Zora off. "Did I say Eldrin? I meant... Um... Torak?" He said, then added a "Grrr!" to seem more menacing.
Maro burst into laughter, but was quickly silenced by his uncle. "Quiet fool! Show some respect. Were you raised a savage?"
Eldrin raised his hand and bounced up and down. "Ooh ooh! I was!" He yelled, smiling deviously. They would start feeling the affects any minute now...
Girus began to speak but his voice faltered. He stared confused at Eldrin, his vision blurring. Maro dropped his halberd and stumbled, then collapsed beside his weapon. Eldrin laughed as Girus realized what was happening. "Thirsty?" He asked, playfully as the Zora collapsed beside his nephew.
Eldrin started to walk away, but feeling bad, went back and nudged the older Zora into the river. He left Maro where he was, Girus would save him. Plus he didn't like him...
Eldrin walked away, trying desperately to free himself from the Zora shackles as he walked. He was so distracted that he nearly walked straight into Garen. "Hey, you! Garen! You look like a man on a mission! Don't suppose you'd mind helping a friend out?" He suggested, holding out his shackles and giving his most winning smile.

"Why?" Garen asked in a gruff tone. "Isn't about time you serve your sentence... well at least part of it. We need you alive. Besides, I have more pressing matters to attend to. Also, it would be rather humorous to see you in those shackles, striving so hard to break free but haven't the ability. Watching you tumble and twist as you vigorously and hilariously attempt to free your hands from their metal binding. AH HA HA HA!" Garen jeered. His laughter faded. "If you want your freedom, do what a theif would do, steal the keys. However, those thieves don't get detected. I am unsure on how you would fare. If you want your freedom, steal it. Prove to them that you ARE a master thief." Garen suggested in a proud voice.

Eldrin twitched slightly at the suggestion that he may not be the great thief that he fancied himself to be. "I'll have you know that they fed the key to that giant fish thing! I can't go in there. I'm not even wearing a green hat..." He said, pulling at the shackles desperately. "BUT!!! You mentioned that you have pressing matters to attend to. And I have found that all endeavors in life can be enhanced by a skilled thief. Gimme something to do! I'll prove that I'm worthy, with these shackles on, and without using my fire." He announced, eager to prove his proficiency as a thief. There were few things he was passionate about, and being a master thief was one of them.

"HI TORAK!!!" Eldrin yelled at the sound of the Assassin's voice, obviously not having listened to the previous comment. "Sooo.... Who ya killin' today? Can I loot the corpse?" He asked, not specifically looking anywhere. He didn't even bother pretending that he knew where Torak was.

"Alright, Eldrin. You want to prove your skill in thieving? Loot every corpse here. Search every pocket and pouch. The total amount of loot you find has to fit in both of your hands. You cannot spill them." Garen ordered. "If you succeed, I'll cut you out of those shackles. If you fail, you have to spend another day with your hands together. Hey, you wanted something to do. There it is."

"And to make things even more interesting...The guards have been notified of you knocking out two of their own...you have less than 5 minutes to complete the task." Torak said, stepping out of the shadows and next to Garen.
