Lien frowned again. What kind of Army DOES overtake the Termina's Clock Town and Hyrule? "What army are we exactly dealing with?"

Garen watched the progressing army make its way to the temple. Garen turned to his allies, "Prepare yourselves, the enemy draws near." He led his father into the temple where Azrael had his reunion with the poe. "Father, do you know where these battlemages reside?" He asked Jaru.
"Oh, my memory does not serve me well these days. It's been over 30 years since the seal has been placed. I do remember that they have built a room towards the back of the temple." Jaru confessed.
Garen turned to Azrael, "Azrael, you know this temple, correct? Can you lead me and my father to the battlemages, past the traps?"

"No idea," Argoth shrugged. "They just appeared one day."

Echoes of distorted words came back to Iona distantly. She saw a light at the end of the darkness and unwittingly ran to it. A few hurried steps ahead and in a distorted moment, the ground dropped away from her feet and hit bottom with a crash. Suddenly, it was pitch black. No light. Just dirt walls and complete darkness. After several frantic attempts to scale the flat walls, panic set in.
Iona felt like she was drowning in the blackness, that with each desperate breath the inky darkness was filling her lungs. It pressed against her. It seemed alive, all too real and malicious. The darkness seemed intent on making her part of its own. Robbed of sight, Iona pressed her hands to her eyes and out of sheer terror of her phobia, she screamed.

Eldrin had been preoccupied with sewing his loot bag closing, only loosely following the group. He hadn't payed attention to Lein's introduction, as he hadn't known Princey by his real name. Now that he looked up his eyes widened and his mouth curved into a smile.
"PRINCEY!!!" He cried, shoving everybody out of the way to get to Lien. He got to Lien and stood a little to close for comfort, grinning in a disturbing kind of way. He reached over as if to caress Lien's face. "Remember me?" He asked, plucking out one of Lien's eyelashes.

"It's good to see you again, Ben." Azrael said to the poe that was sitting on his chest.
"This is Ben. The spirit I left to guard this place before I left the desert a year ago." Azrael explained to the group. Torak looked at the poe and then returned his attention to the discussion about Termina and Hyrule being overun.

"Wait. Where'd that new girl go?" Blade asked, glancing around for ways she could have gone. Unfortunately he was at a disadvantage, he had never been to the Spirit Temple before, and he could not pick out Iona's scent.

"I assume Ben can lead us through the temple?" Garen asked Azrael.

Argoth turned to follow Garen, "Alrighty, lets do this so we can kill things," he said.

Lien Jumped away, slapping his hand over the eye that Eldrin had plucked the eyelash from. " Hey-hey-HEY! Mind the-" Lien stopped, his slightly pointed dragon ears inside his hood twitched as he picked up the faint scream from inside the temple. "Wait! I believe I heard a cry for help from inside the temple!"

"I heard it as well." Blade said, lending credit to Lien's comment.

Aetis had heard the scream the most clearly. He perked up. That was Iona's voice screaming. He guessed she couldn't find her way to them on her own. Of course she would make trouble before a battle! He was hungry to kill things, and she decided to go get hurt or something. Idiot girl. Unnoticed at the group's feet, he chose which person to hitch a ride on whether they decided to help her or fight.
Unlike Iona, he never forgot names. There was Eldrin, and he wouldn't trust the thief with the leftovers of his prey. There was Torak, and he just didn't have a good feeling about the man. Lien was just strange. Faro reeked of dark magic. He just didn't know Garen. He threw himself on Azrael and wrapped his body around his shoulders, his chin on the top of his hood to see. He hissed at the monk, but spoke to him mentally. In all honesty, he just wanted to fight.

"It sounded like it came from this way. . . come on." Lien murmured, listening to the echo of the scream he had heard.

(Faro is not in the thread, Blade is. However, Faro does indeed reek of dark magic, so it's not entirely wrong.)
"Right." Blade fell in behind Lien. "You'd better be a good tracker. This place feels like a maze." He muttered to Lien.

Eldrin placed Lien's eyelash in his newly sewn bag and followed them. "It's like a treasure hunt, but with a Gerudo instead of rupees or gold!" He said happily. There was of course still an army waiting on the temple doorstep... But whatever...
