Blade turned to "Iona" and looked her over, she looked and sounded right, but without the smell of her perfume, he couldn't be sure if it was really Iona. He pointed one of his daggers at her, driving the other into the face of a zombie.
"You look and sound just like Iona." He said. He thought about the situation for a moment. Having Iona around would be a big help as far as the zombies were concerned. "I'll let you be Iona for now." He said. "But if you're not Iona. I'll kill ya right here." Blade turned to the scentless horde, and rolled his shoulders.
He ran toward the zombies, transforming his blades into hookswords. When he met them, he shoved his right blade into a zombie's face, and slashed at them with his left. He kept running forward, and managed to get three zombies stuck on his right blade before he ran out of room. Saddened that he was out of room, he kicked the three off and the final one into the horde. The impact knocked over and splintered them, taking them out effectively. The normal Blade would have stuck with this attack pattern for a while, but not this Blade. This Blade hooked the next corpse he saw and tore it apart with his blades. This Blade enjoyed doing that, and turned his swords so the hooks pointed outward. He drove the hook down into a undead's head, pulling it down so he could hook the one behind it. Then he used them to bash into the other corpses until the hooked zombies were nothing more than purple masses of flesh. He got rid of them by slamming them into ground, breaking their rotten rib cages apart. He hooked another corpse in the crotch and lifted it up, bringing it down hard enough to splatter both the hooked zombie and the zombie it hit. He turned and... nothing he was out of zombies for now. "Come on, that can't be all of you!" He called. As if to answer, a horrible screech sounded. "Good, good." He said, taking a moment to lick the purple blood from one of his blades.
Bad idea. He vomited again and looked at his swords with disgust. He turned them back into daggers and put them back in their sheaths. The horde approached. In the back of his mind he thought: I'll clean the puke with your blood.
Blade ran at them and swung at one with his claws, cutting it apart. His momentum carried him through to the next one. He pushed his hands forward and impaled it on his arms. He pulled his arms outward, tearing it apart again. He slashed at the arm of another corpse, taking its arm. He caught it before it hit the ground and finished the zombie with it. He turned and threw the arm at another zombie's head, causing it to tip back and fall over. Blade jumped at the next one, it was a straggler that was easily torn apart by his claws.
He leapt at another one, kicking it in the head. As it fell he turned and finshed the next one by punching into its open mouth. The skull came free of the corpse, but stayed stuck on Blade's hand. He plucked it off like an apple and kicked it into another zombie's stomach. He elbowed the next one in the chest before running his hand through it's head. The gore ran over his fingers, warm purple blood dripping up his arm. He yanked his hand out and dove into another group of about five. He dispatched the first three quickly by either slicing their torsos apart or bashing their heads in. The fourth was special, he wrapped his other hand around his fist and brought it down, forcing the corpse's head into its own torso. He turned the final one and started slashing it. They were shallow slashes, sending a lot of blood and bits of flesh flying about. Through the slashes, Blade worked his way through the zombie until the final slash cut its spine. With nothing to hold it together, it became so much purple mist as it fell.

Thell was littering the ground with purple blood when she suddenly encountered the very person she was calling. Kadina was beginning to question why they were there, and Thell sighed in frustration as she stabbed at a zombie's neck with the spike on the bottom of her axe before swinging at a second zombie, tearing off the first head by sheer force and slicing off the second. "I thought we were here to kill one guy who wanted to kill me," Thell offered.
"But she underestimated the problem," Vandir informed Kadina through a mouthful of flesh before spitting it out to finish his statement, "as usual."
Thell narrowed her eyes at the interruption. She had been about to mention the nursery, but Vandir liked to remind Thell of all her flaws. Wait a minute... why was he with her? He was supposed to be back with Skah. "Oi! Why aren't you with Skah?"
"He was muttering stuff in his sleep that I thought you would deem important before you go to find the source," Vandir shouted back.
"That man doesn't shut his trap! Fine, what is it?" Thell complained in frustration as she continued to dice the zombies around her. Unlike her companions, she couldn't find a more flashy way to use her axe at the moment besides beheading and slicing the corpses in half. Though she discovered the spike on the butt of the axe was perfect for skewing their eyeballs.
"The guardians must die first. Or something like that." Thell groaned. If Skah knew she had run out to get Kadina to kill the source, then that must mean they couldn't burn the source unless the guardians were killed. But Kadina couldn't be in two places at once to burn both, and none of them had any magical fire or sparks to go round.
"Great! Just great! Let's get everyone to the nursery. We'll talk there. Go get Blade, will you?" Thell asked her wooden dragon.
"Do you want me to get the crazy woman next to him using electricity magic?" Vandir asked, cocking his head to one side. Thell's eyes widened and she whirled, axe still in hand and effectively chopping off three zombie heads with that one motion. Sure enough, a wild looking woman was fighting the zombies. And she had electricity magic! This was perfect!
"Yes! A thousand times yes! Get them both to the nursery!" Thell shouted before turning to get Eldrin. He had arrived at her side, oddly enough, but she spotted an older man with a very young boy killing the corpses with ease, approaching them quickly. In a split second, she was surrounded by more people then she had come to the village with. Where were all these people coming from? "Okay... I officially no longer care. Kadina, Eldrin, we're going to a nursery that the zombies refuse to enter. Uh... strange guy and small child, you too." There, she'd made her intentions clear. With that, she headed for the building from before, clearing a path with her axe.
Vandir flew on his wooden wings to where Blade was, though it was very difficult at first since zombies were coming from every direction and everything was starting to look purple. Aha! Success! Vandir dove, pulling up just before he could crash into the man's head.
"Blade and... m'lady," Vandir managed to shout, though he was unsure how else to address the woman fighting near Blade in a polite fashion. "There is a room where the zombies cannot enter, if you wish to follow me there? Thell... I could be very wrong, but I believe she has a plan." In a rush, Vandir turned and began to fly just above the zombies towards the building, occasionally having to bite off a hand. Luckily, Vandir didn't have a stomach or sense of taste, otherwise he might've vomited just like the rest of the group seemed to be doing.

Iona paused, turned to Blade, then fixed it all by dropping her chainblade and pulling her cheeks away from her teeth and letting her tongue hang, baring her front teeth in Blade's face, dodging corpses and his sword. "You see, my dear grasshopper," she told him in a didactic tone, "there couldn't possibly have been precisely four biscuits because there were ten raccoons atop my caviar at the time that Ganon farted during the evil reign of Monday. Therefore the Kokiri are overgrown squirrels and the Zoras came from cucoos and exactly eight cakes consists of the universe and hate waltzing and....wurzlabooffregabach," she said and leaned in close, gnashing her teeth hard twice near his ear.
Done speaking her mind, Iona grabbed her chainblade and bore her teeth at the close proximity countless of zombies. She lifted the chained scimitar at them and gave a long, wild war cry.
She jumped high in the air and brought the spinning chainblade down on the masses, landing on two undeads and letting her feet sink deep into their rotting bodies. She spun her chainblade overhead a good while, letting the zombies get close once more, deftly switching hands and keep her eyes on them the whole time. She added electricity, her hands nor wrist moving anymore as the sword and chain screamed over her head. She brought it down, inevitably being caught up in its powerful velocity and headed towards the huge congregation of moving lukewarm maggot houses.
In less than thirty seconds she cleared off a large number of the undeads, but it hardly dented their massive numbers. After countless of revolutions, was thrown back at Blade by the unbelievable dying acceleration, landing hard in the zombie carnage at Blade's feet, laughing and giggling, a huge grin splayed across her face.
"Hiiiiii," she sang to Vandir, not listening to him, too busy kicking her feet and laughing too hard. "Hey, hey," she told him as he barreled on through his message, I'm sorry to say this...but you're a big fly! Bahahahaha!!" She burst out laughing again then waved as the strange thing flew away, biting a corpse's hand. "Take care, bye bye now!"
She stared up at Blade as he continued to feet, ignoring the various body parts falling on her. "What did he say?" she murmured, then shook her head. "Hey Blade...can I has up?" she asked, holding an arm out to be helped up.

Eldrin took advantage of the distraction made by Argoth and Max's slaughterfest, and searched around for his lost dagger. He crawled on his hands and knees through the carnage, turning over corpses and examining them. Last he'd seen of his dagger, it was stuck in some zombie's eye. Of course, that was before his little episode and subsequent rescue... So he had no idea where it could have gotten to by now. "Aha!" Eldrin cried, reaching for a hilt protruding from a zombie's face. He eagerly pulled it out, only to be disappointed to see that it was just one of his throwing knives.
Suddenly, a zombie threw itself upon the thief. Eldrin struggled against the corpse frantically. He aimed a stab for its face, but found no face to stab. It seemed this particular maggot hive had survived a painful blow to its face. Its left arm was missing and its right leg was hanging on by skin only. Eldrin grabbed what was left of its head and, putting his feet on its shoulders for leverage, ripped it off of its neck. The zombie's body fell limp, purple blood squirting from its gaping neck.
Eldrin tossed the head aside, but it was immediately replaced. Another decapitated head (one of Argoth's victims, no doubt) had flown through the air and landed perfectly in the thief's open hands. This head had a steel dagger protruding from the right eye. "Well... That was convenient..." Eldrin commented, yanking his dagger out. The eyeball came out with it, still impaled upon the blade. The thief just shrugged, flicked it off, and wiped away the purple blood. He sheathed his dagger and tucked the throwing knife into the back of his belt.
"Eldrin make a run for it! We'll meet up with you in a second!" Maximus yelled over the din of battle.
Eldrin looked up to see that he and Argoth had created a huge gap in the zombie horde, Kadina and Thell were both on the other side. He jumped up to make a run for it, but was instantly knocked back down by crippling dizziness and pain from his left ear. After letting it settle down for a minute, Eldrin stood up again. This time he was slower about it, and managed to successfully stand. Still though, he couldn't exactly run to the others in this state. He grinned with a wickedly stupid idea.
The thief grabbed a zombie by the arms and put his foot to its chest. With a grunt he tore the arms off, simultaneously knocking the corpse to the ground. He then placed his foot in the zombie's crotch and grabbed its legs. He tossed these aside after he'd ripped them off, and picked up the zombie's limbless torso. It was still very much alive, but Eldrin didn't seem to care.
The thief ran forward and jumped, shifting the zombie so that he'd land on it. The thief slid across the blood-slicked ground upon his undead sled, laughing hysterically as he passed Max and Argoth. He slid all the way through the gap, coming to a stop in front of Kadina and Thell. After taking a moment to let his head stop spinning, he put the zombie out of its misery with a downward punch. He rose to his feet and stood next to Thell just as she turned to get him. "Hello sweetheart," he greeted her with a playful smirk.
"Okay... I officially no longer care. Kadina, Eldrin, we're going to a nursery that the zombies refuse to enter. Uh... strange guy and small child, you too."
Eldrin turned back to Argoth and Max, offering a shrug and a wink. "That one's Thell..." He made to follow Thell, but his head reacted badly to the sudden turn. He stumbled a little and waited for stability. He noticed Kadina and smirked, looking her up and down. "Never looked prettier!" he joked. Of course, he had no idea that he was in no position to make fun of her. Even disregarding his scar, he looked (quite frankly) like shit. His face was covered in both purple zombie blood and his own red blood. He had a crescent shaped gash just under his right eye, a cut on his right temple, one across the bridge of his nose (crisscrossing his scar), and yet another running vertically next to the right edge of his mouth. His right eye was constantly being blinded by the blood running down from his temple, and his left was covered by a black eye. His hair was matted down in certain spots by blood, and sticking up where it wasn't.
Oblivious to his appearance, Eldrin punched Kadina affectionately in the shoulder and ran off after Thell.

Kadina's face lit up at the sight of Argoth and Max. She counted her blessings for their assistance and probably had them to thank for not being eaten alive yet. She could tell they must have been enjoying themselves. What assassin wouldn't in this situation? Despite there being no pay... Just the reward of living another day. Hopefully.
Flashes of electricity flickered across the way. Kadina turned to look and saw Iona's chain blade whipping through the air. Then Eldrin came surfing through the blood and guts atop a zombie. Kadina's face couldn't glow any brighter from all these events. Her friends were the best! They might actually stand a fighting chance now. Especially if Thell had a plan.
Vandir scurried away to retrieve Iona and Blade, and Eldrin dismounted his zombie board. Kadina laughed at him as he lost his balance, but he returned the mockery with a sarcastic compliment. She was in too good of a mood to take it personally, but then again, she rarely ever took anything Eldrin said personally. After assuring her he was joking with the usual punch to the arm, he took off after Thell. Kadina took a moment to wipe some of the blood from her face and arms then smoothed her hair down. After deciding it was pointless and hopeless, she jostled her hair back into a ratted mess and ran after the others with an unusual giddiness that stirred the electric current inside of her.

Blade stood and took in every word on Iona's babbling. Many people could string words together in that manner, but none could do it in combat with the same poise as Iona. "So Iona is here." Blade said as she left, turning and uppercutting the head right off of a zombie. He killed several more by the time she was back at his feet, and Vandir and shown up. He listened to Vandir as well before the tiny wooden dragon flew away. A wave of realization swept over him.
"Hey, hey, that was one of Thell's things. That's her wood power." He said, helping Iona to her feet. He grabbed her by the shoulders and shook her. "That means the others are here too, Kadina and Eldrin are definitely here. They would never let themselves be replaced." He said quickly, shaking his head. "Neither would you, sorry about that. But that means my friends are here, endangered by these things." He explained more to himself than Iona, pausing to stomp the head of a zombie crawling toward him. "These things are harming my friends. That's, that's..."
"THAT'S BULLSHIT!" He roared, jumping clear of Iona and the zombies closing around her. He came down hard on a new batch of zombies that surrounded Thell and the others. He took off like an arrow toward them, driving his claws through the first one that got in front of him. He turned and swept a zombie's legs. He straightened up and drove his foot through its spine. He turned around again to deliver a skull-caving punch to a third corpse. The one directly behind it charged at Blade and grabbed his shoulders. Blade responded by grabbing its shoulders, and then tearing its arms off. Blade jumped and kicked a fifth zombie's head from its shoulders before leaping over the horde.
He aligned himself to fall fist-first into a zombie, the sixth zombie tore apart from the impact, which he turned into handspring that vaulted him over the horde again. He came down again, splitting a seventh zombie down the middle with his bare hand. He turned to deliver a kick powerful enough to separate his eighth zombie's torso form its legs. A ninth stepped forward, and Blade decapitated it with a back-handed strike. He charged toward the tenth, grabbing its head, he jumped over the zombie, and pulled its head and spine out. He twisted horizontally before throwing the head into the crowd, probably taking the head off his eleventh. Blade gouged out the left side of his twelfth zombie before doing a full turn and kicking it apart with his heel. More of the zombies gathered around, three of them physically grabbed him, digging into his clothing and flesh. He pushed off the ground with all his might, spinning around and taking zombie arms with him. He ran foward, dodged a wild swing from the first zombie he met, and responded with a knee to its stomach. He jumped at the next one, stomping it into the ground before taking off toward the third. He ripped off its arm and beat it to the death with it before turning back to the others and charging between two stragglers. He sliced them apart without missing a step before vaulting over the entire horde back to the others.
"I lost count." He complained. "So I got bored and came back."

"Okay... I officially no longer care. Kadina, Eldrin, we're going to a nursery that the zombies refuse to enter. Uh... strange guy and small child, you too."
Argoth and Max looked at each other and chuckled a bit, then Eldrin filled them in on who she was. "To the nursery it is," Argoth announced, making his way toward the place. Max followed close behind occupied with wiping all of the purple ooze that was on his face and arms onto his clothes. The zombie horde was lagging a bit behind because of the utter carnage that Iona, but more specifically Blade, had reigned down on them. It was a complete bloodbath back there, and Argoth was a little sad he missed out. The two of them would get their chance to fight together soon, the zombies seemed to be never ending. Max and Argoth followed Rii into the Nursery and Max piped up, "I wonder why they don't come in here?" What do we do now?"

The young boy's question echoed Thell's own thoughts. It's not like zombies would think a nursery was sacred or anything of the sort, but she let it be. There were more important things at hand. "That I don't know. I do know that magically burning the giant... sacks means the undead no longer spawn from there. That means enchanted bombs, magical electricity that starts a fire... anything like that. Unfortunately, I have to take Kadina on a little quest away from you guys, but if all goes well, we can stop these things everywhere. The only issue that remains are the Guardians... I don't know what they____"
Suddenly Thell was interrupted by a terrible howling coming from above, perhaps from the roof of one of the buildings. It sounded like a wolf mixed with something dead yet still in utter pain. The moans and bellows of the zombies outside quieted, and Thell rushed to a window.
She found herself staring at four creatures that appeared to be humanoids, though they looked like purple, leather skin stretched over horrid muscles pressed tight to sharp angles and bones. They were six feet in height, with long pointed ears and empty black eyes. Claws ripped out of their fingers, and three inch fangs stuck out from their lipless mouths.
Upon their arrival, Thell noted that all the zombies were looking at them, and when one stepped forward and spread a clawed hand, a chunk of the zombies broke off from the group and began to wander towards the edge of the town.
Quicker than lightning, three of the creatures dropped to the ground, landing on all fours. Humanoid they may have looked like ever so slightly, but humanoid they were not. Their elbows and knees bent backwards as they crawled around on the ground, scenting things and tasting others. Then the three stood and looked over at the one atop the building. It seemed to be the leader. It hissed something at the three and nodded. It stayed where it was while the other three went out to the zombies, seemingly talking to them. Every once and a while, though, Thell swore the empty eyes were looking straight into the nursery.
"And... there they are," Thell muttered, turning back around to take in the status of the group. Speaking of the group... her eyes fell on Max and Argoth and Thell realized she had no idea who they were.
"I guess I should've said 'hi' before I tried to explain all the details. Uh... Thell," she offered, putting out a hand for Argoth.

Argoth smiled at Thell and grasped her hand in his, "Argoth," pleasure to meet you Thell." Since Thell's hand was occupied Max decided to skip straight to a hug and wrapped his little boy arms around her. "Nice to meet you Thell!" Max greeted with vigor. Argoth shook his head and placed a hand over the top the boys, "This is Max, my pupil. He's a little shit but he's got a heart of gold." Argoth let go of her hand and Max let go of her waist. Just as the greeting was over both assassins heard the soul ripping shriek of something menacing outside the nursery. Excitement immediately arose in the depths of Argoth's stomach. Whatever the hell was out there, it was powerful. He didn't know how he knew it, he just did. Some sort of feeling that accompanied his rush for battle maybe. "Wanna tell me what that is before I go and kill it?" Argoth asked with a smile.

Eldrin took the moment of peace and quiet to finally rest. He seated himself in a chair a bit behind the others and, placing his elbows on his knees, buried his face into his hands. The darkness was soothing to his head, and for a little while, the pounding in his head slowed to a mere thumping. He almost felt removed from the world itself. The zombies, the nursery, Nolna itself, even his friends, it all faded. Then suddenly, after what seemed like a lifetime, he could hear Max and Thell speaking off in the distance. Thell was saying something about burning the zombie cocoons with magical fire. Magical fire.
Eldrin lifted his head and opened his eyes. The world seemed to churn and shift, the room twisting and turning. Slowly, his vision stabilized, and he saw that his friends were right in front of him. Right where he'd left them... Thell was introducing herself to Argoth, and Max had already proceeded to the hugging stage. Then Argoth pointed out the new, uglier version of the zombies.
Eldrin stood up slowly, making sure not to stir up his head. "These Guardians... They can be killed the old fashioned way, right? No need for fancy flames or the like?" The thief unsheathed his dagger and held it in a backhanded grip in his right hand, dual-wielding it with Avarice on his left. He might be a little incapacitated right now... but that was no excuse not to go kick some rotting maggot sack's asses...

Thell did not expect a small child to be hugging her, but she attempted to brush it off. She was not much of a 'mom' or 'big sister' type. The handshake, however, she could do, and by then she knew both their names.
"As far as I can figure out from what Skah told me you can practically kill the Guardians the old fashioned way, they just die... faster through burning. But, you know, you've got the, uh... electricity woman who is still outside who can do that," Thell explained, gesturing outside to where she swore she could still see strings of electricity crackling through the undead crowd.
"Kadina, hopefully you're coming with Thell and I? And you two seem in good condition," Vandir observed, nodding to Argoth and his pupil. "But don't you think you should get that ear looked at? Or bandaged? If you weren't sure it is bleeding." And at that Vandir turned to the mischievous thief.
Thell frowned, fully aware she was not the best at healing. Her ability stopped at wrapping cloth around openings that oozed blood. Speaking of which, she probably should fetch her slim stores of bandages to wrap around her left arm, which was being covered in twisting blood rivers. Infection, poisons, possible deafness, and the like were out of her realm. Rii was good for that, though there was no way to summon the fish woman.

Kadina was exploring the nursery when the strange howl sounded. She walked over to stand beside Thell and look out the window at the repulsive creatures.
Eerie. What a haunting image. Yet, as disturbing as it was, Kadina wasn't intimidated. All the zombie slaughter had made her feel invincible. She wondered if they would smell her and her friends. She pondered their strength and their agility.
"Kadina, hopefully you're coming with Thell and I?
"Yeah... let's go." She was ready, but wasn't quite sure how this would all come together. Kadina then looked around the room at the group before following Thell out. "Not that I really have to say this, but kick those things' ass." She winked and exited the room to wherever Thell was taking her.
Kadina wondered if the others knew about her electrical problem besides just being shocked by her a time or two. She hadn't had the chance to explain what had happened by the river with Luca. Maybe, if they all got out of this alive, she would explain. The anticipation stirred the current in her veins and sparked at her finger tips.

Blade still seemed annoyed by the loss of his sense of smell, and he'd been quiet throughout all the strategizing the others had been doing. Even his keen tactical mind couldn't work through such a difficult disability at the drop of a hat. However, he still retained the one thing he'd gained since the loss of his smell: A desire to create mayhem. Even though the mayhem had been created already, he could still feed it. He called after Thell and Kadina. "If your plan doesn't work, go ahead and call me. I've got ten claws that'll do the job practically." He joked with a growl.
With that, Blade turned back to the horde and started looking around. For some reason, he really wanted to drop something heavy on them and watch them go splat. Blade looked up and grinned. He jumped into the trees and started cutting branches off of them. Not really heavy enough for him, but the zombies were weak. The thick rotting branches were more than enough to satisfy his desire to crush maggot sacks. He sat on the top of a branch he hadn't cut and laughed a little, kicking his legs back and forth like a small child.

Thell grinned. "Alright, we're off to kill the source... Kill lots and prosper!" Right, she needed to sound more confident. She got most of the people present into this mess, so she'd be damned if she didn't take responsibility and try and be assured in what she was doing. You did not lead a bunch of people into a ransacked village full of undead people unless you could handle it.
At least, that's what Thell was telling herself. She could handle it. She could handle it. She could handle it.
Hm, the internal rant seemed to be working. "Are you sure we can handle this?" Vandir asked as Thell sped out of the room, dodging corpses on the ground oozing purple blood and slicing those that still walked.
Great, now Vandir was throwing in 'we'. She was forcing herself to believe that she could do it and now Vandir wanted to know her opinion on the entire group? "Yes. Shut up and... distract that one!" she snapped as softly as possible, spotting a Guardian out of the corner of her one good eye that was turning its head to look at the two running girls and the wooden dragon.
His glowing green eyes seemed to widen at that order. "How so?" he asked, analyzing the creature as it fell forward, elbows and knees bent outward as its front claws caught it, neck seemingly lengthening as it stretched its head low to glare at Thell and Kadina.
"Uhm... You know what... keep an eye on it, wait until the forest, then figure it out." Vandir did not seem to appreciate her vague answer, but he took it.
"Fine. But that wall of zombies will not wait until then," he pointed out, and Thell whipped her one-eyed gaze around to find that the chunk of zombies that had split from the main horde earlier were gathering around the town exit that was near the forest.
"Uh... you take the ones on the right, Kadina?"
On the other edge of the town, a scaly woman was approaching, lightly prancing through the grass and curiously eying the diseased buildings that she was approaching. "I thought I sensed something sickly... but this is... beautifully disastrous," she murmured, eyes wide and a soft smile on her face as she approached. "And this blood smell... I recognize two... but there is... rotten blood as well?"
She tried not to get distracted by the unique blood, instead focusing on the blood she recognized. There were several humanoid blood types, but the other two... "Kadina... and Eldrin!" Rii giggled in spite of the disaster area she was entering. Wherever Eldrin went laughter and adventure was sure to follow, and now was the perfect opportunity for her to discuss Kadina's... condition.

Kadina turned her head to the right and gulped loudly as if to swallow the overwhelming responsibility just presently assigned to her. She certainly had no other option.
"It would be my pleasure," She said with a crooked smirk. She would have appreciated if Vandir were about five times larger to aid them in their task, but his fascinating structure, intelligence, and remarkable manners were still pretty satisfactory. Even if such characteristics didn't assist in mauling a horde of zombies. That just meant more fun for her.
The pack was dense. It was at least a good couple dozen on the right. If she could master her charge, she would just pulverize the entire pack with a single whip of lightening. But her little dagger would have to suffice.
Kadina charged the horde and grabbed a zombie by the collar of its tattered and decaying shirt. She yanked it off its feet and whirled it behind her before grabbing another and flipping it over her shoulder by the wrist directly ontop of the previous one. While stacked on top of each other, she stabbed her dagger through their heads killing two birds with one stone while also keeping distance between her and the rest of the horde. However, they were advancing.
The last thing Kadina wanted was to let herself get surrounded. Her hand-to-hand combat wouldn't survive these numbers. Thinking on her feet, she cut a vine from the nearest tree and tied her dagger to the end of it like a swinging blade. "Eh... it'll do." She grinned brilliantly as she swung it around to test the knot. The dagger was secure.
Kadina began swinging her make-shift "chain" blade above her head in large circles. She inched closer and closer toward the horde as they drew near. The motion of the vine created a pulse like sound of manipulated wind propelling above her. The blade sliced through giant gusts. It made her antsy with anticipation.
Suddenly... there was contact. And dear goddesses was it satisfying. Glorious, even. The zombies on the front line were all instantly decapitated. Purple blood spewed out into the air like a shaken bottle of champagne. Like fireworks, when you consider the pretty color.
Kadina giggled maniacally with giddiness. What started off as an evil, yet justified, "Mua ha ha," evolved into a tiny gremlin-like snicker. She pulled the dagger back toward her and got it rotating again.
This would work. Not just for getting rid of the zombies, but also for keeping her entertained. Everyone knows that Kadina and boredom have never mixed well. The two just aren't acquainted.
