Mathayus swatted Mike in the back of the head with a very puzzled look on his face. The guards had already passed, nobody had noticed they were even there. He shook his head at him in the 'what the hell?' sense, and stood up to join Eldrin.

Eldrin look immensely disappointed as the guards passed. He had been hopeful for a fight. He glanced strangely at a pile of crates across the courtyard. "Well... That's very interesting..." He thought.
The guard answered Mike's question, his voice barely audible from fear at this strange power, "I-I don't know! Makzo, the man your friend killed, had just been meeting with them, he said they were eating, but not where."
Eldrin nudged Mathayus's arm. "I sense body heat over there," He whispered, nodding at the crates. "Last time I checked guards don't hide behind crates unless they're sleeping. And the level of body heat is to high for someone asleep... Looks like someone else felt like breaking into Hyrule Castle on this lovely night."
(Yep, if you were wondering, that was indeed an opening for Azrael to contact Makzo's departed soul. Of course, it will be interesting trying to get info from him...)

Mathayus nodded, "No time." he murmerd, and gestured to the guards who had just passed. For some reason, one of them had stopped and turned back around, double taking on Eldrin and Mathayus. The guard spoke something to the others and they all headed straight back toward them.
(Hey, one of you two create a conflict and dispatch the guards or something, just leave one for me. I dont have time to finish)

"It don' think we're going to get anything else of a low rank cowardly guard who needs to change his pants." Mike told the others quickly. With no time to think about how to dispose him, Mike merely knocked the guard out for the time and decide what to do with him later. With quick reflex, he pulled out two shuriken and threw them at the incoming hostles. The ninja stars cut through the armor like a chainsaw through a tomato. Two of the guards fell dead and their armor made a soft clunk when they hit the ground. Mike took of the armor he donned only a few minutes ago. "Whoever this enemy is, they need better armor. This stuff just makes me more vulnerable to damage." He thought.

(OMG!!! LMFAO!!! "The ninja star cut through the armor like a chainsaw through a tomato." Funniest phrase ever Mike!)
Eldrin didn't even move as a guard charged at him. At the last moment he drew his sword and ran the man through. "Your quite hasty aren't you? You should figure your opponent out before attacking... it could've saved your life," The blade of the sword melted and fell with a splatter as he spoke. He smiled at the guard in the man's last moments, then let him fall. After incinerating this newest corpse he turned his attention back to the crates.

"I sense someone has just departed from our world...Perhaps they know more..."Azrael took a deep breath and closed his eyes, just as he was about to contact the spirit world. All of a sudden, a couple of ninja stars destroyed the crate above Azrael's head. His eyes grew to the size of dinner plates as he instinctivly fell to the ground to dodge the stars, he gripped his blade and leapt high above and landed behind the group. He could sense their spirits and quickly recognized a few of them. "Mike...be careful of who you throw those stars at."Azrael cooly said as he straightened up and rested his blade on his shoulders.

(That wasn't sarcasm! I seriously found that funny! ;D)
"I knew it!" Eldrin yelled a little too loudly. "Well... I didn't know it was Azrael... But I knew someone was there." He said, making a funny face at the back of Mathayus's head.

Mathayus ignored Eldrin and turned to face Azrael, "You. Are you here to help us or not?"
The door to Argoth's cell opened, and Cassus and Xeros returned. Cassus stalked up to Argoth and smacked him across the face, "Ready to talk yet tough guy." Argoth looked up at Cassus, his breath reeked of alcohol and meat. He had bits of his last meal all the front of his shirt and the corners of his mouth. "Is that alcohol Cas? It isn't too bright to come down here drunk, you aren't gonna get much done. I thought you were smarter than that Cas." Argoth chuckled. Cassus growled and punched Argoth in the gut. "You know, you really should leave the hitting to the big guy, or we might be here a while." Cassus was furious, he grabbed Argoth by the throat, which at that point Xeros calmly stepped in and said in a dumb baritone voice, "Uhh, boss, we need him to talk remember?" Cassus released Argoth with a shove, making him swing a bit. "I'm only gonna ask you one time smart ass, where are the refugees hiding?" Cassus snarled, jabbing a finger in Argoth's face. Argoth put on a thinking face, "Hmmmmm, I...can't seem to remember." Argoth smiled. Cassus stood up straight and breathed in heavily, "Fine. Then you are of no more use to us," he turned around and began stomping up the stairs, and without looking back he finished, "Xeros, kill him." A long creepy smile stretched across Xero's face and he nodded in acknowledgment before closing in on his prey.

"Azrael, it is nice that you're here and all but unless you have a way of locating Argoth soon, we haven't gotten very far." Mike said, looking up at the moon. "Based on the moon's position, dinner is most likely already over. This also means that the interrogators will be questioning Argoth. I say we enter the castle and follow the screams." He suggested.

Eldrin randomly pulled an apple out of his pocket. "Screams? I doubt it. If he's still alive that means that these guys are pretty bad at interrogation. After all, they captured him like a week ago." He pointed out, gnawing on the apple.
Back behind the crates, the guard woke up. He stared at the others for a moment, then drew his dagger. He took a moment to control his breathing.
Eldrin watched the man in his peripheral vision. He chuckled, "I wonder..." He muttered.
The man charged at Mathayus thrusting the blade at the ninja's back with all his might.

Azrael silently called upon the power of the spirits and froze awoken guards in place. "These guys could know something...I say we interogate them..."

Meanwhile Some of the civilians hadn't gotten out of Hyrule in time. Among them was Kadina. She had made it to the town market shortly before the kingdom was assaulted by an unknown army. Her curiosity was brewing inside. She wanted to know who was behind the attack, but she was more anxious to escape. Nothing meant more to her than her freedom and she was desperate. "Alright. Time for plan... I forget what letter we're on..." Her fellow cell mates included a quaint family from North Hyrule who had been in town to purchase their son a toy wagon. The children had been thrilled. She remembered seeing them previous to the attack and remembered fighting alongside their father who put up a hell of a fight, but like herself, was outnumbered. Also in the mix was a merchant, a prostitute, and a madame Mamamu Yan who wouldn't stop grieving over her pups, or "poopies" as it was pronouced. She was Kadina's greatest motivation for getting the hell out of there as soon as possible. Failed efforts included a tunnel, seduction, picking the lock, and a variety of acts including: Kadina faking a plague, faking demonic possession, faking a prophecy, faking a countless number of illnesses, and faking child birth. Though she hadn't yet escaped, she was having a swell time. "Well, this has been grand. Love you all very much." She smiled and batted her lashes. "But I've got things to do. Any other ideas?" They all stared blankly at her. They hadn't come up with any of the ideas before and they didn't have any to offer now. The small boy sniffled as snot dripped off his nose. "I miss my poo--" "Eh! Nuh uh. I'm warning you lady. One more time. Test me." She was losing her patience with Mamamu Yan. The guard was making one of his rounds. He stopped every now and then to harrass the prisoners and certainly never failed to stop at Kadina's cell to be entertained by her shananigans. "Given up yet?" He chuckled and swung the key ring around on his finger. Kadina pushed her self against the bars of the cell to be as close as possible. "Listen. How about we come to some kind of agreement. Fatty over there is getting gas and I'm running out of ideas." "An agreement? Look at you. You're behind bars. There's nothing you have to offer me." He laughed. "Well you can look at my circumstance, but you can't see inside my head. I have information." She smiled. "Another bluff. You really are running out of tricks." He began to walk away. "The timepiece! I know where it is." He stopped. Everyone had heard about the timepeice. At least in these parts anyway. This town, the entire kingdom, revolved around the mystical power of time. It was their history. The guard backed up. "I can prove it." She pulled a folded piece of paper from her back pocket. It was the scroll that had led her and Tagor out to sea in hopes of finding the timepiece. She unfolded the map and held it up for him to see. She smiled as the look in his eyes changed. She had him now. He reached his hand out to grab the map but she caught his wrist and yanked him toward her, ramming his head into the iron bars between them. She dropped the map and made a grab for his sword. The little boy and girl inside the cell screamed and their mother drew them in close, covering their eyes. Mamamu Yan had a heart attack [muahaha. I'm just being evil now. Felt the urge to throw that in there.] The guard was completely blacked out. Kadina picked the keys off the stone cold ground and unlocked her cell. She wasn't sure how to get all of the prisoners out safely, but she was in no rush to escape the castle grounds. There were too many precious objects to be found and she was already inside. It was perfect. "Everyone needs to stick together. I know there's an exit at the south end where they bring cargo in and out of the castle. You should be able to find a wagon there. Be quiet, and good luck." The father of the children rested his heavy hand on her shoulder and nodded to show his gratitude. She smiled and watched him go as he unlocked the rest of the cells and herded a group of about twenty five civilians out of the castle. “So easy. Why didn’t I think of that 20 plans ago?” She laughed and strutted down the dungeon corridor running her hand against the cell bars as she passed. All the while she hummed the market theme song [word]

"Nope..." Eldrin sighed, "Faaaaaailuuuuure!" He said in a sing-song voice. He threw his apple at the guard. The apple bounced off the guard's head and Eldrin caught it. "This is getting boring! Plus, I'm running out of time!" He thought, biting a chunk of the apple off. He considered just making up an excuse and taking off. But that would be too obvious. They might follow. One he could handle, he had come prepared... But he couldn't kill all three. Not to mention, he preferred to get through this without killing any friends... Any more friends.
"I have an idea! We should just infiltrate the castle with this guard disguise. I'll take one of you, preferably the best liar (excluding myself off course), and pretend to have captured you. Meanwhile one of you, the best fighter, goes off and starts trouble elsewhere in the castle. In their rush to find and kill the decoy, they will direct me to take him myself. Behind us one of you, the most stealthy, will follow in the shadows, or ceiling beams. That person will follow and provide backup." He suggested, smiling happily at his diabolical plan.

Mathayus turned to face Eldrin, "Smart plan, let's do it. I'll be the sneaky one." He said, folding his arms across his chest.
