A blanket of clouds overcast the beach, but it wasn't enough to ease the sweltering weather. The taste of salt lingered in every drop of humidity that filled the air. The sun baked behind the clouds. Kadina imagined it burning its brightest in hopes of penetrating the clouds, seeing as it was still unbearably hot. Her train of thoughts was twisted in negativity as she stared out at the sandy beach from her perch on the bow of the ship. The crew was silent. The sails tattered and torn and speckled with stains of blood. Shards of splintered wood from railing and other framework scattered the deck as one very solemn old mate covered in symbolic tattoos sluggishly swept the debris. The atmosphere was full of mourning and anguish. Many lives had been lost in a vicious dispute out at sea. One life, in particular, that Kadina couldn't let go of. As a flock of seagulls squawked over head, her mind raced.
Flashback: It was night as kadina snuck into her village campground, lantern in one hand, a scroll in the other. The central campfire was nothing but embers now, popping and crackling every now and then and spitting out smoke every time another log gave way. Everyone slept soundly in their tents made of animal hides strung up by ropes from hovering branches or propped up by beams of wood. Kadina's tent, left exactly how she had it, was constructed as some sort of a teepee. The central beam was actually a totem pole she had stolen from the Woodfall region of Termina. Instead of just animal hide, she had covered the outer layer with the scaly skin of a threatening nautical monster she had slain after returning from a heist with a group from her tribe. It was something to be quite proud of, and that she was. Kadina pushed through the sheer scale covering of the doorway into her tent. She placed her lantern on a keg next to a fur pallet, her bed, and began rummaging through a chest near the center beam. One of the idols carved into the totem poll was a deku scrub. She reached her hand into its hollow snout and pulled out a small cloth bag. It jingled as she tied it to her belt. "Kadina. You're back."She jumped and turned to see Tagor, her husband-to-be by arranged engagement, standing in the entrance of her room. He was smiling, but he knew to keep quiet. "Tagor." She smiled back, but didn't rush to embrace him as two people in love would do. For her, it was never like that, but she had always loved Tagor as her good friend. Nothing more. The thought of marriage is what mostly kept her from home. Her spirit was never one to be domesticated or tamed. She was a free spirit, wild and unpredictable and she could never imagine settling down as a wife. However, Tagor never expected her too. He, on the other hand, was in love. She meant more to him than any treasure they had ever stolen. "What are you setting out to do now?" He crossed his arms and leaned against the nearest support beam. A smile lingered in the corners of his mouth. He loved her adventurous nature. "I'm not always up to something, you know? Just getting some stuff together. Going to visit Hyrule for a bit. Kitty needs new shoes." She forced a chuckle. He could see right through it. He laughed. "We have blacksmiths, Kadina. What's in your hand." He nodded at the scroll. "Ohhh... well, I found another wanted poster. Gotta dispose of it." She smiled and rocked up on her toes. He approached her and made a grab for the scroll. She jerked it out of reach. "A wanted poster? Here, I'll take care of that while you gather your things." That smile never left the corners of his mouth. There was something charming about it. She could see him seeing through her and it rendered her helpless. She knew there was no use hiding this, but by God, she would--- too late. He had snatched the scroll and walked toward the lantern. He was about to hold it over the flame when he suddenly got the reaction he was looking for. The reaction he was expecting. "Tagor, wait!" She took a step toward him with her hand outreached toward the scroll. "Kadina." "Come on. Don't make me tell you. I know I don't have to." "You are up to something." He laughed. She tried to hide a smile, but it wasn't just her smile she was hiding. He could see excitement in her eyes. "Ahhh. I see." He opened the scroll and read. His grin turned to enchantment and wanderlust. "How did you get this?" "You'd be surprised what you can find in a simple practice of pocket picking." "That easy, huh?" "What can I say?" She wore a sort of arrogant smirk. "I wanna go." "Ha. No way." "You can't go alone." He approached her. "That's insanity, Kadina. You're smarter than that." "I'm not going alone. I've got a crew off the coast of Great Bay." "Oh really? And how do you plan on sharing this with an entire crew? It'll be a blood bath. They'll all turn on one another." "They don't know. And like you just said, I’m smart. I've got this all figured out." She slightly tapped her temple and cocked her brow. He chuckled. "I'm going. It'll be like that time at Goron City. Or when we went sky sailing to raid ole King Ludo's floating tomb." "Good times..." "I hope you realize I'm involved now. No getting rid of me." She didn't have anything to say. Nothing to argue. She knew he was right and there was nothing she could do. "Ok. Let's do it." She smiled that wild smirk and he returned it, but his eyes said more than she wanted them to.
The wind picked up. It cleared away the clouds and stirred the ocean's surface creating nicely portioned waves. They were just enough to rock the ship; just enough to crash into its sides and spray anyone on deck. The cool mist was exactly what they needed. Kadina held firmly to the bow. She felt her adrenaline pumping as the nose plunged toward the surface of the sea, hit a wave, and then leapt into the air after impact.
The crew had dropped anchor off the coast of a small island far out at sea. Kadina wasn't sure of the name. It wasn't populated, and probably very few people in the world even knew of its existence. She cut through any floral life that crossed her path as she hiked her way up a mountain with Tagor following behind her. They had most of the crew split up and "search" while they made a B line for where they knew the treasure really was. "Nothing. False map." She said in defeat after searching the entire top of the mountain. "Someone's been here..." He pointed to a foot print embossed in the clay sediment that covered the mountain top. "Dammit." She threw her katana into the ground. She sat silently on a nearby boulder as he stood staring off to sea, his hands in his pockets, thinking. Suddenly, he noticed a ship on the horizon. "Kadina, it's time to go."
The ship had gained a considerable distance by the time they had made it back to their own vessel. Its speed was phenomenal, a threatening sign. Kadina's crew raised the anchor and let down the sails. It was time to haul ass. "Have Rover call the flag. I want to know what we're dealing with."Had it been from the royal fleet, Kadina was in trouble. Had it been pirate, they'd all die. "Cross bone! Gold axe, silver hammer!" "Oh no..."
There was a clan of pirates that had joined forces with a group of iron knuckle assassins. They were known as the Barzilliad, a Middle Eastern term for "men of iron" and they never showed mercy to those they crossed at sea. [to be continued. I have to go to work]

Kadina sloshed through the wet sand as she and a few of the other men hauled their row boat a shore. The Adrian (their vessel) was off in the horizon making its way to the nearest port. She watched its silhouette sail across the big golden sun that was setting behind it. Each of the few men who had volunteered to help Kadina to shore patted her on the back. It was their way of offering their condolences. Her silence signaled their departure. Tagor's body remained in the row boat wrapped in a shroud. She twisted her engagement ring around and around on her finger and gazed out at sea watching the sun paint the sky crimson. Pinks and purples tuned in and speckled the few clouds that remained overhead after the day's earlier winds had passed. She felt that there was no one to blame but herself.
(I'm just going to leave it at that. I'm being a pouty pants right now after I lost that whole passage. Oh well. Brief and to the point. That's good.)

Eldrin wore two bandannas, one red with black tribal designs, one black with similar designs in white. He wore the black one on top of his head, covering his hair, tied at the front; and the red tied loosely around his neck, ready to be pulled up over his nose and mouth as a mask. The only recognizable feature that would be unconcealed was his red eyes, which he couldn't help. He wore a white tunic with the sleeves ripped off at the elbow and a mahogany brown vest over it. He wore black loose fitting breeches that stopped at the knee. His boots were brown leather with three brass buckles, and they came up to right below his knee. Though from a distance his clothes looked, with the exception of the tunic sleeves and bandannas, quite fancy, up close it was pretty obvious that they were tattered and shabby. He wore neither cape, coat, or cloak, as they would only be a burden. A wooden toothpick stuck out of the corner of Eldrin's mouth, moving as he chewed it unconsciously. He sat perched on a rooftop watching two pirates talking, if he remembered right, the bald one was named Miroc Cointooth. A man that, according to popular rumors, had lost all of his teeth to a cannonball, but had survived. He had compensated for his lost teeth by melting down golden rupees from his plunder, and forming them into teeth. Unfortunately these teeth had been a little larger than his previous ones, giving him a very comical appearance. Despite this, no one ever laughed at him, probably due to the fact that, when forming these new teeth he had seen fit to make them razor sharp. More fangs than teeth. He was a feared pirate, not afraid to sink those "Cointeeth" into enemies and viciously tear through skin and muscle. Miroc Cointooth was just barely shorter than Eldrin, but filled with muscles that the thief didn't even know one could have. He had his own crew and two ships to a measly fleet. Even though they lacked ships and men, they were notoriously successful. Miroc had egotistically named his crew the "Cointooth Pirates". There flag showed a white skull with golden fang-like teeth, crossed under the skull was a cutlass and flintlock pistol, all of this was on the typical black field of a pirate flag.
The other man, to whom Cointooth spoke was easily taller than Eldrin, with long lanky limbs. He had close cropped dirty blond hair. On his left forearm he had a tattoo of a savage looking snake wrapped around a rusty anchor, covered in barnacles, with a bit of seaweed stuck to part of it. Eldrin knew this to be the insignia of some band of pirates... but he really didn't care enough to find out which. The man only had one good eye which was green. A scar ran diagonally across his face, starting at his right temple, it crossed over his right eye, skimmed his nose, crossed his lips, and ended on the left side of his chin. Unlike most cliché pirates he did not cover this eye with a patch, but left it exposed. At the man's side hung a fine cutlass, the crossguard, basket, and pommel were all gold, the grip was black leather. The sharp steel blade was concealed by a scabbard made of high quality ebony, harvested from exotic islands far away, the throat and tip of the scabbard were gold to match the hilt. This weapon was Eldrin's target. After all, if he was caught, and couldn't talk his way out, things might turn to battle. Of course he could just use his fire abilities, but the ship would no doubt be loaded with gunpowder, and he didn't want to take unnecessary risks. As the conversation progressed, the man's name was mentioned, Falisk Augor.
Eldrin looked around, the dock was empty, only these two pirates remained. A playful grin automatically spread across his features. He dropped from the rooftop and walked casually over to where the pirates stood. "Evening, gentlemen." He said with mock politeness.
The two pirates turned and glared at him, apparently trying to scare him off. Then Miroc Cointooth realized who he was looking at. "Wait... yer... Yer that thief!" "How's it goin' Miroc?" Eldrin asked pleasantly. Falisk Augor looked back and forth at the two of them. "Ya know 'im, Cointooth?" He asked, his voice was surprisingly low. Miroc's entire body was shaking with anger, he drew his knife and pointed it at Eldrin. "This is tha bastard 'at shot me!" Falisk looked at Eldrin confused, "Shot ya?" Miroc nodded vigorously, "With the cannonball! 'E's tha reason I'm missin' me real teeth!" Falisk looked incredulously at Eldrin, who shrugged. "It was an accident..." Miroc swiped the knife at Eldrin's face, barely missing because the latter leaned backward just in time. "Accident? So is that why ya were claimin' my share o' tha spoils?" He yelled, slashing repeatedly at the thief, only to be casually dodged every time. "I figured... since you were dead..." "BUT I WASN'T!!! THEN WHEN YA FOUND OUT I WAS ALIVE, YA 'ACCIDENTALLY' TOSSED ME OVERBOARD!!!" He shouted, his face now turning red from yelling and his vain attempts to maim Eldrin. "I called out 'man overboard'..." He pointed out, sidestepping a flourishing vertical swing from the knife. "AN HOUR LATER!!!"
Eldrin sighed and caught Miroc's blade hand, "It's the past my friend, and we're both still alive. So let's not dwell, or try to change that situation," He said, soothingly. He released Miroc's hand and turned to Falisk. Behind him Miroc aimed to embed the knife in the thief's spinal cord. Eldrin laughed and kicked backward, hitting Miroc's hand. The knife flew upward over both of their heads, and fell straight at Falisk. Falisk barely blocked the knife with his cutlass. As the knife clattered to the wooden planks he pointed the cutlass at Eldrin and Miroc. Eldrin pointed an accusing finger at Miroc and stepped out from between them.
"Yer dead Cointooth!" Falisk growled as he charged at Miroc, he threw his scabbard ahead of him to distract his target, then aimed the blade for his stomach. Miroc knocked the scabbard out of the air and dodged the blade, then sunk his golden fangs into Falisk's shoulder, tearing at the tendons and muscle. Falisk roared in pain and tried to shake him off. Eldrin watched this battle with little interest. As they turned to an angle with Falisk facing the thief, he took the toothpick from between his teeth. With one well aimed throw, Eldrin hit Falisk Augor in his one good eye. The man cried again in pain, or perhaps anger, and dropped his cutlass. Eldrin chuckled as he retrieved the scabbard and its blade. He winked at Miroc Cointooth, whose eye widened with realization.
"Too easy." He thought as he walked away, sheathing the cutlass in its scabbard and pulling the red bandanna up, over his face.
Eldrin walked across the beach looking for the ship he was going to steal, but instead found himself instead looking at a very familiar person. Eldrin walked to her side and stared at the covered body. He didn't even wonder who it was, he knew Kadina to care for only a few people. And he remembered meeting a man named Tagor. It seemed like a thousand lifetimes ago, but he still remembered. He was her fiancé. She had told Eldrin that she wasn't happy being engaged, but she cared for him anyway. Eldrin had always suspected that, if Kadina ever decided to settle down, it would be with Tagor. He watch her hand twisting her ring, an obvious sign of anguish. He wanted to ask, but knew that she couldn't bring herself to say what happened. He could wait until she was ready. Unconsciously, he pulled the bandanna down, revealing his face. Then he squeezed her shoulder and gave his most comforting smile. This was a gray area for him. Loss was completely foreign, he knew not how to help, or if that was even possible. "Kadina..."

A pirate had sneaked into the cargo hold, obviously looking for food. He was a rather large one and needed alot of food to keep him moving, his stomach rumbled rather loudly as he shuffled through the crates looking for the food. "I don't wanna be here...why'd I even volunteer for dis! Dis is stupid.." he whined as he continued to shift through the crates for food. This man wasn't exactly the sharpest knife in the drawer...the food was all kept in the ship's kitchen and it was always locked. The key was kept by the head cook around his neck on a flimsy chain.
He wasn't very quiet, he made the loudest noise as possible. He couldn't hear anyone creeping up behind him...not even a man in a black robe. His hood was over his head, it kept his face hidden as he approached the large pirate. The large pirate suddenly turned around and very stupidly looked at the robed man, the man took this opportunity to leap upon the pirate. Despite his size, the large pirate was pinned down and could not move.
A blade shot out of the man's left gauntlet and he pointed it at the large pirates throat. "Explain what you and your crew are doing here if you value your life!" He hissed in a low voice. "I ain't tellin' ya nothin'! Cap'n gave me strict orders not ta tell anyone who ain't on da crew!"
The man retracted his blade and pulled out a key, it was the key to the kitchens. "A big boy has got to eat...I'll give you this key for the information that I want. And we all leave here, happy." The man grinned. The large pirate was staring at the key the man was dangling above, he was sweating very heavily and before his little mind could stop him from saying it, he said "We're gonna bury da Capn's dead fiancee! Yeah yeah!" He grinned stupidly and waited for his reward. The man grinned "Many thanks...friend." The man reached into his pouch and pulled out an apple. He tossed it to the large pirate, who took a big bite out of it. He grinned stupidly as he chewed on the bite, suddenly his eyes seemed to go into the back of his head. His body spasmed for a few seconds and he flopped to the ground. "An apple a day...keeps the doctor at bay." The man whispered and laid the key next to the large pirate. The man's name is Torak Wolffang, for those who did not know his name. And few did know his name and lived to tell about it. None did...the ones who knew his name were the other members of the Assassins of Hyrule and a few allies he made throughout the years....the ones who were still breathing. The others who learned of it...usually didn't live that long.
Torak climbed the stairs to get onto the main deck of the ship, he glanced out of the door to make sure the coast was clear. The other crew members seemed too busy to notice, Torak quickly ran out and started to climb down from the ship. He had tied a small rowboat to the side of the ship, it was painted black to blend in with the night and so that none would see it. Save for those who knew of it's existence, he quietly got in. Took a small dagger out and cut the rope securing it to the vessel. He took two oars and slowly made his way towards the island where Kadina was at with the corpse of her fiancee.

Post by Argoth/Maximus on Jun 13, 2011 13:16:37 GMT -6
Argoth poked his head over the side of a massive black pirate ship. He scanned the entire deck and finally saw that the crew were all huddled on the opposite side of the ship. From what he could make out, they were all watching two members of their crew duke it out. Gold rupees were withdrawn from pouches to place bets on which man would win. Cheers and shouts of profanity were also heard from the large crowd around the fight. Argoth crept over the side and casually strolled over to the mob of sweaty testosterone and whistled as loud as he could. The entire crowd of pirates went dead silent. Both brawling men ceased their assault on one another, and every single one of the pirates pivoted a full three sixty to stare down whoever dared to interrupt their entertainment.
Argoth reached for a piece of parchment that extended from his pocket. He unrolled it and addressed the pirates, "I'm looking for a captain Otto Favius, any of you know where I can find him?" A big burly man with an angry expression on his face stepped forward. He stalked straight up to Argoth, who he was considerably bigger than. The man leaned in, practically touching his face with Argoth's and spat, "I'm captain Otto. And who the hell do you think you are comin' here?" His voice was a deep baritone growl. Argoth's nose cringed at the smell of Otto's breath. It smelled like rotted fish and fecal matter. Argoth almost gagged but managed to choke it down, "Well Otto, this contract says here it wants me to kill you, so that's exactly what I'm gonna do." Otto laughed right in Argoth's face, the smell of his breath almost made Argoth wretch the contents of his stomach all over the deck. "You came all this way to be mighty disappointed then lad, cause I don't plan on dyin' today," he chuckled. Not a second later after the captain had finished a small boy rushed in and jump punched Otto Favius right in the temple. The big man went down hard, smashing into the hard wooden floor.
Maximus stood over the captain's unconscious body and the whole crew stared in astonishment. Argoth smiled and said, "Nice one kid." After the initial shock of seeing a boy knock their captain unconscious, the crew drew their weapons and roared in anger. They rushed Max and Argoth in a bloodthirsty rage, stabbing and slashing at each of them. Argoth whipped a smoke pellet at the ground, dodging various blades directed at him. He grabbed Maximus and lead him out out of the fray. Argoth and Max were sitting on the edge of the ship when the smoke cleared. The crowd of men that had attacked them initially had been thinned dramatically; six of them remained. During the frenzy many of the pirates mistakenly killed one another while the smoke impaired their vision. The pirates that remained didn't seem to care, and rushed Argoth and Max with the same hatred as before. Argoth dispatched the ones closest to him with ease, Max did the same. When the pirates were no more, Argoth strolled over to the unconscious Otto Favius. He stood there a moment and thought. His eyes wandered around the deck until he spotted what he was looking for. He had Max fetch it for him and they propped Otto up against it. Maximus smirked, "Gunpowder, I like it. He'll go out with a bang." Argoth smiled and shook his head at Max's bad attempt at a pun, "Just tie him up kid."
They left a trail of gunpowder leading back to the unconscious Otto and Argoth casually flicked a match onto it. The trail lit up and snaked its way back toward its source. Argoth and Max leaped off the ship just as the explosion erupted behind them. As the two of them nonchalantly walked away from the burning ship Argoth said, "How was that for your first contract, kid?" "We definitely need to do this again," Max replied smiling. As Max finished Argoth had stopped. "What?" But Max had already figured out what Argoth was so intently staring at. Two people, not far off were standing around a small boat; there was a body inside. Argoth began walking toward them, "Come on Max."
Max didn't question what Argoth was doing and followed him. As they neared the two people, Max could make out who Argoth had seen. The first man was easily recognizable to Max and a big smile lit up across his face; it was Eldrin. The second person was a woman that he had never seen before. "Argoth, who is that?" Max asked. "An old friend of mine. Be quiet Max, something isn't right." And finally they reached them, and the woman had a sad expression on her face. Argoth assessed the situation, he saw the man in the boat and the ring Kadina was twirling on her finger. He connected the dots. Oh no.. he thought. And before Argoth said anything Max seemed to have understood the situation as well, because he walked straight up to Kadina and embraced her in a hug.

Kadina jumped when she heard the sound of Eldrin's voice. Her gaze still focused on the horizon where she had been watching someone in a row boat make their way toward her. For a split second she didn't feel alive. It had been so long since she had seen Eldrin that she sometimes thought of him dead. Hearing his voice and longing for Tagor, she had half hoped that she made it to the after life in that ephemeral moment. She hoped that she could bring them both back. But there was no need to retrieve Eldrin. He was there with her now. Alive. She closed her eyes and collected herself then reached up and rested her palm on Eldrin's hand. She felt his veins pulse and the warmth of his skin. Suddenly, Kadina was overwhelmed with comfort. She wanted to cry but was incapable. Why she abandoned the rebellion, she couldn't remember. All she knew was that she missed her friends and their adventures. If only she had stuck with them instead of leading her own quests, Tagor might still have been alive. She felt sick again just thinking about it. Suddenly, she felt the embrace of a young boy. Who he was, she had no idea, but his compassion and instant understanding did her in. A tear rolled down her cheek as she stared in shock at the boy. She was speechless...

Eldrin couldn't help but smile at Max. "Little kids... They're always so irrational, so over-emotional. And yet, they hit the hardest... As people get older, they lose that touch. They become dull. They learn self-control... Their greatest flaw. Even I show more discretion than kids."
Looking out at the rowboat he could now tell it was Torak. He wondered, but did not question. Most of the time when he saw Torak, he was on business. Deadly business. But Torak had never been contracted to kill Kadina. And Eldrin doubted Torak would accept such a contract. He decided not to worry about it, he trusted the assassin.
Eldrin looked at Kadina's face, his smile fading. The moist path of the tear shining was in the sunlight. He wanted to shove her into the water. Spar with her. Something to get her back to normal. He couldn't stand to see her so sad. It was agonizing. He wasn't sure if this was a selfish thought or not. But he didn't care. The thought of Kadina breaking down was unbearable. Especially since he knew he couldn't help. He wiped her tear away with the hand not on her shoulder and smiled encouragingly. "We'll help you with the burial... When you're ready..." He said softly, almost a whisper.

(To get myself motivated for Torak...I play Assassin's Creed music while typing his posts) Torak knew that Eldrin had spoted him, it didn't matter. He had come for one thing only...killing was not why he had come here today.
The wind from the sea was blowing against him as he continued to row, it sounded like an angry God.
In a span of 10 minutes, he had reached the sandy shore. He pulled his rowboat onto the beach and sloshed through the wet, thick sand and onto the dry and gritty stuff. He inhaled the scent of the salt water as he moved through the sand, the night air was calming...too calm...like the calm before the storm.
He continued walking until he spotted the group of his past allies around a corpse. He could see Kadina's body langauge telling him that she had lost a very close one to her, she kept twisting something on her finger. He couldn't see what it was...but he knew that it was important...but he was here for something else...something that he left on this island a long time ago.

"Thank you..." She looked up at Eldrin and couldn't help but smile. She knew, were there not any hope, she would have cried at the thought of burying Tagor, but she had faith and knew that the time piece was still out there. She wanted it. She was going to bring Tagor back one way or another. Even though his body lay lifeless before her, she knew his soul was alive somewhere. She could breath. The more her thoughts focused on that little glimpse of hope, that possibility, the better she felt. "Is that Torak?" She then questioned as she squinted trying to make out the approaching figure.

Torak knew that Kadina had spotted him. He had hoped to get past them and on the way back to help lay whoever it was to rest and let them move on to the next world. Torak started walking towards the group of his past allies, the moon was bright enough to produce shadows. His shadow followed the actions of it's master to the dot on the pearl white sand. It took him a little less than two minutes to trek from the shore to the little group surrounding the wrapped up corpse. In Carnavorian custom, one would grasp the family members and those close to the deceased by the shoulders with both hands and stare eye-to-eye, as if taking a bit of the burden. For they were of one pack, what one member feels, the others should feel so they may grow stronger together. Torak did just that to Kadina, the whole ritual lasts about 20 seconds, after it was over he released his grip and knelt in silent prayer.

Kadina cleared her throat and looked away nervously, scratching behind her ear. "Well that wasn't awkward." Her sarcasm was perking into play. She was feeling more and more at ease. She displayed her appreciation for his sympathy by giving him a swift pat on the side of his arm. It was nearly impossibke to believe how long it had been since she'd seen him last. Kadina rested her hands on her hips and shifted her weight insecurely once she realized the task at hand. "So, I guess we should take care of this, but it's so nice to see you guys. We should catch up. Erm... I'll make soup!... Or something." She chuckled nervously and couldn't remember if they had ever been exposed to her horrid cooking.

Torak stood up once more and turned to face the group of his past allies. "It would be an honor for us to feast with you, Kadina." Torak said, knowing that he needed to be leaving them asap. But he decided to stay...for reasons even he did not know. It felt weird, but also good at the same time. He shook those feelings off and moved his gaze towards the moon, then the Great Sea and back at the group of his past allies.

Max backed up to Argoth and stood there silently. He did not recognize this new man that had appeared, but he did notice he wore the same symbol as Argoth. Max pulled on Arogth's arm, "Argoth, that man has the same symbol as you, who is he?" Max asked. Argoth turned his head down to look at his apprentice, "That's Torak. The leader of our organization." Max nodded, "Oh." Argoth walked over to Torak and Kadina, "Yeah, lets eat and catch up. Come here Max, let me introduce you to some good friends of mine." Max slowly made way over to Argoth; he was a bit shy. "This is Maximus, my apprentice. Max this is Kadina, and this is Torak." He said gesturing respectively to his friends.

(lol, I imagine Torak as Ezio, just more wolfish.)
Eldrin started getting restless, so much formality and respectfullness... It was too much. "Soooo! I'll help with the soup." Eldrin said, excitedly. Then whispered to Kadina, "As long as I don't have to eat it..." He was happy to see Kadina coming back to normal, but was still reluctant to eat her food. "So yeah, you guys can catch up and I'll go steal us a pot."

(I've been seeing Torak as more Ezio-ish than Altair-ish recently...despite Torak being based off of Altair...I think a wardrobe change might be in order soon... xD)
"I've heard a bit about you, Maximus." Torak said to the assassin recruit. He looked up and down at Max before saying "You have the markings of a great assassin...I will be watching as you rise through our ranks." He nodded to Max and then to Argoth.
"There's a small herd of pigs on this island...I'll track them down." Torak said to the group. "Anybody who wishes to join me is more than welcome."
