Faro saw the dragons and swore under his breath. "Varamir, what's Chandrea's status?"
"She is undetected." He replied coolly.
"Thank Din."
"This one no longer believes we are dealing with only a scout lance."
"Your grasp of the obvious is inspiring. Have Lorcren standby." Faro ordered. They reached the enemy force, attacking from a different angle than the others. A Dragonaian soldier made his way to Reimuno, tackling Lien to the ground.
"Sir! Reinforcements to the east!" He yelled to his commander, as he drew back his fist.

Lien choked as he felt the strong hands of a Soldier grabbing him and yanking the young prince away from Reimuno, struggling to reach down to get his dagger. Lien then pulled it out of its sheath and stabbed the diamond dagger into the Dragona soldier's forearm, slashing down to his wrist. The solider roared as he dropped Lien, hissing as he leered at the boy.
The boy twirled on the spot, stabbing out his diamond sword straight towards the Dragon's weak heart. But missed. He watched as the solider moved to the side and slammed a spinning kick into Lien's shoulder. Feeling the dirt pound against his shoulder, Lien used the energy from the kick to flip himself right on his feet, stopping the Dragonaian's scythe from injuring Lien.
"Move out the rest of you! Towards Hyrule Castle!" Reimuno commanded to the last few ranks of the mounted. They nodded and urged their stallions to move quickly around the fray to reach their destination. Seeing this, Lien went paled.
But of course he couldn't go after them, he had to handle both the Dragonian solider and now Reimuno who are rejoined the fray, dodging the commander's jagged Scimitar from slashing him open.

"Break off! Head for the calvary!" Faro and Varamir dug in their heels, and turned toward the mounted soldiers. Faro left a wall of fire behind him to discourage his pursuers.
"There is only one way to catch the mounted ones." Varamir said.
"You're right." Faro's eyes turned red, and he made a hard right, scooping up Varamir like a sack of grain. He ran toward the horses, his footfalls tearing apart the terrain. Much to the astonishment of the horsemen, Faro soon caught up to them. He dropped back, and started leaving fire in his path. He ran around the horsemen, trapping them in an oval of flame. "Nowhere left to run. For them at least."

Maximus witnessed the rest of the cavalry moving toward the castle. He immediately began to sprint for them but slipped on a deceased soldiers intestines, falling into them in a bloody heap. "Eeewwww," Max moaned as he sat upright and shook the blood from his hands. After standing up he realized it was futile to run after the horsemen anyway, he couldn't have caught up with them anyway. A gargantuan roar resonated through the sky and the young assassin looked upward to find several dragons circling the area. They were bound to land anytime now. Maximus smiled at the new foe, "Wooaaahhh, Dragons!" he said astonished.
Icylius had just finished choking two Dragonian soldiers to death with his mind when the cavalry made a break for the castle. He was about to fly in their direction when he heard the massive cry of the dragons above. "Great," he muttered looking above him.

Far from the battle. Oarashi watched from the shadow of the trees. He frowned when he had watched Faro create a wall of fire to stop the calvary. "Fool," Sappho muttered, "Dark Dragons are immune to fire and dark magic. . . " No sooner had he said this, the horses let out a niegh as their riders urged them on, leaping through the wall of hot flames one by one and continued on their way. A couple of horsemen stayed behind to take on Faro and Varamir from pursuing them. At this rate it seems like he has no choice but to pursue the remaining calvary. With a flick of his hand, Oarashi ripped off his layers of kimono to expose the Sea Dragona uniform underneath and slipped on his half face mask, leering icily at the advancing rank.
Meanwhile, one fo the dark dragons had landed on Hyrule Fiel, it's massive, 50 foot long body swerved to leer at Max, his tail flickering. The thick scales gleamed in the sunlight, then as fast as an eye winking, the massive beast lashed out his tail at the boy.
Another dark dragon flew by Icylius, pouring down a wave of white fire in an attempt to scorch him before flying back into the air with the beat of his powerful wings.
Lien grunted as he blocked Reimuno's slash before shoving him away, twirling to met the Dragona solider trying to ambush Lien from behind. The young dragon prince stabbed his sword straight through the solider's gem centered right over the man's heart. Reimuno watched as his man fell, and with a roar of anger, lashed out at Lien, taking the boy off guard and slashed a deep wound on Lien's shoulder. With a cry, the dragon boy slammed back, dropping his dagger as he clutched his bleeding shoulder. Hissing at Reimuno, Lien held his diamond sword in his good arm tightly and blocked another sword slash from Reimuno, knocking it aside and cut his cloak as the young prince slashed back at Reimuno.

Something rushed past Icylius, a black blur with a splash of red. A man jumped into the air, catching onto the dragon's tail as it ascended into the heavens. He climbed up the tail, clinging tightly to it as the dragon whipped it around violently. Finally reaching the dragon's back, he drew a long, one sided serrated sword. Slowly, but steadily, he walked across the dragon's back, struggling against the fierce wind and turbulent flight. Finally, he reached the beasts massive wings. Aiming for a tiny gap in the dragon's scales, he stabbed his sword into the joint between the wing and the body. The red haired man dug his serrated sword into the wound. Once the serrated sword was deeply embedded into the dragon's joint, he began shifting it back and forth. The blades serrated edge tore through the dragon's muscles and tendons, rendering the wing useless. The dragon roared in agony and spiraled downward through the clouds.
The man clung to the crippled wing for his life as they plummeted to the field below. The dragon crashed into the ground and skidded, ripping the earth up in a massive trench at least a mile long. The man was flung off of the beast's back, barely managing to yank out his blade in time, and sent tumbling through the grass.
As he returned to his feet he felt the dragon's blazing hot breath on the back of his neck. He spun around to see the monstrous dragon looming over him ominously. The dragon lunged for him but the man dived forward, slipping under its chin just in time. The man dragged his blade across the bottom of the dragon's jaw as he ran. He aimed a stab at the dragon's heart, but the beast shifted to the side just as he stabbed. His blade sunk between the dragon ribs just to the left of the heart. The dragon let out an earsplitting roar and rose to its hind legs. The man ripped out his blade just in time and back flipped out of the way of a stream of fire.
He ran forward and slashed twice, carving an 'X' into the dragon's soft belly, releasing a wave of blood spilling across the grass. He kicked off of the dragon's belly and sent himself soaring up at the dragon's heart. Before he could stab the heart, the dragon spun around and smacked him with its good wing. While he was still in midair, the dragon whipped its tail at him, swatting him out of the air like a fly. The man slammed into the ground and rolled, dropping his weapon in the process. He quickly returned to his feet and retrieved his sword. He rolled out of the way as the dragon spit out another blast of white fire, scorching the land around them.
Regaining his footing, the man charged at the dragon, this time faster than before. He jumped at the dragon, thrusting his serrated blade into the beast's heart. The blade sank in, all the way to the hilt, tearing the heart to shreds on the inside. The dragon let out a deafening roar that soon faded to a mere whimper. The dragon swooned, then crashed to the ground below, crushing countless soldiers beneath it. The dragon convulsed once, then died. The man stood and dusted himself off. With some effort, he ripped his serrated sword from the dragon's chest, loosing a fountain of blood.
The soldiers around him didn't seem at all frightened by the fact that he had just slain a dragon. Rather, they seemed quite eager to get at him. The red haired man jumped into the battle before him hacking, slashing, and ripping his foes with his serrated blade.

Appearing seemingly from nowhere, the woman looked to be an apparition or something divine in a pure white and fitted linen dress. She clearly wasn't from Hyrule or Termina, but didn't seem lost as she calmly accessed the situation and dodged blows from soldiers or simply walked past others stunned by her appearance on a battlefield. More than one told her to leave, it wasn't the place for a woman. She ignored them. Even as one grabbed her beautiful dark brown and auburn curly hair in his hand and yelled at her to leave, she only rather serenely snapped his neck. But most soldiers were simply stunned, as she wasn't ugly in the least.
A mighty double headed spear was clutched in one of her hands, and a dagger and a strange pouch tied by a red sash at her hips, she could handle herself, but she wasn't here to fight; she was just curious. She was tattooed, two iridescent and light crimson wings started at the edges of her eyes and extended to her temples. An elaborate sun tattoo was inked under her wrist. She wasn't a delicate woman; she was built strongly but still slenderly, and she easily lifted two men out of her way, with one hand was if they were air, such was her ability. She came upon a horribly killed dragon and studied it. As she lifted her eyes from the sight, she caught a red haired man running into the fray. She paled. "Sanger?" she whispered. She paused, debating whether to join the battle, moving away to the stinking corpse of the dragon for protection absently as a solider swung his sword at her.

"I trust you can handle this." Faro said to Varamir. "The enemy faces a zero percent chance of survival." Varamir stated in the same cool and calm voice. Faro's eyes turned red once again, and two ring-shaped pulses of pale blue energy sliced through Faro's jacket, revealing two tattoos of the same shape beneath. The blue light radiated through these rings, and the glow was visible to about four inches in the sun. Faro turned ran after the cavalry, catching up to them much quicker this time. One of the cavalry riders inside the circle attempted to follow Faro, there was a dark blue blur, and the man was thrown from his horse. His body landed outside the flame and lay motionless. The other cavalrymen stopped, stunned. Varamir motioned for them to come at him.
Faro reached the foremost man in the cavalry charge, and expertly avoided his scythe attacks. Faro moved in close, his right hand covered in a knotted black substance. He slammed his fist into the horse's leg, breaking the bone and sending the helpless rider to the ground. Faro quickly killed him with a boot to the throat. He grabbed the rider's scythe, and killed his horse out of mercy. Faro charged the closest horseman, and tore his mount's haunches apart. The horse neighed in pain, and Faro finished both horse and rider with the scythe. A third horseman charged at Faro, scythe held high. Faro moved out of the way, planting the scythe he was holding inside the charging horse’s neck. The horse dropped to the ground, already dead. The rider managed to get up before Faro could murder him, but was almost afraid to take a swing at him. The soldier swallowed his fear and attacked with his scythe. Faro moved inside the scythe’s range and caught the shaft; broke it apart like a toothpick, then discarded the bladed end. He broke the shaft again, this time he broke the portion between the user’s hands, leaving him with two rather short sticks. He kicked the man in the chest and pounced, tackling him to the ground. He drew back his hand, and delivered a bone-shattering blow to the man’s head. He retrieved his stolen scythe from the dead horse, and waited for another horseman to charge at him.

An excited grin stretched across Max's face as the massive dragon landed in front of him. He wasn't in the least bit intimidated or afraid of the gargantuan beast. "I'll kill you with just this dagger. No shapeshifting at all," he said. The dragon let out an ear shattering roar and spewed out a massive lance of fire in the boy's direction. Max immediately responded by leaping and rolling out of the way, but unfortunately he wasn't fast enough and the edge of his clothing burst into flame. He hit the ground rolling out the fire that so tenaciously clung to his attire. When Max returned to his feet his shirt was tattered hand hanging from his waist. Nothing but his pants were left on him, flaunting his muscular torso. "Aweehhh, my shirt!" he complained, "You're gonna pay for that one!" And he rushed the dragon head on.
Icylius stood still as the dragon landed in front of him, clearly not impressed. He was about to engage it in battle when something or somone blurred in out of nowhere and stole it from him. Icylius sighed and shrugged, "Oh well," he mumbled and began walking forward, silently challenging anyone to take him on.
(I didnt have time for a huge battle scene, sorry, and I'm tired with a pounding headache, thats why its not so good. I'll get in the awesome battle scene on my next post)

(( Errr, Guys, I've been rereading 'Flight of the Revenge' and . . . . well, not to sound like a Ninny-Nanner, but uh. . . All of you guys are EXTREMELY invincible (yes, Argoth, sadly even though Max's shirt caught on fire, he himself escaped unharmed) And you are all killing soldiers that ultimately can turn into dragons AT WILL left to right like you were weeding the backyard of an abandoned house with a backhoe and weed spray.
Look I know we agreed to have a thread where we can specifically kill things, but seriously. . . this is actually taking it too far. Eldrin, I absolutely LOVED your post with Sanger and how he had slain the dragon. . . but dude. . . I think you are going way overboard with the weapons. Not sure if you have ever tried fighting, let alone Run, with a Longsword. I know how each sword is placed on Sanger (I've read the bio) but dude, a longsword, a sabre, Katana, Gladius, a Flachion and whatever your idea of a Serrated sword is and he still runs as fast as a blur? Er..... I'm sure he's a sort of assassin dude and if he is, huge weapons are a no-no, Heck, even in Naruto, if you don't count those crazy huge stars and Zabuza's guillotine-like sword, they do use small weapons. Besides, if you are a skilled enough swordsman, only one sword can do a lot of damage. Heck Look at Kenshin, he has only one sword and he still kicks everyone's ass for a fictional character, and his sword is modified to not even have a sharp killing edge on the outside of the sword. I'm not telling you of course to drop every weapon, you can still keep them, but er. . . try not to go out of control with how many he's carrying and using at once. I can't even wield a Foam longsword without having to use both hands, so weight Isn't the issue, it's more how you can control a long thin weapon.
And as for the rest of everyone. Really, these aren't farmers you aren't killing, these are men who have been through quite number of Wars themselves so [while I am too lazy to post their actions and attacks], you guys are roleplaying them as if they are blind mice by killing every single one of them with one-two hits. Also, these aren't Arab horses with thin legs, these are heavy draft, beefy, 'I-can-crush-your-skull-in-with-a-kick' horses. You're all mercilessly killing them like nothing as well. And what irks me even more is that none of you guys even have a weakness/show any signs of fatigue. I know Lien is pathetically getting his butt kicked and he ISN'T the ideal of weakness (he really doesn't want to kill Reimuno that's why he's getting tossed about like a ragdoll), but realistically, there would be at least one guy that would outsmart your character even just for two moves.
Yes, I know this is a fantasy, yes this is a thread to kill things, but don't it so damn Mary-sueishly. For Pete's sakes, if I go back and count how many men we killed, I'm sure it dropped drastically to 20. I started out with 50 because I was looking forward to having a good long fight and instead I had to be force to actually call in Reinforcements by the second action of attack I had Lien do!
Sure, if I had an army of one thousand like the "Gates of Garen part 3", or "Abomination", then go ahead and go all out crazy and slaughter everything you see. But slow down really here on the killing please.
Now, I'm not expecting all of you guys to drop like flies and get the crap beat out of you by horses and grass and then kill like one solider every other post, but all I'm asking is to go ahead Have FUN, but do not go "bloodbath" overload here and outside of "The flight of the Revenge" thread.
I'm sorry if I made anyone mad (Hopefully Not, but if I did, feel free to note me) but all I'm asking is to well, reconsider what you are typing really and just keep things, not so "grand theft auto cheat mode" like. Again, I'm sorry to be a prissy ninny-nanner but I just couldn't help but speak out. . . . thank you to anyone who actually read this mess I typed up at 6 in the morning. . . ))

(Haha I totally see what you are getting at Lien. And yes, it is definitely needed that we make our characters less invincible. And I had no idea that the ENTIRE army could magically change into dragons at will. Doesnt that make us totally F***ed"? Haha, I mean, if we arent invincible here we are so dead. 50 dragon people who change into freaking dragons against a nine year old boy, a prince, an antisocial teenager, a demon assassin, a thief, and some new guy that I didnt read the bio on, if we arent at least slightly invincible here, you know what I am saying. But yes, I understand where you are coming from and am totally with you. I got a bit carried away in my first post with that, my bad. There havent been any threads where I could unleash my killing creativity in a long time, so I got all excited and murdered the shit out of them all, Sorry. This kinda opened my eyes to how I do things with my characters when they fight, and I plan on making Max a little less than invincible from now on and especially since he only has a dagger do defend himself against a dragon. I think this should be a rule of some sort. Oh and Lien, I hope you realize what you have just done...you have just given us all more things to put in our posts, which means...REALLY REALLY LONG POSTS!! Muahahahahahah!!!)
The dragon lowered its head all the way to the ground facing the young assassin, and belched out another massive wave of fire. Maximus had absolutely no time to react, he was way too close to the dragon for evasion. His life seemed to flash before his eyes when suddenly the fire before him stopped abruptly, washing over some unseen barrier. Max looked around jumped a little as he realized Icylius standing next to him, his hand outstretched towards the fire. "You should be more careful, kid," Icylius warned. Beads of sweat condensed on his forehead from the strain of holding the telekinetic shield, the dragon's fire was hammering it with extreme force. Icylius managed to hold out and the fire subsided when the dragon had to take another breath. He released the barrier and exhaled hard. "Thanks!" Max said giving Icylius a heartwarming smile. The boy leaped forward brandishing his tiny dagger over his head, he let out a battle cry as he sailed through the air. The dragon instantaneously sent an enormous claw in Max's direction, in an attempt to swat him out of the air. It's attempt was thwarted as Icylius sent a small blast of telekinesis to knock the dragons attack off course just enough to miss the young assassin. "You owe me," he mumbled, panting.
The dragon roared in rage as it missed its target and Maximus plunged his dagger into the exposed flesh of the dragons belly. It cried out again, this time in pain, and Max's eardrums almost exploded from being so close to the beast. This time the magnificent dragon raised both arms and plunged them in Max's direction, in an attempt to smash him between them. Max kicked off just in time and the dragon missed him once again. That little scratch isn't gonna get me anywhere, I'm gonna have to go for the eyes if I want to take this thing down, he pondered.
Icylius noticed the boy planning in his head and came to the same conclusion he had, "Hey kid! I'll take care of the fire, you just get to the dragon's eyes," he yelled. Closing his own eyes for a moment Icylius began to focus, readying himself for heavy use of his psychokinetic powers. When he opened them his expression was solid determination and concentration. "Alright, go."
Maximus was already moving before Icylius even gave the order. He moved in a serpentine figure to avoid the dragons attacks. A massive claw came smashing into the ground next to him as he ran, shaking the earth so violently he began to stumble and fall. The dragon immediately responded by lowering its head and casting forth a sheet of flame that scorched the ground in its wake. Max turned his fall into a roll and instantly returned to his feet and continued to run at the dragon. The huge wall of fire that sped its way toward him was halted by an unseen force, and casually rolled over it ceasing to reach the boy. An unexpected attack came next, the dragon whipped around in a full three sixty sending its tail at Maximus at what seemed like super sonic speeds. The young assassin did his best to leap over it but could not fully make the jump and the dragon's tail clipped his legs. Maximus was sent tumbling sideways through the air before making contact with the ground on his back, expelling all the air from his lungs. He lay there for a moment, not moving, trying to regain possession of oxygen to his lungs. The dragon instantly followed up by looming over its prey and bombarding him with another surge of fire.
Again Icylius came through with deflecting the fire from Maximus, giving him enough time to recover from the ground. The boy returned to his feet, determination and perseverance set in stone inside his mind. All the commotion of battle around him faded out as he concentrated on getting to his opponents weak point. There was only so much he could do, his opponent was ten times bigger than he was, and getting on top of its head proved to be an extremely difficult task. But he refused to give up, so little Max rushed in once more leaping up at the dragons torso. Immediately the dragon sent a massive claw in his direction, but this time the young assassin was ready for it. He changed his position in the air and rolled right over the dragons appendage while simultaneously latching an arm onto it. Max was now desperately holding onto his opponents finger as it completed its swing, and before the dragon noticed he hadn't struck him Max was already on top of the dragon's hand and sprinting up its arm.
He had reached the dragon's shoulder before a large gust of wind from its wings sent him careening through the air. Max hit the ground with a loud Thud of impact and was sent rolling across the burnt grass at the speed of sound. The rolling stopped just before Icylius's feet, and the young assassin lay there in a heap, groaning from the pain. Icylius reached down and helped Max up from the ground, "Thanks again, aaagh, damn my shoulder and ribcage are killing me. I think I might have broken a couple of ribs, and my shoulder is badly bruised," he complained. "You need me to step in?" Give you a break, kid?" Max instantly scowled at Icylius and retorted, "Absolutely not! This dragon is mine. I'll deal with the pain. Don't worry about me." Icylius shrugged and backed away, giving the kid plenty of space to go at it again.
The surge of adrenalin in Max's system quickly dulled the pain in his ribcage and shoulder, and without hardly any recovery he was back in it again, rushing the dragon head on. Although this time, while the boy leaped at the dragon to try the same trick one more time he was suddenly lifted through the air and up above the dragons head. "There, that oughtta help," Icylius whispered to himself. Max was high above the dragons head and could easily have landed onto it. Unfortunately, the dragon raised its head upward and opened its enormous mouth, and Max was headed straight for it. The boy's eyes widened to the size of the sun and his heart rate sped up to about the speed of light.
It took Icylius a little longer to process what was happening. His little attempt to help the child reach the dragons head had taken a turn for the worst. He had launched him too high, and was now in perfect alignment with the dragons mouth. And to further the misfortune Icylius noticed that no fire was emerging from its mouth, it was going to swallow Maximus whole. "Shit!" he breathed, and before he could react the boy plunged feet first into the belly of the beast.
Maximus tried his best not to panic, but since he was being swallowed by a freaking dragon it seemed almost impossible. Instinct and reflex immediately kicked in and he slammed his dagger into the esophagus of the dragon, and he slowly slid to a halt about halfway down its throat. Max let out a quiet sigh of relief, but still had no clue as to how he was going to escape. Suddenly a bright light appeared at the bottom of the dragon's throat, and it took him no less than a second to contemplate what was happening. The dragon was calling forth its fire to roast him alive inside itself. Icylius couldn't save him now. He was all alone, and as the fire crept closer and closer the fear of death was standing right at the front of his mind. At this point Max's eyes turned completely white, just like they had back at Lake Hylia, and the demon inside him took complete control of his body.
He let go of the dagger and slammed his forearms together out in front of him. Both arms instantly converged and transformed into one full shield that spanned the entirety of the dragons esophagus. As the fire reached him the pressure pushed young Max out of the beast's throat and out into the open air, straight above the dragon. While Max hurtled toward the earth he suddenly gained control of himself again, and hadn't realized what was happening until it was too late. The giant beast was ready for the young assassin and just before he hit the ground its massive tail smashed into his gut and sent him tumbling across the grass at subsonic speeds. As Max crashed to a halt his mind quickly failed him, the pain he suffered was too great and he slipped away into unconsciousness.
Icylius couldn't believe his eyes, everything happened so fast. And he was even more surprised when the boy shot back out of the dragon on a fountain of flame. Icylius was just about to sprint over to Max when a huge fist blindsided him right in the left cheek sending him sprawling to the ground. He shook his head as stars fluttered his vision but managed to get a good look at his attacker. A dragonian soldier stood over him, sword raised and a huge smile on his face. He mouthed the word 'die' before plunging his blade straight for his heart.

(And if you look to the right you'll see Argoth proving once again that the only people who can tell Faro and Blade apart are the actual characters.)
A massive gust of wind blew in Faro's direction, a terrified horse was tossed about by the gale. Faro looked to the source to see a massive dragon taking flight before him.
Ganon didn't tell us they could all do that. A voice within Faro said. The dragon rose to about twenty feet, and charged at Faro, it's maw wide open. This isn't the best time. Faro replied. The dragon exhaled a massive wall of flame, that washed over Faro like tidal wave. When the fire subsided, his stolen scythe was nothing more than ash and molten steel, yet Faro stood unharmed. The dragon landed in front of him, roaring in anger and disbelief. "You aren't the only who can take the heat." Faro said to the beast. The dragon regrouped to the air. When it looked down again to see Faro obscured by a massive fire ball. He fired the ball of plasma at the dragon, who was lazy in avoiding it, causing it to impact his wing. The ball exploded, and the physical force behind the explosion broke several parts of it's wing structure, sending it into a downward spiral that ultimately ended in a crash landing. The dragon stood on all fours, it's other wing rendered useless by the crash. "Damn."
Well you didn't expect it to die from that, did you? The voice asked. I was kind of hoping... Faro admitted. The dragon charged at Faro and lunged at him. Faro threw a firball at the dragon's head to escape. We should break the third. The voice said. I can manage, this isn't the first dragon I've fought. Faro threw another fireball at the dragon's head. The creature's head flew back from the explosion. Faro grabbed another scythe as the dragon charged at him, and attempted to attack Faro with his tail. Faro narrowly avoided it to find the dragon pulling bnack it's massive foot. He dug the scythe into the dragon's chest and lifted himself up the shaft to avoid the claw swipe that came shortly after. The dragon looked down at Faro, at and let at him with a torrent of flame. Faro raised a hand and absorbed all of dragon's fire, leaving him with a flaming right arm. He let go of the scythe, and leapt and the dragon's gemstone. It tried to escape, but found itself trapped by tendrils that had risen from the ground, binding it legs and tail. Faro drew back his flaming hand and hit the dragon's gem with all his force. The explosion shattered the gemstone and tore up the dragon's insides. The tendrils snapped up and punched through the beast's body to keep it from falling on Faro, while rising up and over Faro to catch the nearly unconscious dragonslayer. "Volvagia doesn't have legs." said a dark copy of Faro. "Doesn't have a gem on his chest either." Faro remarked. He got up, and one could see the right elbow of coat was torn. "Looks like I'll need a new one of these."
(disclaimer: I have no idea what the gems are, I assumed they were dragonhearts that could be shattered with enough force, if not there's still the massive internal damage, either way, Faro just murdered a dragon.

Before the tip of the sword could reach Icylius, a chained weight lunged and wrapped itself around the Dragona Soldier's sword. The yanked chain caused the solider to miss and instead dig the tip of the sword into the ground right next to a stunned Icylius. Surprised, the dark dragon warrior quickly looked up to see a man rushing at him before smashing his foot in a flying kick right into the guard's face.
The new stranger yanked the chain free from the loose sword and turn to look at Icylius. "Hey, are you alright?" he asked. But his attention was called to his left as he heard a solider roar as he tried to slice the strange with his Scimitar. Blocking the sword with his chain, the man wrapped one arm quickly around the sword to ensnare the jagged edge with the thick chain. He yanked the guard forward and slashed a deep cut right across his chest and kicked him square in the chest away.
As for Lien, he was engaged in his duel with Reimuno, going on defense mode to avoid accidentally killing the general he was fighting against. "Please Reimuno! Stop this! We don't need any more bloodshed on our already small populace!" Lien pleaded, ducking a sword swipe to his head.
"I swear I'm going to make the Royal Hylain family pay for setting their champions on our brethren! " He roared, locking blades with Lien as he leered at him. "Why don't you see that young Prince!/ If we let these abominations live, they'll only kill all of us until there's nothing left of Dragona at all!"
With a grunt, he swiped Lien off. forcing the young prince to jump back and take his battle stance again. "But you're not giving them a chance Reimuno! You are only allowing Artof to control you and just kill aimlessly! He is going to kill off the Dragon race if he keeps this up-!" Lien was cut off as he narrowly staggered to the side to avoid a jump attack from Reimuno.
"Don't you dare question Artof's decisions Prince!"

Icylius groaned as he returned to his feet, his body ached and he acquired a headache the equivalent of having one's head split with an axe. He eyed the strange man for a moment and then nodded, "Yeah, I'm okay," he replied. Then he remembered young Max crumpled onto the ground, unconscious. "The boy," he said aloud, as if to remind himself. Icylius made his way over to him and knelt down to assess the kid's injuries. Max had a large bruise that spanned over his abdominal region, another on his shoulder, and another on his ribcage. The boy wasn't severely injured, but it was gonna take a while for him to recover. Maximus began to regain consciousness as Icylius was knelt over him. Slowly at first, just enough to open his eyes. His head pounded, and he had the feeling there was a large lump on the back of his head. Max propped himself up on his elbows and looked over at Icylius. "Look out!" he yelled, swiftly moving in to block the dragonian soldier as he attempted to drive his sword into Icylius's neck. An adrenaline surge coursed through Max and he thrust his arm over the telekinetic's left shoulder and blocked the blade as it swooped in.
Icylius reacted instantly, rolling away to the side and pushing himself to his feet. He punched the soldier in the face, reinforcing it with a psychokinetic push. The man's head whip-lashed to the left and he stumbled away from the downed boy. To make sure the soldier wouldn't be returning, Icylius thrust both his arms outward and unleashed a violent torrent of psychokinetic energy. The dragonian warrior was just recovering from the assault on his face when the wave hit him like a wrecking ball. It tossed the man through the air as if he weighed absolutely nothing, rag dolling him across the grass as he connected with it. Icylius had no doubt that the man was severely injured or possibly dead. With that in mind he returned to Maximus, who was making attempts to sit upright all the way. "Here kid, let me help," he offered, bending down to get a shoulder under Max's arm. The kid was considerably shorter than he was, so to compensate Icylius had to slouch while holding him up. "Thanks," Max said, looking up at Icylius.
The dragon that had previously devastated the young boy had not forgot about them, and as Icylius and Maximus limped away to a safer position the dragon took to the sky. It bellowed out a roar that shook the very atmosphere it was flying in, and swooped down at Icylius and Maximus. "Shit, the dragon is back for more," Icylius growled. And to make the situation worse, several dragonian soldiers had noticed them and were vastly approaching from ahead. Maximus noticed Icylius was frowning so hard his eyebrows almost met his lips, "Don't worry, we can beat 'em," Max encouraged grinning up at Icylius. "I am afraid you are in no condition to fight, and I am just about spent on my mental capabilities," Icylius replied. "Hey kid, hand me that dagger." Maximus did so, relinquishing his only weapon over to Icylius. The telekinetic set Max on the ground and stood over him, brandishing the knife up to his chest in ready position. Max winced in pain as Icylius tried his best to put him down lightly and said, "I can fight too, these bruises are nothing," Max said, trying to coax Icylius into letting him join in battle. "Nahh kid, just sit there, I'll take care of this one."
The dragonian warriors were almost within striking distance and the dragon was closing in fast as well.
(The battle scene shall be in my next post, this one is long enough already)
