Silently, Lien had sat on one of the dilapated walls set oustide in Hyrule Field. He watched intently at the border of Hyrule he knew laid on the otherside of the mountains surrounding the Hyrule Field Valley. Earlier, his friend had sent word by hawk that the Dragona Army had risen from it's dormant slumber.
His ears twitched as he heard a horse galloping his way, but didn't move from his perch. "I sent a message to the Assassins guild. Hopefully they have recieved it." Panted the sea Dragon, reigning his horse to a stop.
"I hope so, we will need all the help we can-" Lien paused. Then smirked. "It seems that the assassins have gotten our message of help." Lien spoke, as he and Oarashi both turn to see who was coming up the hill to them.

Maximus strode up the hill and over to Lien, "Hiya!" Max greeted with a huge smile on his face. "Torak should be coming soon, and Blade. At least I think. I kinda skimmed your message though, heh, so all I really know is that bad guys plan to show up and I get to help fight them." Max's excitement was almost uncontainable, he had never fought dragon people before. And he was itching to give his new ability a try.
Icylius was wandering Hyrule field, his mind deep in thought. He hadn't even noticed anyone up on the hill, but by the time he did it was already too late. Maximus had noticed him. "Hey! I remember you! Come over here and join us!" he yelled.
Icylius immediately turned around to try and leave in the opposite direction, but the young assassin was already upon him.
Max ran over to Icylius and grabbed him by the hand, "Stop being so antisocial, you need friends. So I'm gonna make you some."
Icylius rolled his eyes and for a just a second a small smile appeared on his face, but once he realized it the smile quickly faded. He had to admire the kids tenacity, "Hey kid, let go of me," Icylius demanded.
Max led him to the rest of his friends and introduced him to everyone, "Hey guys! This is Icylius. He has social problems," Max announced, smiling.

"Heh, you seem excited. . . But the Dark Dragons are foes to not toy with. They might be a bit rusty on their fighting, but they have the curse of the bloodlust on their side. . . Accidentally activate the Bloodlust and you will feel the wrath of a blood-thirsty beast that you have never seen before." Lien warned him, feeling the breeze starting to pick up into a gale. The scent of dark magic wafted in the air, confirming his suspicions that the Dark Dragons would try to breach the Hyrulean borders here. " I fear they are intending on attacking Hyrule Castle, so we must do the best we can from preventing them from even reaching the town. To these humans, seeing a dragon will just set off a wave of panic we do not need for them to have."

Eldrin walked along the top of the wall, holding his arms out to stabilize himself. Before long the thief came upon Lien, Oarashi, and Maximus and Icylius. Without a word he dived off of the wall and tackled Max. "So... What's going on?" He asked as he struggled with the young assassin.

Max laughed as he wrestled the thief to the ground, he would win this time. While in the midst of their sprawl Max said, "Oh I know, I'm just excited is all. These dragon guys sound real powerful. I wanna fight em, but don't worry! I know not to underestimate them." Max grabbed Eldrin by the head and tried his hardest to put him in a headlock.
Icylius frowned, "Dragons, hm." Unlike the boy Icylius was indifferent about fighting, he only had to when necessary, and if he was going to be dragged into this then it definitely was. "How soon until they get here?" he asked.

"Not too soon. . ." Lien replied, hearing a distant rumble. The sound of hooves beating the gorund. Lien stood up on the wall, trying to see the army coming in from the mountain path. Oarashi on the other hand, started to back down when he saw the man at the head of the army troops, looking a bit uneasy as he eyed Lien, making sure he was watching the Dragona army. "Don't attack yet. . ."

Icylius noticed Oarashi becoming apprehensive but said nothing. He figured it had something to do with what they were about to face.
Maximus put a hand over his forehead to block the sun and peered out look at the oncoming army. "Who is that guy? The one leading them," Max asked.

Eldrin released Maximus and watched the man leading the army. He looked around for the other assassins but nobody had shown up. "Great... Five of us against an army..." He thought, hopping onto the wall next to Lien. He considered just fleeing, but the army was too close. If they tried to sneak or run away now they would just make an easy target for the archers... Assuming Dragonian armies used archers. He fiddled with Avarice as he waited, making sure it was tight.

Lien watched the army coming closer. "Reimuno. . . One of the King Artof's men if I remember clearly. It seems they have spotted us." The dragon boy noted as Reimuno had suddenly diverted the small Dragona army of 50 soliders towards them.
Oarashi on the other hand simply dissappeared, leaving pratically no trace of where he went. Now pulling a few yards from Lien, the army came to a halt, their draft steeds snorting and pawing the ground in anticipation to continue their journey further, but Reimuno signal the men to stay back as he urged his steed forward. He was a huge man, possibly six feet, his body build was pratically almost all muscle under his shoulder guard and chest plate armor. He also wore a similar style of uniform Lien had, in fact so did all of the men behind Reimuno. "Well. . . Lien, I had a feeling you were not dead, expecially since I've noticed that almost none of my men show up from their missions here," Reimuno spoke, his voice heavily accented (Think spainish accent). He looked at the small group the had flanked behind Lien, just merely chuckling. "I see you brought reinforcemnets, are you trying to stop me from venturing into Hyrule castle you are?"
"If it's to stop the King Artof's attempt at expending his borders then yes, we are. . . . " Lien answered back coldly, only getting a laugh back from Reimuno.

Eldrin stood on his tiptoes and counted the army. The straight lines and formations made it fairly easy. "Well, about fifty..." He said, dropping from the wall. "So all we have to do is fight ten each... We can all kill ten dragons on our own, I'm sure." He said, the last part sarcastic.

Maximus smiled as all the soldiers showed up and began morphing his arms into weapons. His right arm shifted into a blade, and his left morphed into a massive spike. "I'm sorry, we can't let you go any farther. Which one of you wants do die first?" Max asked rather excitedly.
Icylius just looked over the army with a blank stare, he had no interest in their purpose for attacking Hyrule. He didn't say anything and waited for the enemy to make their move.

"So you think you can halt me so easily? Right then. . . we will see about that won't we then. . . Young Prince?" Reimuno chuckled as he addressed Lien, then yell out a command in the Dragonian tongue, promting the first line of soilders to charge at them. Line whipped his sword out and leapt off the wall as Reimuno slammed down his jagged scimiter, missing the young dragon prince by a few inches as the deep grey sword send up a shower of sparks into the air from the stone wall. The horse reared up and lashed out his hooves, forcing Lien to jump back away from the army commander.
"Quick! move now!" Lien ordered, blocking another sword swipe with his diamond sword. The first line of men where armed with either a jagged scimitar, or a cresent-shaped scythe, attacking Maxius, Icylius and Eldrin.

Faro stood on a hill some distance away.
"The enemy is already under attack. This one believes we should let them battle the enemy on their own." Suggested a cool voice coming from inside a suit of armor. The armorsuit was thin and around Faro's height. The plating was dark blue and the biceps, neck, and upper thigh were a black, more flexible material. The fingers ended in points, as did the feet. Five strips of leather trailed from the back; at the end of each was a weight in the shape of a pseudosphere. The helmet had a single horizontal slit at eye level, and a dark blue ponytail originated from the top of the helmet and trailed down to the ankle.
"We have our orders, Varamir. We distract the enemy scouts while Chandrea finds out why they're here. If those five die because we were lazy, our chance of success goes down." Faro replied.
"This one will do as you command." Varamir rushed into the fray with Faro following close behind

Maximus leaped forward and slammed his spike arm into the first man who dared come close enough. The spike penetrated through the soldiers entire body, protruding out the back. Max dragged him off his horse and held the mans limp body above his head. Blood dripped from Max's weapon arm as he casually lifted the carcass up and whipped it into a crowd of Dragona soldiers. It crashed into their rank with tremendous force, knocking the whole front row down, horses and all. Max sprinted toward the fallen men and leaped into their midst. He began hacking and slashing and stabbing his way through them. Blood and guts erupted in his wake, slashing stomachs open, splitting skulls in half, and slicing limbs off. The carnage Maximus was producing was amazing and horrible at the same time, and he had only dispatched seven soldiers so far. A not so dead soldier cried out and Max ended his suffering with a stab to the heart.
Another four surrounded him but kept their distance from the young assassin. They formed a sort of square around him, picking a corner and attacking two at a time, rotating positions as they would follow through. Max parried a scimitar from the first rider and ducked under a the scythe of another. As the scythe bearing soldier galloped past him Max struck out and slammed his spike arm through the front right leg of the horse he was riding. The rider and horse collapsed immediately, and as the soldier was falling through the air Maximus swung his sword arm in a magnificent arch that sliced the man in two from the waist down. Organs and blood splashed out onto the already reddened ground. The other soldiers looked down in disgust at their fallen comrade. Maximus took advantage of this split second distraction and leaped at the nearest soldier thrusting his spike arm out at his sternum. Unfortunately, his opponent reacted quickly enough to where the giant spike missed his torso and tore right through his left shoulder. The spike mangled and ripped his shoulder to shreds as max yanked it to the side. His arm was hanging from only skin at that point. The screaming soldier fell from his horse and onto the ground, where the young boy finished him with a spike to the gut.
Both of the remaining Dragona horsemen looked at each other in horror and decided to attack Maximus at the same time. Max was standing right in between them when he rolled to the side just before the horsemen passed to strike at him. The soldier on the right's horse passed right over Max but as it did he completely obliterated them both. As the horse was just over the assassin's back he forced his arms back to normal and out from the center of his back erupted an enormous spike. It was so massive that it spit the entire horse in half and severed the riders right leg straight from his pelvis. The soldier went sailing though the air and smashed into the ground about ten yards from where Max stood. Max retracted the colossal spike from his back and reformed his blade on his right arm. He walked over to the dying soldier who was screaming and clutching his wound with both hands. Max ended his suffering by decapitating him, and slowly turned to face his last opponent. He gave the terrified soldier his best smile and rushed him, slicing the horse's two front legs off. It whinnied loudly and toppled forward smashing its face into the ground. As the soldier was falling with the horse Max extended his left hand elongating all of his fingers and narrowing the ends to razor sharp tips. All five of his fingers plunged into the Dragona horseman's chest and Max violently tore his chest cavity out.
Max stood in the center his carnage, and then it suddenly dawned on him and his eyes grew a little wider, Crap, this demon is projecting its massive thirst for blood through me every time I transform a part of myself. I need to cool it on the shifting for a while, he thought to himself.
Icylius stood perfectly still as about six horsemen surrounded him, all brandishing scimitars. All of sudden he thrust his hand out toward the man on his left and a tremendous telekinetic wave lashed out. The wave slammed into the soldier and his horse with the force of a raging hurricane. It tossed them both into the men behind them so hard the bones could be heard crunching throughout the entire battlefield. The five of the remaining soldier all charged in at once, attacking from different angles and rushing in one after another in a repeating cycle. Icylius dodged as best he could as he began to take out his attackers. The next man to feel the wrath of his psychokinesis was violently hurled from his horse into fellow soldier. The impact let out a horrid ruminating sound that could easily been heard by the other attacking soldiers. Icylius then focused on the now riderless horses and fiercely whipped them into two more Dragona soldiers with grotesquely sounding impacts. The final horseman stood alone directly in front of Icylius, too petrified to move. Icylius simply crossed his arms and stared at the mans throat, focusing his telekinesis to wrap around it and asphyxiate him to death. (Force choke win!)

The other two ranks of Dragona Soldiers rushed in, charging the attackers once more despite the fact they knew they were all going to to have their lives painfully ended. As Lien somersaulted under Reimuno's charging steed, he heard the echoing roar of a dragon piercing the air. looking towards the sky, five, hulking huge dragons flew overhead, their obsidian scales glistening. "REINFORCEMENTS!" Lien warned, watching them open their jaws and spew a jet of flames from their positions in the air.
Having forgotten Reimuno, Lien felt the steel pommel smash into the side of his head, causing his to slam into the ground badly dazed, his unfocused vision made the ground swirled dizzily, making Lien want to vomit his guts out, but he forced himself to his feet, watching Reimuno's steed rush by him as he lifted his scimitar to hack Lien down. Barely Lien dodged out of the way, but unknown to Reimuno, he dove for his deep maroon cape that fluttered behind his horse. With his body weight, Lien yanked Reimuno off his horse and into the hard pack dirt below.
