Kadina stumbled drunkenly over her own feet as Max led her to Icylius.
"This is Icylius. He doesn't like people."
"Good thing most everyone around here aren't just people. You'd be surprised what you're actually talking to sometimes. Me, on the other hand, I'm just out of luck. Human through and through. But I'm sure we can find a way to get along," She smiled, "Nice to meet you." Kadina would have shook his hand enthusiastically as always but took heed of Max's whispered warning. She didn't want to make the stranger feel uncomfortable, and out of respect for Max's friend, she kept her eyes locked on his as not to search for valuable items she could steal.
Max was suddenly running off and Kadina was all ears at the mention of a drinking contest. She knew she had reached her limit with alcohol for the evening, but was curious to know what the prize would be. "Excuse me for just a min--" She waved a drunken finger in the air before trailing off in words and stumbling away to join Eldrin at the bar.
What a horrible first impression... she thought poorly about herself as she propped her chin up by her hand while Eldrin negotiated.
"I'm sure my friend here would be happy to reward you if you won."
Kadina waved flirtatiously and winked. She didn't need to know what he meant by "reward." She knew exactly what Eldrin was talking about, and being drunk, she couldn't contain her giggles at the thought of their devious hoodwink.
The man declined their offer and began requesting drinks for the goat. Kadina's brow lifted as she dazedly watched the goat down its beverage. Damn... forget the bell. I want the goat. This could definitely work to our advantage...
She slapped the bar a couple times signaling for another drink. Once presented to her, she stretched across Eldrin and clinked her mug to one of Noodles glasses. "Cheers!" She turned to smile at Eldrin knowing he'd catch on then chugged her rum accidentally sloshing some in Eldrin's lap. "Oops..." A sorry expression occupied her face, but starring at Eldrin and knowing he couldn't possibly be mad at her, she burst into another giggle fit.
