"Sayo! Hurry up!" Eldrin called back, feigning annoyance. He looked back at the younger boy with with a mixture of pride and scorn. His wide red eyes glinted in the light of a late summer sunset and his pupils contracted, giving his normally wild eyes an even crazier look. They easily betrayed the reckless and slightly dangerous nature of their owner. Just making eye contact with him was all at once exhilarating and unnerving. His messy hair could be classified as black if such generalizations were needed. But it was not the typical kind of black. His hair did not shine in the sunlight like healthy hair was expected to, but rather dully reflected the light. It was an ashy dull shade of black, and honestly, not very appealing. Black bangs fell across his forehead, just barely meeting his eyebrows. His mouth was curved in his unending brilliant white smile. It was a charming, toothy grin. Overconfident and goofy, cocky and silly. It seemed to be that he would never be unhappy, yet for some reason it seemed fleeting. It was as if his smile could easily give way to a malicious scowl. As if it were but a mask.
"Coming!" Sayo yelled, chasing after the thief. His own eyes, those that Eldrin coveted, were mismatched. The left was a warm shade that seemed to be a mixture of gold and green, and the right was a cooler shade with a contrasting combination of silver and blue. His light brown hair was even lighter from the long summer. It was now a golden bronze color, almost blond. He kept his hair short and comparatively neat, but had long since given up on taming the resilient cowlick which made a small section of his short bangs stand straight up. Sparse freckles dotted his cheeks under his eyes and the bridge of his nose, also a result of the summer sun.
He caught up to Eldrin and, breathing heavily, stooped next to the thief. "Why... Are you... In such a rush... Suddenly?" He asked between breaths.
Eldrin raised an eyebrow at Sayo's exhaustion. "You're out of shape..." He said, though he knew it was untrue. Living with Ayishe and getting out of shape was an impossible combination. If anything, Sayo was probably in the best shape of his life. Plus, he knew the real reason for Sayo's exhaustion. "Tonight, my young friend, we are going to make history!" Eldrin answered laughing mischievously.
Sayo sighed, knowing that he would inevitably be drawn into Eldrin's latest scheme. He'd be bait, or a distraction, or perhaps an obstacle to be thrown in the way of pursuers. Nonetheless, he greatly enjoyed following the thief in his various exploits and was glad to do so. A rare smile lit up his face, "That's nothing out of the ordinary... What's so special this time."
"Assassins, a fat whore, and a lot of marbles." Eldrin replied examining a huge parchment scroll. The scroll was originally quite lengthy, but it had been extended upon with countless feet of parchment, messily attached at odd intervals. Some of the parchment was fine and in pristine condition, other pieces were rough with torn edges and ink stains. Some pages were new and other yellowed with the ages. The writing on the scroll was different on each page, they varied in color, handwriting, and even language. "Sayo, I need you to fetch the Assassins for me. Tell them that their payment will make Zelda's inheritance look like pocket change." He said, not looking at Sayo.
"I also need you to find Azrael, he'll probably be in the Kakariko Graveyard. And Kadina, her tribe is nomadic so I can't quite say where she might be. Faro will likely be in Ganon's Castle. Icylius usually sleeps in the Lost Woods or staying at The Stock Pot, be sure to mention that Alemine is gonna be involved by the way. Oh yeah, and Suaro, Iona and her sister Alemine, Conevey Hastling, that amalgamation boy Ink, Lien and his friend Oarashi. None of whom I know how to find." Eldrin finished and shooed Sayo away. "Good luck!" He said sitting down in the grass. He knew that they wouldn't all show up, they never did, but if at least a couple arrived his plan could commence, and of course any others who came he could find a use for.
Sayo didn't seem at all overwhelmed. This wasn't the first time Eldrin had given him a huge list and expected him to remember it all by heart. Sayo raised his right arm, pointing his clenched fist of stone at the sky. For a moment he held it there, then he opened his hand as if he were releasing something. Nothing left his hand, but instead the stone hand shot off of his arm. In the blink of an eye it shifted into the shape of a small white stone bird and fluttered away. Sayo sat next to Eldrin and watched the sunset blankly, he was mostly focused on guiding his messenger bird.

Azrael had taken the moment in which he was not on some crazy adventure to meditate in the graveyard. He had taken off his robes and sat in a meditative state, he had wrappings around his hands and forearms and strange tattoos covered his chest. His brown shorts stopped at the knee and he had taken his boots off.

"Torak!!" Christina yelled, a mix of affection and frustration as The Master Assassin pinned her against a tree in the Lost Woods.
"You scream my name and yet I do nothing...." He jokingly said as he placed his lips against hers. "...yet.."he said after kissing her.

A small merchant ship sailed languidly through the farther reaches of Termina Bay, quickly hitting the rolling and plunging Great Sea with excellent time. On deck, the portly merchant let the sharp breeze cut through his hair and sighed, as for once, he was on schedule and nothing had gone wrong so far.
But beneath the deck with the precious cargo stacked and loaded up neatly, was a stowaway. None of the grimy, filthy crewmen noticed their only female passenger, nor did their gritty, hard mercenary men. Her slippered feet resting a top of an elevated crate, her petticoats fell prettily downwards and her dress, a beautiful gown of crimson enlaid with various jewels, flowed around her like an exotic flower. But her skin was a beautiful light brown, her hair like that of a raven's wing and her eyes full of mirth and ill intent. Various gorgeous gems adorned her hair and a large ruby lay just under her throat.
But just as the vessel hit deeper waters, the Gerudo stopped fanning herself with a posh lace-trimmed fan, closing it with a loud snap. Then she set to removing the thick layers of dresses, tearing at them with various amusing grunts and growls. Soon, she was bared to a single flowing layer and her corset. As if sensing something, her head snapped up, her face set in a fierce grimace as her eyes locked on the small cabin boy staring back at her with huge, shocked eyes. She finished ripping the hem of her thin petticoat just above the knee, then drew her dagger at him, which somehow glimmered with electricty and dove for him just as he screamed stowaway.

Alemine trudged through the Lost Woods with her head down, disheartened by her lack of progress in finding her eternally lost step sister. She came upon a clearing, hearing voices a moment too late, and catching sight of two people, clearly lovers of some sort, and was upon them with little distance between them. The stocky yet slender dog that accompanied her growled, its amusingly large, bat-like and triangular ears raised up, its stance ready.
Upon hearing the exclamation from the woman, the man's name, Alemine cringed in both disgust and recognition. She knew Torak Wolffang, but found the woman's rather cheesy pining rather disgusting. She stuck to the shadows, her small shield clanking softly as she crouched behind a bush, laying her hand on the dog's back to quiet it. Her hair fell forward and she sighed, knowing she'd be there for a while yet.

Torak turned his head around in the direction of where Alemine stood. "Did you hear that...?" Torak asked. "We are in the middle of the Lost Woods...it was most likely an animal, darling.." Christina said, placing her left hand on Torak's left cheek.
Torak turned his head back to Christina "Must've been..." Torak said as Christina removed the Master Assassin's hood.

Icylius was on his way out of the Lost Woods, the inn didn't have the same comfort he had built up to this forest. He had returned the night before from a long day of searching for his little friend Maximus. Who decided to run away after the demon inside him surfaced and he tossed his only friends around like rag dolls. Once he came to, that was it, the kid couldn't take that kind of psychological damage. So he ran. Icylius was on his way to Ikana Canyon, hoping he could find Max an talk some sense into him, or at least stay with him. The young assassin was the only real friend he had since his time with Neeva. And dammit, he was gonna find him even if it killed him. Icylius looked around as he trudged through the forest and noticed Alemine ducking into the shadows behind a tree, as if to hid from something or someone. He calmly and quietly made his way over to her. Ever since their previous fight with Demon Max, Icylius had felt himself change as a person. He was not so hesitant to approach the group the kid usually hung around. Although, Alemine was the exception, his crush on her made it difficult to be around her. At least in his head, he tried to pretend like she was no different from the rest of them. He still had a hard time talking, that however, didn't really change. Just his comfort levels with them. Icylius did speak when he wandered up next to her though. What came out of his mouth was even surprising to him. He didn't expect to say anything. "What are you hiding f...oh," he said, glancing over at Torak and the woman with him. He unknowingly slunk back behind the tree and closer to Alemine.

Alemine shivered and stuck out her tongue. She grabbed the dog by its bottlenose-like snout and fluttered her eyelashes at it. "It was probably just an animal darling.."she said in an exaggerated whispery voice. Confused, the dog tilted its little head to aside, but licked her hand anyways. Alemine made an amusing short retching sound and let go of the dog, staring back at the two. Could the conversation get any worse? Then an idea hit her.
"Rue, get out there. Let's see what happens," she whispered to the dog and shoved it out of the bushes and into the open. The short dog wandered around aimlessly before padding up to the couple, staring up at them with its large eyes all soft and gooey for them, its bat-like ears pinned against its head. It politely sat on its bottom, as if to seemingly wait for the two to notice it eventually. Alemine spun around at some vague rustling sound, but turned her attention back on the dog, giggling silently.

(Jeez...Alemine is a serious cock block XDD)
Torak turned his head as Rue came out of the nearby trees and walked up to the both of them and sat there. Looking up at both of them, panting and wagging his tail.
Torak let go of Christina and bent down to eye level to Rue and said "So...are you the one who we were hearing in the bushes?" Torak playfully questioned the dog, petting his head.
"What's a dog doing in the middle of the Lost Woods..?" Christina wondered, placing her right hand on Torak's left shoulder.
"It seems my suspicions were correct...we were being watched..." Torak grinned, standing up to his full height.

(Lmao, I haven't been posting on my own thread.) The little bird split into three sections as it flew ("Three Little Birds" XD). For a while the three birds flew together in a small triangular formation, searching the ground below for signs of their targets. Then two broke off from the formation, one heading for the Lost Woods and the party within, and the other for Termina. With a light fluttering of its wings, the stone bird lowered and perched itself upon Torak's shoulder. The bird look into the Master Assassin's yellow wolf eyes with mismatched green and blue gems in place of its own. Then suddenly it shifted shapes again, this time into a small, paper thin rectangle. It floated lightly downward into Torak's hand as script appeared across its surface. The stone letter was written in Sayo's neat handwriting in alternating green and blue crystalline script. Torak Wolffang, Grandmaster of the Assassin's of Hyrule,
Your services and that of your brotherhood are respectfully requested in aid of the thief, Eldrin, and his latest task. The thief guarantees generous compensation for said services. He also assures Sir Wolffang that this task is in no way directly opposing His Royal Highness, King Dalphenes of Hyrule. If Sir Wolffang should consent to the involvement of his organization, he and his fellows are cordially invited to join Eldrin at his camp in Hyrule field.
-Sayo
Furthermore, this invitation is also extended to the lovely Lady Alemine Solas and the honorable Sir Icylius with similar promises of vast wealth. After allowing Torak sufficient time to read, the letter shifted back into a stone bird and flew off toward Kakariko Graveyard. Upon arriving, it perched itself atop a tombstone in front of Azrael. The bird's green and blue eyes stared at Azrael serenely, waiting for him to take notice. The white stone bird was an eerie sight perched atop the tombstone. Some time later the bird that had traveled to Termina landed on the bow of a ship in the Great Bay. To the confusion of the crew it merely stood there, unaffected by the turbulence and ignorant of the bewildered stares it was receiving. The bird's mismatched eyes were locked on the small hatch that led below deck.

Torak was a bit suprised as a stone bird flew into his outstretched palm. The Master Assassin gazed into the bird's blue and green eyes with his own yellow eyes, and tilted his head to the side a bit as the bird took shape into a slip of parchment. The assassin read what was on the parchment, watched as the bird returned to it's original state and took off again.
Torak grinned. "Betrayed by a bird...Alemine and Icylius...you may both come out now." He looked at the location of trees in which he and Christina both heard the noises.
-------------------------------------------------------
Azrael continued to meditate in the graveyard, his spiritual being was far from his physical body. He walked amongst the realm of the dead, paying his respects to those who have past through the void. He even saw Argoth at one point through his journey..lastly..he paid a visit to his parents. At which point...he left the realm of the dead and returned to the world of the living.
He inhaled deeply and as he exhaled, he opened his eyes and noticed a small, stone bird perched upon a tombstone in front of him. His red Shiekah eyes met the birds green and blue eyes, at once, the bird flew off the tombstone and landed in Azrael's lap. The bird took form of a slip of parchment...which had writing upon it.
The Desert Monk picked up the parchment and read it, as he finished he smiled. "What plans have been hatched inside of my dear cousin's head now.." Azrael muttered to himself, watching as the bird resumed it's original form and flew off.

As Faro walked through the woods, following the little stone bird, one thught flooded his mind: Why am i doing this? It was an apt question to be sure, Eldrin reminded him ofb what his own life could have been, carefree and devoid of limitation. Eldrin had no master, no obligation toward a greater plan, and above all, he had freedom. Faro coulkdn't break free from Ganon, and he knew it. He wasn't strong enoughh to even stall his master, let alone win freedom from him. He was powerful, but only a "hero" chosen by the gods could hope to beat him. Anyone else would have to rely on raw strength over divine intervention, and Ganon was above the danger any merely brutish methods could pose.
But there was something else that bothered him about Eldrin, something that he feared more than Ganon himself. They were Eldrin's secrets. Everyone had secrets, and Faro could usually pick out one or two given enough time. Just enough for leverage, but in all the time he'd spent with Eldrin, he couldn't think of anything particularly damning he knew about him. Yes, he was a thief, but that already got him in trouble. He knew about Eldrin's old mentor and the boy he occasionally traveled with, but other than the boy's marble arm and the woman's marked dislike for the leader of the Aurian Legion, there was nothing he could do. Without anything to go on, he had to assume the worst, it was part of his training. With someone as mysterious as Eldrin, Faro didn't know what he was hiding beneath his cheerful smiles and sticky fingers. He was so consumed by his thoughts, he walked into the little stone bird. After shooing it away, he found himself standing before Eldrin and the boy.
"What?" He asked tersely. He was angry with himself for getting distracted. He was thinking too much these days.

The cabin boy coughed nervously, shifting from foot to foot nervously. A pin could've been dropped on the deck and it would've seemed like a cannon had gone off. The tough crewman stared at their new captain with a mixture of admiration and respect, the gritty mercenaries leaning on their weapons, staring at their new employer with steady and yet wary eyes. The new head of the ship had yet to gain their respect, it seemed. The wind caused the sails to puff back up with brisk snapping sounds, the cry of a gull emitting from overhead.
Parasol in one hand and a sword in another, the scantily clad, black haired Gerudo observed her crew with sharp, intense amber eyes. Her ripped single petticoat fluttered in the breeze as the woman took in the situation. The portly merchant both cowardly and indignantly sat where he was, tied to the mast, wisely keeping his peace. The woman raised the parasol over her head, the handle resting against her collarbone, but she twirled the hilt of the sword absently and skillfully.
"That was fun, wasn't it? I guess I have an advantage over you all with my specialness," the woman said as her hand hissed and sparkled with electricity. The crewmen and mercenaries grunted with agreement, chuckling slightly. The moment died out, and the woman sighed, as it was all understood how awkward the situation was. "So...what now?" she asked the silent crew.
Just then, she caught sight of the stone bird and implusively dove after it with an unladylike growl and snatched the creature up. The creature turned into a letter and she promptly let go of the letter, letting it fall to the deck before kneeling and picking it back up gingerly, sniffing it. She read it, and burst out laughing. The crew joined in, though rather uncertain as they did so.
..................................................
Alemine ducked out from behind the tree and Rue happily trotted on over back to her, tail shaking. "Really, as long as you two tone it down. You sound like a badly written cheesy romance novel," Alemine said plainly. No longer did she hunch over and hide, for the most part. She still stepped back when the attention was on her, though. Rue sat next to her, placing its head on the girl's knee. But it hit her that Torak had mentioned Icylius and an instant flush appeared over her cheeks and she looked around unconsciously, eager to see him.

Icylius took a step out from behind the tree and approached the small group that had formed. He didn't say anything as he walked over to them. His eyes rested upon the dog that sat before Torak and the woman he was with. Icylius liked dogs, although he never owned one, he had always wanted to. They were better than people, he thought. He felt like petting it but didn't know if it would like him or not. So instead he just stood there and awaited what was going to happen next.

Eldrin had traveled swiftly to Kakariko while they waited, and collected camping supplies. He returned riding a horse dragging a small cart filled with stolen goods. After tethering the stolen horse to a tree, he quickly set up a large camp on the edge of the forest consisting of nine tents and a campfire. One large tent at the head of a ring of eight smaller ones. In the center of that ring rose a large fire, skirted by smooth gray stones. In preparation for dinner, he set up a spit over the fire and started a rotisserie cooking a large hog. Each of the small tents had two bedrolls each, sixteen in total. Enough for all of the people he had invited. The large tent had two bedrolls on either side, the left for Eldrin, the right for Sayo. But they were hardly noticeable, because in the center of the tent, spread across the ground, was a huge map. The map was rectangular, six feet long and four tall. It showed a complex layout of Hyrule Castle, every floor, every secret passage. Even ones Eldrin didn't know about. The corners of the map were held down by wooden stakes. Eleven cushions, of many different fabrics and colors, were placed around the map. He only managed to acquire eleven, and anyone who didn't get a seat would have to stand.
Eldrin was just finishing when Faro emerged from the woods and spoke. "What?! Whaddaya mean 'what'?! EVERYTHING!!! That's what!" He replied, laughing uproariously. Then he stopped abruptly and took on a more serious tone. "I'm glad you arrived early, for we must discuss matters that the others need not hear." Eldrin said, gesturing for Faro to join him as he walked toward the main tent.

Faro warily followed him. He knew Eldrin was important to the overall well-being of Hyrule, but he didn't think of him as someone who actually knew things. He made tiny fireballs in his hands as he walked. On the off-chance he was betrayed, he would burn down the tent to escape.
"What's this about?" He asked calmly.

Eldrin sat cross legged on a red cushion with several patches of various colors and pointed at a small rectangular room on the map of the castle. Unlike the other rooms it lacked specific dimensions and its purpose was unidentified. It was merely a blank rectangle with a small blue topped pin sticking out of its center. "That room," He said, in a low voice, "Is said to contain two secret objects... One is important to me. The other, I believe you would find useful. Your object is contained within a reinforced chest. A key rests in the lock of this chest, that is my target. The key, you see, is false. At least for that lock... It is a legitimate key, but for the ultimate treasure that I seek. If you were to turn the key in the lock of that chest, the object within and the key would both be destroyed. The true key to that chest is merely to remove the key that I seek. As soon as it is removed, the chest will fly open. You will be free to send me my key and collect your reward." He stopped for a minute, allowing Faro to process the information, then continued, "Now to the object... It has not escaped my notice that you are not content with serving Ganondorf. The object is an ancient artifact, said to have belonged to Ganon long ago, when he could still be considered human. It is believed that this object is an anchor that holds Ganon to this world, protecting him from the wrath of the Goddesses. Theoretically, if this object were destroyed, Ganondorf could easily be destroyed by the very Triforce that makes him semi-immortal. Basically, it is the ultimate leverage against the Gerudo King." Eldrin finished and stood up. "Of course, it's all theoretical... But what could it hurt to acquire and hold on to the artifact just in case?"
Eldrin inhaled deeply, taking in the delicious scent of the cooking pork. "Smells like dinner's almost done! And looks like the others will soon be here." He said, walking out of the tent. The sun had now fully sank beneath the horizon, and the moon hovered above them. The campfire lit up the entire camp, and the pork filled the air with mouthwatering scents. The thief sat next to the fire and watched the forest.
