Demon Max kept his grin as Dag continued to approach him. The resilience of Dag impressed him, however, he was still outclassed in every aspect. Dag took his sweet time, slowly walking toward Demon Max while his armor regenerated. No matter, Max's demon loved fighting, even if his opponent wasn't much of a challenge. He had hoped by allowing him to regain his armor that it might be more difficult, but he doubted it. As Dag regenerated his armor he made some adjustments. His entire body bulked up about three times the size it was, effectively making him three feet taller and a hell of a lot bigger(in the sense that his arms legs and torso are all huge). Blades formed on his forearms that curved up his elbow and to his shoulders. Small spikes grew on his knuckles and along his spine.
Demon Max knew what Dag was doing. It was a classic trick: size yourself up to try and intimidate your enemy. Whatever parts of his body were still transformed from the previous battle Demon Max let return to normal. He crossed his arms and smiled at the new additions Dag had put on to scare him. Dag was now about nine feet tall and outrageously large. Demon Max looked like a mere ant compared to him. When Dag had finally reached him he stopped and looked down at Max. A visor formed and lifted up to reveal Dag's human face, however, just by looking at it Max could tell Dag was no longer there. He was most definitely not riding shotgun like himself either, because when Dag spoke Max could tell it was not of this world. "You would be wise to surrender, worm." Its voice was a low growl.
"I would suggest a different tone before I get angry. Demon Max rumbled. The expression on Dag's face was priceless. He reached down and hoisted Max up by the collar, placing him inches from his face.
"You dare insult me! I could destroy you if I so desired!"
Demon Max was unphased by the sudden lift up to Dag's face, and his expression showed it.
"Petty demon. You do not know the true meaning of power. Allow me to show you."
Before the demon inside Dag could respond Demon Max shoved an enormous blade through Dag's chest. The lesser demon hissed inward and coughed outward, flecks of blood spattering Max's still unimpressed face. Again, before Dag could react Demon Max latched onto his throat with a hulking stone hand. He was squeezing so hard the chitinous armor Dag had reinforced cracked like eggshells underneath the pressure. "The only reason you live is because I allow it." Demon Max tightened his grip and Dag fell to his knees. More of his armor chipped and fell away. "Our first fight was mere child's play. I will no longer withhold my power."
And without hesitation Demon Max tore his blade arm out the side of Dag's chest and cleaved his right arm off. He let go of Dag's throat and descended to the ground. With the other arm Dag propped himself up as he fell to all fours, bleeding profusely from both of his new wounds. He began hacking globs of blood onto the ground while Demon Max just stared, unamused. The young possessed assassin raised his gargantuan stone fist and slammed it into Dag's temple, sending him rocketing into Faro's side of the battlefield. As Dag flew he collided with a few of the thralls, obliterating them with his shear size and momentum. When he hit the ground he rolled several times before skidding to a stop just before the cliffs edge. Demon Max nonchalantly walked through the chaos of Faro's battle, grabbing a thrall by the ankle as he walked by and whipping him off the mountain edge. When he reached Dag he placed a massive stone boot on what was left of his torso. He leaned in real close and said quietly, "You would be wise to surrender, worm." A grin crept across his face and in one fluid motion he curb stomped Dag's head over the edge of the cliff. His head snapped backward, slammed against the side of the mountain and then hung limp. The snap of Dag's neck resounded through the battlefield and the rest of his body stopped moving as well.
Demon Max stared at Dag's lifeless corpse for a few moments before turning in Hans'direction. He tilted his head to the side and with a menacing smile said, "You're next."
