Continuation of "Bad Deal" Location: Twin Rova Potion Shop Root: Bad Deal
Regic strode through the cobblestone corridor at a brisk pace. His sword was strapped to his hip, and his hand rested on it. For his speed, he looked calm and collected.
He slowed down as he reached a wooden door, which he promptly opened and entered.
"Oh, good, Regic, you're here." An old man, around his sixties, was smiling tiredly at him. "There's been a murder of one of our own."
Regic just stood there and shook his head. "This is why you called me down here?"
"Yes, of course." The old man cleared his throat. "An undercover officer was killed, while amongst an operation. The perpetrator he was after got away, but not until he had called in reinforcements, which tracked them down and located him, and a group of his companions. They all had powers, and quickly took down the troop."
"And you need me to go out and capture this fellow." Regic accepted and then asked, "I will need some information on these fugitives."
"All we have is a single name. Suaro."
"None of the soldiers saw any faces?" Regic questioned.
The general shook his head. "All they remember is a fight, and all we have from the file is the name."
Regic nodded. "I'll get right on that sir." With that, he turned and exited the room, closing the door behind him.
Suaro led his fellow smugglers through a crowded street, until they reached an empty alley. Suaro took out a length of rope and a grapple, and tied them together. He threw it up into the air, and it landed on top of a roof. With a quick pull, he secured it on a small and skinny chimney. He motioned Kadina and Iona. "Ladies first," He said with a smile.

Kadina tugged on the rope double checking for security. Passing inspection, Kadina then reached as high as she could and began pulling herself up with incredible upper body strength and a consistent speed as not to tire before reaching the top. Though slightly fatigued by the end of her climb, she had no difficulty pulling herself over the ledge and onto the roof which was generally the hardest part. Kadina could remember when she was very young and had to ride the back of her father when ascending a grappling line, and she could remembered the men's applause when she made it up on her own at the age of 14.
She dusted herself off and examined the red swelling of her hands before taking in the view. A span of buildings, streets, and distant plains and mountain ranges beyond the city walls spread out infront of her. She turned to see the castle and whistled at its phenomenal structure and beautiful architecture.
"Your turn," Kadina whispered over the edge at Iona. She didn't want to be too loud and risk being caught.
Kadina still wasn't set on how she felt toward Iona, but seeing the others trust her certainly allowed her to breath a little. She still had her suspicions and far too many of them, but they could be set aside for now.

Max was still clinging tightly to Kadina's back when she ascended up the rope. She must have forgotten he was there. It didn't matter to him anyway, Max had fallen asleep on her back during their trip and just awoke as they reached the top of the building. He dropped from the thief girl's back and smiled at her, then peered over the edge at Iona, "Yeah, come on up," he whispered.

Iona swallowed and looked around uncertainly. She had only done this once or twice, and that was back before her exile, when she was in better shape. The fear of being embarrassed blazed in her chest and she shrank back a little. Then, an idea hit her, and she visibly brightened with it.
Hooking up her chainblade, she spun it above her head, judging the distance. "Move back!" she called to the others up there in a loud scream-whisper. Waiting for what was probably just a quater of a second, Iona threw the chained sword up, and the chain wrapped around the thin chimney and secured itself tight with a clack. Tugging on the taunt chain, Iona closed her eyes and a low cackling started as sparks formed at her feet, then on the chain she held in her hands.
She then looked like a bolt of lightning as she was thrown violently in the air, holding on to the hilt of her sword with one hand. She fell rapidly and soundlessly down, and promptly landed on her feet in front of Kadina and Max silently. She sighed, adreneline coursing through her, and smiled at the two. "What? I wasn't about to climb up here. I'm too fat for that," Iona said, glaring down at her body.

Ever the show-off, Eldrin jumped at the wall and kicked off of it, sending himself flying at the wall behind them. He kicked off of that wall too, so that he rebounded at the first. The thief caught the rope half way up and climbed the rest of the way to the top. He flipped over the edge and onto the roof.
Eldrin stood on the roof and breathed in deeply. He loved the rooftops. It gave him a feeling of freedom. It was thief's territory. Practically half of his life had been spent on the rooftops of this town. They had been his playground, his safe haven, and when he needed them to be, his weapon.
"And that just leaves the leader." He said in a low voice, turning back to his companions.

Suaro climbed up the rope without any fancy tricks, just sheer upper body strength. "Alright," Suaro said, pulling up the rope and repacking it, "Stay close to the center of the roof, so pedestrians don't see us." Suaro led the group for about fifteen minutes, until he promptly sat down and stared at the sky. The sun was still an hour from setting. "We wait until the sun sets to enter. We only hopped onto these rooftops early because the alleyways fill up with shady characters. Well, people that don't like me, more to say."
Regic walked from street to street, occasionally flashing a rupee or two to get some information on the shifty 'Suaro'. Nobody had any information on him. After an hour, Regic was growing frustrated. He cut through an alley to get to another busy section of Hyrule. He looked down and saw a scorch mark on the ground, which caused him to stop and investigate. Looking up, he saw two dirty bootprints on the wall. He smirked to himself, before whispering, "Finally, I found a trace of you, Suaro."

Eldrin sat down opposite of Suaro, facing him. Normally he would have started playing his lyre to pass the time. In fact, he knew of a specific tune that the tribes of the desert used to lull the sun to a peaceful slumber. Of course, the melody actually did nothing to help the sun set faster... But because the song was so pleasant, it distracted one and before they knew it the sun was set.
Unfortunatley, he couldn't risk anyone following the melody. Instead he stared at the sun, bored. "So Suaro, how'd you come to be smuggler?" He asked in a low voice.

Kadina sat down and stretched her legs in preparation for the heist. To entertain her during the wait, she pulled out a rupee and rolled it back and forth between her knuckles. When that got old she, she spun it like a top, and when that no longer amused her, she played a magic trick pretending to pull it from Max's ear, all the while listening to Suaro's reply.

Suaro laughed softly. "It's the only real skill I have. But what about you guys? I barely know any of you."

Max giggled as Kadina did her magic trick with the rupee. He produced a rupee from his own pocked and tried to replicate the trick but failed miserably. After hearing Suaro speak Max turned to answer him, "I'm an assassin! See," Max pointed to the Assassins of Hyrule symbol on his chest, "But I'm only an apprentice right now, soon I'll probably be just as good as Torak."

Suaro smiled at Maximus. "I'm not sure you'll be as good as Torak," He chided, playfully, seeing as he had no clue as to who Torak was. He then turned to Kadina, and looked at her expectantly, with a half-grin on his face, but strong curiosity filled his eyes.

Max's expression turned sour, "Hey! I bet you don't even know who he is! And I so will become better than him! You just watch! I could take you..." Max mumbled the last bit, but wasn't trying to not be heard.

Iona plopped down hard on her bottom on the pavement, her only reason for crashing to the ground so was because she was too lazy to bend her legs. She stared off into the distance. Admittedly, she hated sunsets. When she was little, she would cry because the sun was going away and the darkness was killing the light. Even now, she felt a pang of sadness as she watched the crimson light bleed away, and the sun slipping below the horizon. Sighing, she reassured herself that the sun was coming back tomorrow.
Catching onto the conversation, Iona waited for Kadina's response, curious to know more of her. She seemed like a good thief, and good company, or the same company she was used to, but still naturally didn't trust her. She really didn't trust anyone, but some more so than others.A second later, she got tired of waiting. "I'm Iona Solas, of the Solas Troupe. Exile of the Gerudo. End of story,"she said, quickly and curtly. She gestured to the Troupe's signature sun tattoo on the back of her wrist, and kept her silence. She harbored this fear that Suaro, for all his good intent, was stealing her precious, ancient loot. She was afraid most of all that he mmight be siphoning off her loot from lost cities in the shifting sands. She was being rude and stupid, she knew, but trust was hard to come by these days anyways, she decided.

Kadina flicked the rupee up and in Max's direction to let him catch it. "You're gonna be awesome." She winked, her thumb still giving a thumbs up from when she launched the rupee. After Iona introduced herself, Kadina had hoped to have heard more. She then stood and approached Suaro taking his hand in a vigorous shake. "I'm Kadina!" She smiled as she introduced herself then let go of his hand and placed both of her own on her hips. "You can call me a thief, but I prefer the term 'bandit.'" It didn't seem like much to go on, and in all honesty it wasn't, but she rarely shared her personal information. She simply smiled before turning to catch the last few minutes of the sunset

Eldrin didn't wait to be asked. Rather, he volunteered his information. "I've already said who I am... But I'll say it again!" He said, smiling at Suaro. "I'm Eldrin, a thief... I don't have a specialization in thievery really, but mostly I stick to burglary and pickpocketing. Sometimes I do a little bit of conning and treasure hunting, and even the occasional mugging and piracy." He explained. "I'm half Sheikah on my mother's side and an orphan. I grew up as a thief, stealing to survive... Then I turned it into a profession." When he had finished, he took out a handkerchief that he had stolen from some old aristocrat and polished Avarice. Though he had said a lot, as far as information that mattered, he had given little.
