(Where?! Why can't I spell lately?! *crawls into a corner and cries*)
Eldrin smiled as Sarvonna sighed. "Truth is... I don't actually know..."
Sarvonna glared at him, of course, it looked more like a blank stare than a glare. "And I'm suppose to believe you?"
"Have I ever lied to you before?"
"Almost ever time we've spoken."
"But I'm not now! Why would I have tried to steal that," He gestured to the boxes on the table, "If I had the timepiece in my back pocket?"
"I try my hardest to not attempt understanding you." Sarvonna commented.
"Good plan..." Eldrin said, patting the man on the shoulder. Sarvonna made a grab for his arm, but Eldrin moved away barely in time. "I chased down that 'Father' guy. But some shadowy agent killed him and took the timepiece first. So I figured I'd steal that and go find it."
"Which box is the real one, Eldrin?" Sarvonna asked.
"Middle one..."
Sarvonna reached for the middle one, and after searching for a moment, found it. He picked it up and unwrapped the cloth and string. The blind man opened the box and pulled out something he could not recognize... Something with an unfamiliar shape. "What is this? It certainly isn't what you stole."
"Well, actually... I did steal it... You see, I really think you're kind of lost. It's like your mother never taught you any manners. But I know she did... Great lady that she was... So I figured I'd give you a reminder of your dear departed mother... Let you touch her face again..."
