"I'll follow from the ceiling beams. I can use the spirits to scout ahead as well, telling us of any oncoming ambushes and such." Azrael said, still keeping the awakened guards frozen.

(Azrael is going to follow you as back up...and also communicate with the spirits to search other parts of the castle and to find Argoth. I'm trying to tie in both Kadina's group with ours as well...)

(Right on, and this will still [hopefully] leave room for some deception from Eldrin. Then our heroes can all meet up and [assuming Eldrin hasn't tried to murder anyone] ride happily off into the sunset.)
Eldrin nodded, "OK, that leaves Mike as a decoy, which makes sense anyway. Mike knows this castle better than any of us, he'll know of a good, defensible spot where he can stage a huge battle, and still escape easily when we signal him." Eldrin said, "So, everybody ready? You may want to lose the armor, Mathayus."

"Right...where shall we meet when you have the prisoner?"Azrael asked, ready to get this mission on the move.

(If it's ok with everyone I'll just get it started.)
"We have a boat docked at Lake Hylia, we'll meet there. If we meet in the castle walls we could find ourselves under assault... Oh yeah!" Eldrin suddenly punched Mathayus in the eye. Not hard enough to do any damage, but enough to give him a black eye. "Nothing personal, Mathayus. But it's a lot more convincing if you look your role." He explained, tossing his apple core. "Right then, let's go!"
They all separated, except Eldrin and Mathayus. Eldrin "led" Mathayus with his hand tied behind his back. He kept an eye on Azrael's position, just in case. They traveled to the Castle gates with little trouble, apparently it was pretty common for strange soldiers with glowing red eyes to show up with ninja hostages. At the gates they were halted by four guards with spears. The spears locked together, blocking their progress. "Oh yeah, that's original..." Eldrin muttered sarcastically.
"What was that? Guard..." One of the guards asked, spitting out the last word like it was something disgusting.
"What do you think you are? Acceptance councilor?" Eldrin shot back, suddenly angry.
"Are you getting cocky?"The guard asked, putting his free hand on longsword at his side.
"Cocky?! COCKY?!?! I'll tell you what you can do with a-" Eldrin was cut off by Mathayus's elbow in his ribs. "Oh yeah," He said, his mood swapping to cheerful suddenly. "I've got a prisoner here, where do I take him?"
The guard's eyes narrowed. "That's ok, we'll take him off your hands... You just go back to your post."
"Now it's Mike's turn..."
(Yeah, sorry I god-modded, let me know if you were offended and I'll change it.)

(I'm cool with it)
Azrael watched from the ceiling as Eldrin fell out of character with the guard. "If it wasn't for his fighting skill...I'd question how he managed to survive this long..." Azrael thought. At the same time, he was communicating with the spirits that inhabited the castle. "Desert Monk.." a whisper invaded his thoughts.
"Yes, Wise Spirit. What news do you bring?" Azrael replied.
"There seems to be a rather large group leaving the dungeons...led by a woman...she seems to be skilled...very skilled.."
Azrael nodded and replied "What of the prisoner we are currently looking for..?
"He's still in the dungeons."
Azrael nodded "Thank you, spirit."

Kadina was completely lost. "This is absolutely ridiculous. No one needs a home this big!" She spazzed for a minute, raising her voice. It echoed through the dungeon corridors. Normally, she would have talked back to herself and played with the echo, but she wasn't in the perkiest mood after spending 24 hours cramped in a prison cell. She crossed her arms and scowled her face.I should have stuck with the group... Suddenly she heard voices down the hall. Her expression transitioned from disapproval to interest. She was burning with curiosity. Though it often got her into trouble, Kadina knew she wouldn't have the memories of such spectacular adventures had she never acted on it. She creeped in the direction of the voices in hopes of getting to the bottom of all the chaos.

Mike crept silently and sneaky throughtout the castle. Making his way to the perfect spot for a fight. "Hyrule has the best weapons and the biggest barracks on this side of the world." He thought. "Their ruins would be a great place to fight. Of course, they were rebuilt by the invading army. I'll just have to change that." He thought it all out. The barracks are right next to the armory. After successfully reaching his destination. he made a great jump and landed on the barracks roof silently and with cat-like presicion. "I didn't think I'd have to use these... but if you need a distraction done right..." He thought while planting a few deadly explosive tags on the roof. Then dropping down and planted tags around the base of the building. "These guards are going to get one hell of a wake-up call." He thought jokingly. He procceeded to do the same with the armory. "Let's see how they fare without weapons." He thought again. He jumped up on top the main castle roof, overlooking the armory and barracks. "...and boom goes the dynamite." Mike said, throwing a kunai at the base of each building, both hitting a tag. Turning the other direction, Mike walked away slowly. There was a loud Boom. The buildings erupted in flames, becoming giant clouds of fire. Debris went flying every witch way. The area glowed a bright dazzaling orange. "He he he." Mike laughed, he turned and stopped. He ran back to the lip of the castle near the destroyed buildings and called out. "Who wants to try and face this s***! I'm ready! How 'bout you?!" Bells went off about the castle and entire platoons of soldiers rushed to the scene. Mike pulled out both katanas and stood ready.

The guards jumped as the explosions shook the castle to its very foundations. Eldrin pretended to look shocked. "By the goddesses! What was that?!" He yelled in shock, he's knees trembling. On the inside he smiled. Acting was fun.
"Damn it!" The guard shouted as warning bells sounded in the distance. "Listen, you've got to suck it up and take the prisoner. In the event of an attack we can't leave our posts! Report to Cassus in the fifth dungeon. GO!!!" The guard commanded.
Eldrin whimpered slightly. Then, with a deep breath, he nodded. "Yessir!" The guards allowed them to pass. Eldrin chuckled as soon as the door closed behind them. "Bit trusting aren't they?" Out of the corner of his eye he watched Azrael, who had apparently slipped through before the door closed.
The going through the castle was fairly easy, none of the guards bothered with them as they were all rushing off to fight Mike. After several minutes of wandering around the lower levels of the castle, Eldrin finally stopped a small company of guards. "Excuse me, sir, can you tell me the location of the fifth dungeon?"
The guards stared in confusion. By his armor they could tell he was higher in rank then all of them, but he had called one of them sir. "Um... fifth dungeon? It's through that door behind me and to the left." One piped up.
Eldrin smiled at the guard, making eye contact with him. He standing behind Mathayus, out of his sight. "Thank you my friend. And be careful... You never know who's lurking around this castle." Eldrin said, shifting his eye in Azrael's general direction.
The guard followed his gaze and noticed Azrael. His eyes widened.
Eldrin chuckled and winked at the guard. Then led Mathayus through the door. As soon as they passed through the door slammed shut, five guards stood in front of it. Another four came up behind Azrael. "Looks like Azrael didn't make it through, hope we're not found out." He muttered to Mathayus.
As they entered the third dungeon Eldrin slipped something out of Mathayus's weapon pouch. They entered the third dungeon and stood facing Cassus and Xeros. Before anyone could say a word, Eldrin threw down the smoke bomb he had stolen from Mathayus. The room filled with smoke and turned to pure chaos. After much scuffling and the strange clattering of chains the smoke faded. Eldrin stood in front of them all, holding Cassus's keys. A wide grin adorned his face. Cassus, Xeros, and Mathayus were all chained to the wall near Argoth. "Well, that should keep you all out of the way!" He said, laughing and twirling the keys as he walked away. He stripped off his armor disguise as he made his way to Azrael.

Azrael leapt at the guard that just gave Eldrin directions to the fifth dungeon and kicked him squarely in the face and managed to roll back and notice the other 4 guards appearing seemingly out of no where. (Like all guards seem to do...) Azrael managed to get his blade out as one of them slashed at him, a big CLANK! was heard as their blades met and sparks danced. Azrael reached into his pouch and unleashed a stream of kunai daggers at two of the three remaining guards, as he swept kicked the third one who was coming in for a sneak attack.
He managed to finally recover on his feet and was grazed by an arrow that seemed to have been released from the shadows, he used the spirit sense he had honed from his days with the Desert Monastary. He noticed an archer that had fallen asleep on duty and awoken by the battle, he stretched an arm out and commanded the spirits of the castle to take care of the annoying archer. As one of the spirits posessed the doomed archer, Azrael karate chopped one of the nearby guards and managed to snap his neck. The loud crack! reverberated off the walls as Azrael grabbed the two nearest guards and slammed their heads together, their helmets made the kind of noise you would expect a gong to make, but mixed in with the sound of crunching bones as their skulls cracked apart.
He glanced up at the last guard, who was obviously shaking in his boots. Azrael grinned and said "Boo." The guard screamed in terror and fled from the Desert Monk. Azrael pulled out a kunai and threw it, it gracefully whistled through the air and landed in the poor fellows brain stem...killing him instantly. "Can't be having him get more guards."

What seemed like half of the army clamoured and looked around franticly, searching for the one responsible for this act.
"Hey, retards! Up here!" Mike called out. Everyone shifted their focus to him as he jumped up, did a frontflip, and landed in front of them. They all drew their weapons and were about to charge when all of a sudden the man in gold trimmed armor on his white horse rode into the conflict. "Hold everything! If we fight, we do it as an army! Not filthy barbarians." He shouted. "Who is responsible for this?" He asked them. Every soldier there pointed at Mike.
"Oh, hello." Mike said playfully. Then turning serious. "Hold on, it seems that you're that one horsemen who led these baffoons into taking this castle." He noticed.
"Ah yes. And you are the commanding officer of that rag tag team of worthless ingrates. That 'Hyrule Army' and you are also a friend of those pitiful playpals who led them." The man mocked.
"You best watch your tongue, or I'll rip it from your mouth with my bare hands." Mike threatened.
"You spill nonsense from your mouth. You shall now spill blood from your body." He then ordered five guards to attack at once.
"Just five. Is this a game?" Mike mocked. One guard charged with a steel mace. Mike dodged and followed up with a stab straight throught the neck with his right katana. The guard gagged and fell to the ground after the katana was pulled. The second and third both attacked with swords. One high strike and another low. Mike dove to the right, rolled, stood and swiftly struck a soldier through the ribs with the left. Mike ripped the katana out and then stabbed the third guard though the right eye with the right. He pulled that katana out, sheathed both and then quickly unloading two shuriken into the skulls of guards four and five. They fell dead. "Alright. Who's next?" Mike asked tauntingly.
Irritated a little, the man sent more out, ten this time. "It does not matter how many you defeat." He said. Gloomly.
"Every lttle bit helps." Mike joked back. The ten guards formed a perimeter around Mike, surrounding him. He pulled out two kunai with exploding tags attached and threw them in opposite directions. The following explosions were small scale but killed seven of them. In the smoke, two guards coughed on it while another lay on the ground incapacitated. He walked towards them, unsheathed his katanas and stabbed one through the neck of a standing guard. Then, with the other, stabbed the second standing guard up through his mouth and into his brain. The soldier who lay on the ground helpless was then killed with a hard stomp to the throat by Mike's boot, crushing his windpipe. Mike relieved the weapons from the guards' interiors and sheathed them once more. The smoke and ash cleared, and Mike stood above corpses and his clothes were tattered from the tags.
"Hm. Very good. Impressive." The man said sounding amazed. He had a devilish grin on his face.
"Thanks for noticing. What's with the grin? Do you think you've won or are you just eager to see me kill a few more of your friends?" Mike asked. The man then ordered twenty soldiers to attack. Fifthteen came from Mike's left. They charged in a staggered line. Mike charged his Kujaku and held his hand out towards the charging enemies. "Kujaku: Destroy!" Mike cried out. A bright beam of ki shot from his left hand. The beam traveled quick and deadly. It shot through all fifteen guards and some in the crowd. The beam shot through every guards' torso, burning them away. All that was left were heads, limbs, and weapons.
However, he had not known there were only fifteen in the mix. The final five attacked his right flank. A sword sang through Mike's right side. The others went in for the kill but Mike dodged in time for their weapons to hit the ground.
"Enough of this childish game. Although very fun, killing you now would definitely be more interesting. CHARGE! LEAVE NO TRACE OF THIS HORRID WHELP!" He ordered. Every guard in the surrounding area marched towards their target.
"AHH! DAMMIT! Mike yelled due to his injury. "Whatever they're doing in there, they better make it quick." He said silently.

Eldrin leaned against the door listening. The sound of metal boots against the stone floor, steadily getting fainter. The sound of a blade whizzing through the air. Then the loud clank of an armored body crashing to the floor. He placed his hand on the door handle just as Azrael spoke.
Eldrin burst through the door. His eyes were wide and his breathing heavy. A ring of keys was clutched in his hand, jingling loudly with each movement. Blood ran down his chin from a gash on his cheek. "Azrael! They caught on to us! I don't know how, I don't want to suspect Mike, but he's the only one of us who had a chance," He blurted out, seemingly shaken up. "It doesn't matter how though... They caught on, and they ambushed me and Mathayus. I couldn't untie Mathayus in time! He took a knife through the ribs! I think it missed his heart... But I'm not sure!" He paused, absorbing the gravity of his own words. His eyes watered. "I managed to take down a couple, the guy named Cassus and his friend Xeros. The small one had keys." He held up the ring of keys for Azrael to see. "I think one of them is for Argoth's cell. Anyway, they took Mathayus! I'm going after them, you find Argoth and save him, the coast should be clear, but be careful anyway!" He tossed Azrael the ring of keys then ran back through the door, this time going to the right, opposite the dungeon.
Eldrin stopped running as he rounded a corner. He kept walking until he was a safe distance from Azrael, then took a breather. He had said all of that in about thirty seconds. It was easier this way, if Azrael couldn't ask questions there was less of a reason to be suspicious. After a while he stood and continued making his way through the castle.
It took a while to get to his destination. The castle was filled with distracting things. He found two treasure rooms, danced with a suit of armor, pigged out in a kitchen, and took a cat nap in Princess Zelda's private chambers. Eventually, he arrived outside the throne room. He hid in the shadows, watching a group of soldiers with a small battering ram. They were trying desperately to break through the double doors leading to the throne room. So far they had made absolutely no progress. The doors still stood majestically, not even dented.
Eldrin laughed at them as he walked to a large window. They were so busy that they didn't even notice the thief standing in plain sight. Eldrin stepped onto the windowsill and looked down. The guards rushing around below him looked like ants. From this vantage point he could see the crowd of guards surrounding Mike, but was too far up to tell what the situation was. He looked over at the balcony he was aiming for. It was about ten feet away. He could easily edge his way over using the tiny ledge running along the wall, but that would be boring. Eldrin bunched his body up, then jumped, exploding outward like a spring. He soared toward the balcony, wind whipping through his hair. He reached out his hand, barely catching the edge. His fall was stopped with a jolt, almost dislocating his shoulder. After dangling for a moment, he scrambled over the edge.
He entered the throne room and went straight for his prize. The Royal Crown of Hyrule sat on a grand pedestal in the center of the room. He reached for it, but stopped, "Hm... Booby traps?" He looked around for a giant boulder but saw none. He ran over to one of the walls and examined it, making sure it wouldn't grow spikes and start closing in on him. Cautiously, he poked the crown, the jumped back, guarding his head. After a moment he peeked. Nothing happened...
