"We mostly travel seperately and it seems that whenever we encounter one another... we get sucked into some sort of adventure."Azrael responded.
Several feet from the small group, a wisp rose from the grass and started to hover towards them. Azrael turned his head in it's direction as it's energy brushed past his mind. The wisp studied them for a moment before floating over to them and stopped to hover in front of Azrael.
"Hello friend. Have we disturbed your slumber in some way?" The Desert Monk asked in a low voice. The wisp stayed silent, speaking in a tongue and way that could only be understood by Azrael.
The Desert Monk bowed his head an apologized silently, causing the wisp to float back into the ground.

Just ways from the group's gathering, a young man was trudging through the grassy, emerald plains of Hyrule's Field. Though there were fairly high mounds spotting the field, the breeze was able to glide over the rolling hills effortlessly and blew right by the young man. The caressing wind caused his knitted shawl, that was slung across his chest and held with a wooden pin, to flap about in the breeze.
He didn't mind that his shawl dancing with the refreshing cool breeze of the land, all he was concern about was reaching Hyrule Town. He had came quite the long ways from Termina just to go to the town's market. Quite honestly, he didn't want to leave the comforts of his home, but his boss still manage to talk him into venturing into Hyrule to purchase new cooking utensils for the inn he was working at, promising him that there was going to be stalls that sell large amount of yarn skeins in all colours of the rainbow. Of course, that is if he knew where he was going that is.

Eldrin jumped back suddenly, with a sudden yelp of pain. He stuck out his bottom lip and furrowed his brow as he nursed his bleeding thumb. He had accidentally pricked it on Avarice, and now he was being a big baby about it.
This moment of distraction was gone in a second. "I pretty much go wherever I feel like going. No point in being anywhere that I don't wanna be, right?" He answered Rii's question. "Have you ever noticed that it's hard to say the word 'bubble' in an angry way? And 'b*tch' nicely?"
Moments later, he felt a gentle breeze sweep over the field, swaying the grass and ruffling their hair (those of them that had hair). Eldrin turned at a new smell and noticed a stranger passing without a word. A mischievous grin crossed his face as he watched the newcomer. With a quick movement, the thief snatched his cutlass out of the ground and stood next to the stranger. He held the cutlass out threateningly and smiled, "Hi! I'm Eldrin, and I'll be your bandit today... If you don't mind please throw in a plea for your life or a tough statement akin to 'bring it', now. And then forfeit any valuables you may have. And you better have 'em too! 'Cause I am tired of r-" Suddenly, in mid-sentence, the thief's eyes became unfocused and he crumpled to the ground, unconscious. The claw blades of Avarice gleamed with the sedative coating Eldrin applied to it daily.

Maximus laughed hysterically at Eldrin's second failed attempt to rob someone. He knew Eldrin was okay because the theif was nearly impossible to kill, even if he were to accidentally do it himself. Max jogged over to the newcomer, eager to make another friend. The young boy smiled at the stranger and said,"Don't mind Eldrin, that's just his way of saying hello. Anyway, I'm Maximus, what is your name?"

Rii knew what Azrael meant about groups and adventure. Whenever she was temporarily hired by a group to be their healer, she always ended up fighting for her life or doing otherwise abnormal tasks. Not that she minded, considering it to be rather fun.
It was Eldrin's policy that she agreed with, however. That was why she started traveling in the first place. She hadn't wanted to stay in a place that was so familiar to her. She didn't have much time to dwell on his next remark, however, as he was suddenly distracted by a newcomer that he greeted the same way he had greeted Maximus and Rii. As he was making his demands, however, he suddenly collapsed, and Max went over to greet the young man that had arrived. "Trying to gather goods for the troops again, Eldrin?" she asked with a light laugh, skipping over to where he had fallen and kneeling to examine what had caused him to collapse. Her eyes quickly caught the bleeding thumb, and that's when she glanced the odd claws that he had used to threaten her, gleaming with something. Curious, Rii focused on the liquid. A sedative. "Sweet dreams or wide awake? I always wonder which they want. But alas, you are asleep so you cannot tell me, and I do hope you're enjoying sweet dreams as I decide if I should wake you up or not," Rii pondered aloud, voice light and unconcerned now that she knew what had caused Eldrin's collapse. She pulled out a thin roll of linen bandages. It wasn't too serious, so she wouldn't use her heavier wraps, and then she wrapped the bandages around Eldrin's thumb once before tying it off. "Well, I'll wake you, and if your dreams were wonderful you can simply go back to sleep on your own accord." Deciding that was a good idea, Rii pulled out a vial of yellow liquid. It was some sour stuff, but Rii liked to think that's what made it so effective. She wasn't sure of how strong the sedative was, but she could easily make more of the potion. Popping open his mouth, Rii allowed two drops to fall down Eldrin's throat.

At first, when Eldrin had brandished his Avarice at the young traveler, he couldn't help up jump back nearly a full three feet. He stared completely terrified at the young thief and became frozen stiff since he was never held up at blade, or claw-point?, before. Sincerely about ready to plead for his life, the thief suddenly and just simply collapsed over unconscious. Still, Vulpus wouldn't dare move from his spot and made a slight gasp as his attention diverted from Eldrin to a laugh he heard not too far off.
There was a small group of three standing about not too far from where he stood, one of them laughing hysterically after the thief before him collapsed. Fearing they were also thieves, Vulpus was just about to make a run for it when one of the group members, a young boy, had bounded up to him, no doubt he wouldn’t be able to escape now without the possibility of being attacked-
"Don't mind Eldrin, that's just his way of saying hello. Anyway, I'm Maximus, what is your name?" the young boy, Maximus it seems, said.
Vulpus stayed quiet for a bit, refusing to respond even when a Zora girl had came to Eldrin’s aid to recover from what it seems to be accidental sedation to himself. Yet, their smiles look assuring enough to him that they were harmless, but still, what kind of greeting is that were you threatening to kill someone if they don’t hand you your valuables? Certainly these young folk might not be thieves, but still, the young man decided to keep his mouth shut a little longer, his face still held a mask of fear from the scare Eldrin did.

The wisp flew away and Azrael snapped his attention back over to his friends who had made... another friend?
"I swear... there are more living beings than spirits these days."Azrael muttered and walked over to join them.
He studied the newcomer, obviously Eldrin had scared the poor kid so much that he refused to speak and was as jittery as a rabbit.

Rii's medicine worked quickly, counteracting the thief's sedative. Eldrin sat up and scratched the back of his head. "Thank you, Miss Rii." He said nodding to her. He stood up and stretched for a minute, until he noticed the new guy. He smiled and held out his right hand (not Avarice) in greeting. "Damn, your good. Took me out and I didn't even see ya do it!"

"Damn, your good. Took me out and I didn't even see ya do it!" the thief spoke as he finally woke up, extending a hand towards Vulpus to shake it.
But after that scare? No thanks, but he would rather not get psyched-out and robbed of his menger amount of rupees he had than shake his hand. So Vulpus continue to just stare, then finally shook his head, turning the offer down on Eldrin.

Eldrin shrugged at his rejection. Not everybody was as friendly as he was and he figured that was their business. He picked his cutlass up from where he had dropped it and sheathed it. "So do you have a name?" He asked, smiling warmly at the stranger. "Promise I won't steal that from you. One stolen name's enough for me!"

Maximus sighed at the currently unconscious Eldrin, "Look what you did Eldrin, you scares him!" he scolded, not that Eldrin could hear it. "Don't be afraid mister, Eldrin can barely rob a blind shopkeeper, besides, I won't let him be mean." This was quite the contrary, Eldrin was in fact the best thief in all of Hyrule, Max just wanted to comfort the poor guy. Just then the thief woke up as Rii poored a funny looking liquid into his mouth. Eldrin promptly stood up and began being friendly with the newcomer. "See? Nothing to worry about, so what is your name stranger?" Maxwell asked a well beaming up at him.

Vulpus still stared at Eldrin as he offered to learn of his name, but with some coaxing from Maximus, the young inn worker finally decided he could just tell him his name. "V-Vulpus. . . but I really should get going, I promised her that I would . . . err. . . . what was that again- ah yes, I promised Madame Justine that I would buy her new cooking ware for the inn. If you. . . uh. . . please."
With that, he gave the group a slight bow and was just about to turn away from the group. Facing to go in the opposite direction of the Hyrule Town market.

Rii felt saddened that someone would have to leave such a spur-of-the-moment gathering after only a few short seconds. Perhaps he was not feeling well? That would be unfortunate. Rii focused briefly, and though he was not currently sick, she soon gathered he had a poor immune system and low endurance. "That's unfortunate," she pondered aloud. "You work in an inn, Vulpus? But not in Hyrule Town? And what is your work? Curious, curious. Have I ever visited such an inn, I wonder. What is it called, Vulpus, before you go? Surely you can stay a little longer." Rii had yet to actually speak to the newcomer, as she had been attending to Eldrin, who had leapt back onto his feet practically the instant that the concoction of her's had touched his throat. But now that she knew he worked at an inn, she was curious as always. Besides, she wanted to investigate his condition, as anything that wasn't the classic healthy body always interested her.

He really should be getting going to the market, but it was high noon, Vulpus was sure he has to time stay around abit and speak with the group, besides, they could perhaps help point him in the direction of the Hyrule Market. “Y-Yes, I do work at an inn. . . And I’m not from Hyrule, it’s in Termina, I’ve came here to Hyrule because Madame Justine, my boss, wanted me to buy new cookware at the Hyrule market for the inn,” he replied, kinda fidgeting in one spot even though he did wanted to speak with the Zora. Rarely has he ever saw one before, only having seen just one or two zoras boarding at the inn during the festivals, but most of the time it was just regular Hylians, deku scrubs and the occasional goron that came to stay at the inn.
“I work. . .” Vulpus paused for a bit, then continued, but he couldn’t help but slightly blush about his ‘other work’ at the inn, “I work in the back as an assistant cook, but I spend most of my time waiting tables and helping clean the guest rooms, typical inn work you know. . .” He pulled his shawl tighter when another cool breeze blew by him, but this time it was a bit chilly, so Vulpus shivered slightly against it.

Vulpus still hadn't' given her a name for the inn, but Rii had let that slip by, instead intently listening to the new information he had given her. It seemed the inn was in Termina though, a place Rii had been to before through her five years of travel. After all, it wasn't far from Hyrule. She pondered briefly what was wrong with cookware in Termina, but got distracted when Vulpus shivered and tightened his shawl around himself. "You've never been in ideal health, Vulpus. Sad, sad," Rii observed with a frown. She wondered what she would use to treat his natural disadvantage. "I guess I've never been to your inn then, or I might've said something. But it's not anything serious now. Hm... Why do you need to go all the way to Hyrule market for cookware? Have you ever been before?"
