Name: Malachi
Age: 24
Sex: Male
Race: Hylian
Physical Description: Malachi stands at 6’2” in his full uniform, which consists of simple riding gear. A sturdy red shirt, dark brown pants with rugged, slightly heeled riding boots. A tan, elbow-length cloak embroidered with blue tribal designs and a curious depiction of a Molduga wearing a marching cap across the back conceals a few pieces of leather armor protecting the torso and shoulders. The cloak is completed by a hood for versatility in all climes, and can be quickly doffed if necessary.
Malachi’s hair is a striking red pulled back to keep clear from a pair of gentle green eyes. His triangular face sports four scars visible at a glance, the most prominent of which is drawn across his left cheekbone, and terminates dramatically on his ear, where a small piece of cartilage was abruptly removed at the same time. In addition, he sports a scar on his right temple, vertically across his chin, and a less dramatic wound on the fat of his right cheek.
Weapons: Bow, dagger
Likes: His comrades, cats, the sunrise
Dislikes: Swimming, shady clients
Alignment: Neutral Good
Biography: Malachi was found half-dead on the side of the road by the group’s youngest member, Alexandros. The group took him in, patched him up, and when they questioned him, they found something of a blank slate. Figuring it was exposure or perhaps one of his head wounds was more profound than they appeared, they decided to test him. They found a competent dagger-wielder with a strong sense for his surroundings. Though he used a few unorthodox moves during training, he was found to be a good fit and a capable soldier. The group assigned him to Alexandros’ caravan, and after just a few weeks the two are practically inseparable. Some of the caravanners hold misgivings about the newcomer, but they tend to go unheard, especially when the boss is around.
Name: Rania aka Al’Raees
Age: 30
Sex: Female
Race: Gerudo
Physical Description: Rania stands at 5’10” without her shoes, and possesses a well-sculpted physique. Her hair is the usual Gerudo red, and kept in a tight ponytail. While not as long as in her glory days, it still reaches the small of her back. Her features are incredibly sharp, even for a Gerudo, and her overall longer face shape gives her a statuesque appearance. She has hazel eyes.
Her full attire these days consists of red, heeled shoes that bring her height to a full 6’1”. Flowing royal purple pants are visible, but little else beneath the equally purple cloak that covers her from her from shoulder to knee. The back is embroidered with the Marching Molduga himself in gold thread, and a tribal Gerudo design along the hem compliments his presence. While she does wear a small collection of jewelry, close inspection reveals that her ears are not actually pierced.
Rania in her glory days of the Gerudo army.
Weapons: Rumors circulate about just how many knives the caravan leader conceals under her cloak, but two sizable shortswords are visible at her hips.
Likes: Her men, her business, maintaining a good relationship with her clients, and helping others find their purpose under her wing
Dislikes: Anything that could feasibly interfere with the above
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Biography: Rania was once an important woman in the Gerudo military, but after a fateful run-in with the Hero, she found herself without a post and without any girls under her command. She began taking odd courier jobs that brought her far and wide across Hyrule, and in a few years she had built up a respectable business transporting all manner of goods across disconnected regions. Along the way, she began to acquire runaways, survivors, and in general those who were otherwise down on their luck. She gave them a purpose, and led from the front, inspiring others to join her. This is the primary means of recruitment for the Marching Molduga, and it has yet to fail her. Rania’s business acumen is second only to her care for the wellbeing of her staff, and if left unchecked, the Marching Molduga will become a force to be reckoned with in the trading business.
Though more of a public face these days, there was a time when the name "Rania" was often uttered in the same breaths as "monsters" or "Ganon's army". As a result, many only know her by her title of "boss", or the alias "Al'Raees".
Name: Alexandros
Age: 12
Sex: Male
Race: Hylian
Physical Description: Alexandros is just above 5’4” with a messy mop of curly black hair and just a hint of baby fat left in his face. His eyes are a bright blue. Alexandros is very athletically built, and sports a small diagonal scar on his left eyebrow.
He wears the Marching Molduga uniform with pride, though his has recently been moved up a few sizes in anticipation of growth spurts as his next birthday looms.
Weapons: Shortbow, dagger
Likes: Riding on windy days, getting into fights, and anything with Rushrooms
Dislikes: Potions, getting caught, having to miss training, people calling him by the wrong name
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Biography: Alexandros was only 5 years old when a monster attack destroyed his village. Alexandros spent the next chapter of his life scraping what he could to survive, until he picked the wrong cart to steal from, and ran right into Rania as he turned to make his escape. The boy was initially afraid, he’d heard what caravanners did to thieves, but Rania was impressed with his ability to slip past the guards. After consulting the boy to patch up the hole he’d slipped through, Rania took him as an apprentice and began to teach him the finer points of combat, movement, and the caravan business itself. In short order, she reached the top of his list of people whom he trusted, signified by the fact that she was allowed to call him “Al”. As he grew, Alexandros found it annoying how people would change his name without his approval, and very quickly developed a system by which to categorize those he knew. Calling him by the wrong name was met a barrage of good-natured yet plausibly deniable pranks. Falling into line tended to improve the victim’s luck almost immediately. Through the ranks of Alexandros, to Alexander, to Alex, and finally Al, he crafted a measure of trust that doubled as a chain of command. Those with shorter name privileges commanded more of his attention, and for a long time only the boss commanded the highest level of respect.
That was until Alexandros found Malachi on the side of the road. He was the first person that Alexandros had been able to recruit, and the man’s simple demeanor combined with his skill in combat made him proud that he’d been the one to spot him. Alexandros considers Malachi the “little” brother he never had, and Malachi has been a prominent figure in the lives of both caravanners since.
