"Enlighten me," The bandit replied in a plain voice. A grin stretched across his face and made another glare with his eyes. Showing absolutely feeling no anger, no sadness, and no fear whatsoever. Truly, this henchman was messed up in the head.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The partner in crime hurried to the village gate with stupendous speed. Mike's unconscious body was draped over the bandit's shoulder.
""Am I seriously going to make it?" He thought, questioning his own credibility... or the ability of the people who gave chase. He rounded a corner and was on the last stretch to the gate. The only thing between him and the success of his mission... was a pissed off 180 pound retired soldier with deadly skill with an axe. Garen stood firm in the gap between the henchman and the gate. "Of course." The bandit responded to no surprise.
"You should research the area of a mission extensively. That way you know all the possible routes to take." Garen advised. "Now the only possible path is into my blade." He twirled his shortsword for a second before positioning in his battle stance.
Without another word, the henchman tossed Mike aside and brandished a steel mace.

Mathayus immediately redirected himself to give chase to the man who had Mike. By the time he had caught up to him Garen was already engaging in battle with the assailant. Mathayus found his opening as the criminal dropped Mike. Without even thinking he sprinted after his unconscious body.

"Drakmos telos de ga temos." The Desert Monk whispered, placing his hand on the deranged man's head. Pulling his soul out...it was a painful process for the both of them. He had only preforned this once before...he needed information from this man...
"Speak now...or you will greatly regret this, fool."
---------------------------------------------
Torak landed on one of the rooftops near the escaping kidnapper. He was about to leap down and secure the man, when Garen appeared. Obviously very pissed at what had occured.
The Master Assassin realized that Garen had the intent to kill this man...he might have information that could lead them to who wanted to kidnap a wounded ex Hylian guard. After...then Garen could do to him what he pleased. He looked down and noticed Mathayus running towards the forgotten Mike, Torak decided to wait until he grabbed him and safely took off. Then he could distract the kidnapper until Mike was at a safe distance.

The henchman kept himself from screaming out in pain.
"Gah!" The henchman let out one small yelp. He breathed heavily and regained focus. "What the hell did you do to me?!" He responded in anger.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The mace wielding bandit shot a glare over to Garen. Whoever these people were, they had absolutely no intent to fail this mission. The crook raised his open hand and then clutched it in to a fist. Right on cue, three more unknown minions appeared from the rooftops and stood in line in front of Mike, creating a blockade between Mathayus and Mike.
"You honestly believe we were the only to soldiers who were sent to capture your friend. He is smart enough to know your strength," The bandit explained. He used the word "he" in his sentence.
"Who is this 'he'? Who do work for? Answer or I shall paint the ground with your blood!" Garen asked yet again.
"You are quite the barbarian," The criminal commented. Garen took offense to this and charged the henchman with his blade. The crook swung his mace at the sword and the force knocked the blade out of Garen's hand. He was now defenseless. Garen was not unarmed however, he put his wrist to the bandit's neck, flicked his finger, and the assassin blade sprang into his neck. The criminal fell stiffly to the dirt and before he perished he had this to say: "We arrived here in great numbers. When you kill us another will intervene and two more shall snag the target."
He was not lying, as soon as he exhaled his last breath, Mike was swiftly taken by more henchman. These ones were faster and Garen lost sight of them.

"I showed you only a bit of what it feels to have your very essence being ripped out...now...who do you work for and what is your goal in kidnapping our ally?" Azrael responded, his usual humbleness and kindness gone...replaced with a cold steel-like voice.
----------------------------------------------
Torak quickly follwed the two minions that had taken Mike. The Master Assassin moved as fast as his mortal muscles would allow, his feet pounded on the rooftops of the sleepy village. His heart hammered with every step...he could not remember the last time that he had ran this fast.
Torak looked down into the ally and saw the henchmen were right under him. His hidden blade made a low noise as he released it from it's hiding place, he leapt off the rooftop and fell towards the nearest henchman. His blade called out to taste the blood of these kidnappers....he could sense it.

Eldrin watch in confusion as both Azrael and the felon were suddenly consumed with terrible pain. Though he feared for the welfare of his cousin, the thief knew better than to interfere with when Azrael was working with souls. To make sure he wasn't in Azrael's way he moved to the end of the alley and leaned against a wall while he waited. Down the street at the village gate he watched as Garen dispatched one of the felons. He smiled triumphantly, already congratulating his friend mentally. To his surprise he witnessed even more henchman arriving to spirit Mike away yet again. He knew this to be a bad sign. His friends could easily catch the new men, but if their opponents had access to expendable henchmen they were probably more of a formidable force then he had been expecting. Perhaps they faced yet another evil organization that wished them harm.
In light of these new revelations, Eldrin returned to Azrael and their captive "Do what you must, but do not kill him, cousin, The thief said untying the rope from his waist. "Chances are his life is worth little to his masters, Eldrin said, picking up a large stone as he spoke, "Which makes it invaluable to us.
Knowing that Azrael had no use of the physical body currently, Eldrin made quick work of binding the man to a small post nearby. Then, with brutal, yet dispassionate efficiency, he unhinged the henchmen's jaw and forced the stone into his mouth. The makeshift gag served a double purpose of not only silencing the man, but preventing suicide as well. It was no secret to Eldrin that henchman of clandestine organizations were prone to acts of suicide. One of the most unexpected and effective methods of accomplishing this was to bite off their own tongue and swallow it. Permanently silencing themselves on the off chance that they didn't manage to successfully choke themselves to death. Unfortunately this was hard to accomplish with a giant rock shoved in there. "He'll be able to talk again once we fix his jaw, painfully though... Eldrin remarked, smiling proudly at his handiwork.

"Heheh..I suppose he will. Shall we go help Garen in the meantime?" Azrael asked, pulling his sword out.
He looked over to where the two minions were running and noticed a third figure leaping from the rooftops, the way he jumped reminded Azrael of an eagle. He quickly noticed that it was the assassin, Torak and he grinned.
"One of them is about to enter the gates of the underworld.." Azrael said to Eldrin. Hoping that he could see the Master Assassin at work.

Eldrin snickered as he recognized the shadowy figure of Torak Wolffang. "Sent in style... Guess if there was a good way to go, that'd be it." The thief said, following close behind his cousin. "I hope Mike can take all this tossing back and forth. He's tough, but they're rough... Hey! THAT RHYMED!!!" Eldrin exclaimed happily.

(I want to write the next part of this story. So I'll wrap things up here and do the next part.)
"We cannot keep playing Cat and Mouse with these people," A henchman commented, annoyed. The other, who carried Mike, agreed. He then did the most baffling thing. He tossed Mike across the rooftops with no other henchman to be seen. It would seem that no one was there to catch him... But there was. This unknown faction operated efficiently in the shadows, unable to be noticed by any citizen.
A henchman leaped from the shadows and caught Mike by the waist. The sudden jolt managed to bring their target back to conciesness.
"What... the hell?" Mike asked sleepily. The henchman landed and sprinted across the rofftops toward the gate. "Garen? Is that you?" Mike's cold colorless eyes opened.
"You wish." The criminal replied.
"Who the f**k are you? Where are you taking me?!" Mike could sense the evil in this henchman's voice.
"Ganon will be very pleased to see you." The henchman revealed.
"Ganon... Let me go this instant." Mike ordered the felon.
"Hehehe! As you wish!" The felon replied. He threw Mike ahead of him, another henchman would apprehend him.
Garen took notice to the torso flying across the night sky. "Mike!" Garen exclaimed. He retrieved his axe and placed a portal ahead of Mike, following his trajectory. Garen placed a second one in front of himself. He took a running leap through it, just as the henchman appeared from below and rocketed toward his target. With quick reflex, Garen, with his right hand holding the axe, severed the head of the henchman. His left arm curled around Mike and secured him while falling. Garen landed with Mike,
"What the hell just happened?" He asked furiously. Being tossed around like a ragdoll was not fun to him.
"Good. You're finally awake," Garen was relieved.
"Garen? Is that you this time?" Mike asked.
"Yes, are you alright?"
"I'm fine. Listen, these guys work for Ganon. And plan to take me to his castle. I do not know why nor do I care to know. Just get me ou-" Mike's sentence was cut short by a punch to Garen's face with enough force to knock him of balance and drop him. This henchman was accompnied by a large number of other criminals, maybe even the entire force.
Quickly, the pack sprinted through the gate. A horse and caravan were stationed outside the village. Mike was loaded up in the caravan and two henchman took the reigns. The caravan took off with great speed into Hyrule Field. The caravan disappeared from view under the blanket of night.
Garen pulled himself up as pissed as a bull. "Godessess damn it."

Torak caught up to Garen just as the kidnappers loaded Mike into the carriage.
Torak sighed and shook his head. "Why is it that we're always on some rescue mission or something that has to do with Gods?" he wondered aloud.

As mad as Garen was, he had to agree with Torak's observation. "Yep. That's pretty much how we spend our time. Still, they cannot get away with this scheme. They're retreating to Ganon's Castle and I must follow. You do not have to assist me, but your help would be very much appreciated." Garen strode away, off to Ganon's Castle. He knew, with luck, he could free Mike on his own but it would be a very difficult task. Although he didn't show it, he hoped the others will follow.
