Suaro blushed slightly as Kadina grabbed his hand, though it was hidden as he quickly, yet subtly pulled up his face mask. He nodded as his head filled with information. Two thieves, an assassin, and one fellow Gerudo who doesn't seem to like me. He smiled to himself.
He stood up just as the last rays of light fell beyond the horizon. Lights flickered softly from the windows of nearby shops and homes. Clouds that had been conjuring on the east were rolling overhead, blocking out the dim moonlight, making it the perfect night for a robbery. "Follow me," he instructed the others softly. They traveled over many more rooftops until they saw the wall surrounding Hyrule's castle looming up ahead. He held up his hand for silence, and stopped and waited. After a few minutes of waiting, a patrolsman with a candle lantern and a sword belted to his hip walked over the wall. After another few moments, Suaro unpacked the grapple and rope. He also grabbed a collapsable bow and a single arrow. He constructed the bow in seconds, and attacked the arrow to the grappling hook.
With a twang, the grappling arrow flew from the bow and landed on the farside of the wall. He tugged on it, securing it with a quick motion. "This is the tricky part," He explained as he secured the rope in a slip knot around a chimney. "We have to quickly get across the rope. We have about two minutes before another guard comes around. We all have to be within the castle walls before he comes." He stored the bow in his pack and without wasting another moment, he ran across the rope with the speed that comes from many hours of practice. He motioned over to the rest of them, mouthing the word 'quickly'.

Eldrin put a foot on the rope and pushed down, then released it. He still had trouble trusting tightropes since a certain incident when he was ten. Ayishe had decided to test his agility and waited until he was halfway across before cutting the rope. The young Eldrin had barely managed to catch on to the rope with his hand and, after swinging painfully into a wall, climb back to safety. Lucky too, as it would have been a fifty foot drop otherwise. Eldrin shuddered at the memory as the rope snapped back up and vibrated momentarily before settling to a halt.
The thief stepped onto the rope and ran across it lithely. He was almost to the other side when a strong gust of wind buffeted him, knocking him off his balance, but not off the rope. He teetered suspensefully for a moment on one foot, then leaned to the other side and regained his balance. With a sigh of relief, he crossed the rest of the way. As he got to the end he dropped silently next to Suaro. He walked over and peeked around the corner, keeping watch just in case a guard came early.

Looking at the tightrope Max knew he couldn't do that and promptly climbed up onto Kadina's shoulders. He hoped she wouldn't mind, he knew she could still make it across. "Okay, let's go, he whispered to the thief, smiling.

Kadina didn't sweat this one. She was rather excited by the challenge. Her tribe had settled with a clan of treetop natives a few years back and she became quite accustomed to running along tightropes from treehouse to treehouse. Often times she had been carrying baskets of fruit or vegetables atop her head but never a small boy. However, it didn't phase her. Her enthusiasm dominated her concern and pushed her forward. She knew the faster she went, the easier it was. "Hold on." She said to Max then took off. Struggling at first, she wasn't use to the extra weight and only had a short amount of time to adjust. Once she found a perfect balance between her and Max, she was able to prance across the rest way, her feet like feathers. Once safely on the other side, Kadina set Max down. Her face still glowing from the excitement. "That was fun," she whispered as she joined Eldrin in keeping an eye out for guards.

The last one, Iona realized she had to go. She wasn't afraid of heights, but she knew she wasn't going to be able to balance her elephant sized body on that thin rope. She never tightroped in her life. As a treasure hunter, the oppruntunity came up many times, but she had been able to work around actually tightroping. She was somewhat graceful, but not for this. Then an idea hit her.
She ripped a piece of her pantleg and wrapped it thickly around her hands. She sighed, and inched forward until the upper part of her body was on the rope, and twice she nearly fell off, some of her hair actually staning on end in the sudden fright. Then she shut her eyes and the rope became a line of pure electricity and she suddenly shot across the rope and over the top of the next building, crashing just in front of Eldrin and Kadina.
Iona stood back up quickly, trying to play off that she didn't just bang her shoulder up hard. She gave them all a tight smile. "So...what now?" she asked with force cheerfullness, struggling as to not rub her sore spots.

Suaro ushered the group around behind one of the towers, hiding them from direct sight. As the next guard came around, Suaro pulled out his flute and played a soft, high-pitched tune. The guard seemed to drift off into a sleep, though he continued walking past the group of theives. "A central guard watches the lanterns and if anything funny other than an occasional dip and sway, he calls in the special night ops team. I was chased by them the first time I tried to break in here, and it took me two weeks to shake their tracker," he continuously explained small things as he strolled casually behind the guard. "He only looks at the light for a moment, and on a cloudy night like tonight we could do cartwheels behind the guard, and nothing would happen."
Suaro stopped and vaulted off the wall, landing on a building within the walls, rolling to prevent him from breaking his knees. Two guards stood with their backs to Suaro. They both had halberds, and were standing in front of a metal door, with a large stone bridge that ran from the front gate in the castle. The bridge stood ten feet in the air, with a deep chasm underneath. There was a fifteen foot jump between the bridge and the building Suaro stood on, but Suaro could still see them. He looked back to the wall. He couldn't see any of his friends, and realized that they couldn't see him. He played three low notes, and both guards heads were thrown back. They slumped against the door they were guarding, knocked unconscious. He took a running start and jumped the gap, and dropped sharply. With his arms raised, he caught the lip of the bridge. His momentum caused his body to smack into the stone. The breath was knocked out of him, and he lost grip with one of his hands. He managed to grab the edge of the bridge with his other hand. He slowly got an elbow up on the bridge, and then pulled himself up. Time was running low, so he couldn't catch his breath. He ran to the wall and threw the grappling hook up. He secured it quickly, then sat back to catch his breath. Hopefully they know they need to get down here, now. He cursed himself for not explaining this to them. Working alone is easier, and more time efficient, he decided.

Iona was promptly confused. This was why she worked alone. People had weird ways of doing things. She preferred her own ways, even if they weren't exactly smart. She hung back, waiting to see what everybody else did so she can follow suit.

Eldrin was just about to start doing cartwheels behind the guard when Suaro jumped off the wall. Seeing Iona's confusion Eldrin smiled. "Jump off the wall and onto that building. Then jump from that building to the other side of the bridge." He explained, then demonstrated. He jumped off of the wall to the building, rolling just as Suaro had. Then, standing on the rooftop he waited for Suaro to secure the grappling hook before he ran and jumped the distance to the bridge. He barely caught on and, after dangling momentarily, he pulled himself up next to Suaro.
He immediately looted the two unconcious guards and then waited for the other three.

Maximus did exactly like Eldrin had told him, and in no time he was standing next to his friend. He looked up at Eldrin and gave him a smile and a nudge, "I did that better than you did!" Max joked, trying to instigate a small argument.

Suaro finally caught his breath. "That rope was for all of you to climb down, so that you didn't have to risk yourselves," He laughed.

Max scoffed at what Suaro said, "Pshhh, risking yourself is half the fun," he whispered.

Kadina watched as the boys disappeared one by one. "What happened to ladies first?" She shrugged then leapt off the building, gracefully diving into a somersault as she landed on the other building. "Risking yourself is half the fun!" She heard Max say. "Kid's got a point," she said to herself. A Hyrule flag swayed behind her atop the building on which she stood. She wrenched its pole from the stand, backed up, and readied herself for a pole vault knowing her legs weren't long enough to make the jump on their own. How Max did it would forever blow her mind. He did a lot of things that amazed her. She exhaled meditatively, eyes shut and focussing. Then, once psychologically prepared for the dangerous jump, she opened her eyes and sprinted forward planting the pole just before the edge of the building. She flung across the gap with more grace as before and landed safely, stylishly, and lightly on her feet next to Max. "I didn't want rope burn, but thanks Suaro." Her appreciation was sincere. She felt bad for not using the rope he had gone through the trouble of securing for them. Kadina set the pole down quietly beside her and motioned for Iona to hurry.

If she could, Iona would've kicked herself somehow. She was such an idiot! In seeing the others quickly manuever their way to the other side of the bridge, she realized how simple it was. But, it seemed that the hard stuff was easy and the simple stuff hard to her.
But she hesitated. Here she was, risking her neck and wasting her time, over a fellow Gerudo with questionable motives and an even more mysterious history. She didn't believe a word that came from his mouth. Seji would've whacked her upside the head for her lack of forethought.
Once more rubbing her palms together, she formed static electricity all around her, the momentum of which propelled Iona upwards and out, and she glided, seemingly flying, over the buildings in which the others of their ragtag group leapt over. Then, her momentum ended just above the others and she fell feet first, landing just a little to the left of Kadina, her hair awry and looking a little miffed.
Iona dusted herself off and glared at the others. "I knew what I was doing all along," she said, her face betraying her words completely.
