Thell paused in arranging her wooden pieces briefly, thinking it over. "No, definitely rotting flesh. I didn't smell like he did after I got burned," she decided, finishing piecing the wolf together. But something was missing... Right, a torso. She reached into the bag, pulled out the torso, and quickly carved her initials into the bottom of the torso before putting it down in her little arrangement. She was about to work her magic when she realized something. "Wait a minute! A hound's nose? Okay, Blade, I demand you come out. What do you even look like?" To go along with her shock, she whirled fast to face the voice, wherever it was coming from.

"So you have been creating a voodo wolf and yet you do not know how one looks like? hmmm. . . Interesting" Sappho murmured, eyeing the wooden pieces that Thell had been working on with her carving knife.

"What are you lookin' at?" Blade asked, appearing to Thell's right, just outside of her vision. The light of the rock revealed that Blade's appearance was mostly human, save for his silver hair, and abnormally large canine teeth.

The White fox chuckled "I do believe she was trying to speak with you Blade, but you are making her work for her time I should say"

"I suppose I should have said "Where are you looking?"" Blade admitted, dropping his tough facade for the first time since he made his presence known.

Thell was highly offended. "I know what one looks like," she insisted snappishly. "But he has a human voice, so I assumed he was going to look..." her voice faded when she heard Blade's voice a little to her right, and she cursed her burned, melted eyeball that was no longer in its socket. She turned her face again, suspecting he had appeared there on purpose, but she was not disappointed when she saw that he was human, just with silver hair and canine teeth, suggesting wolf like aspects such as a 'hounds nose' were also apart of him, just not visible. Sappho made a comment about Blade's strategic placement of himself so that seeing him was now becoming a tiring task. Thell resorted to turning her whole body as she agreed, her neck happy it was no longer turned at such an angle.
"I suppose I should have said "Where are you looking?"" Blade amended, and Thell laughed for a very brief moment, though it came out like a 'hah'.
"If I had both my eyes I could've seen you," she insisted, starting out pridefully before ending the sentence weakly, because her argument was gone. She hadn't had both eyes for a while, after all. "I just... don't adjust my head often. I'm used to just going by sense." After admitting that, Thell fell back to her seat, content now that she had seen the third participant in the conversation.
"My bad. I have an abnormal face, you have an abnormal nose and teeth and stuff. Why is that, anyway?" Thell asked as she began to critically appraise her wood wolf. Sappho's comment was making her paranoid.

"Well. . . I take it from how you are looking over your carving you never did see a wolf have you not?"

"I don't know that for certain. My best guess is that one of my parents was a demon wolf, and the other a human." He explained.

Blade didn't know his origins, which made Thell frown. She had been curious. And Sappho still suspected she'd never seen a wolf, which made her frown deeper. "Oh, shut it. I've definitely seen ones before. You don't grow up surrounded by 'manly men' and not see a wolf, the prideful bastards," she retorted, rather insistant. "I can't cook anything but meat. I can't sew. I can't do a lot of things. But I can definitely carve. Just you watch." And with that, Thell began to pick up pieces and make quick but efficient strokes with her whittling knife, George, downsizing a paw just a bit to match some others, making the tail appear furrier. With that she was done. "Tada. The only way this could get more accurate is if there was a real wolf sitting right in front of me. And it'll get better once I charm it," Thell insisted, her left eye shining with determination as she looked up at Sappho.

"Don't get ahead of yourself." Blade crossed his arms. "Unless it smells like a wolf, it'll never work on me." He boasted, smirking beneath his hood.

Vandir finally decided to abandon his apple once Blade remarked about the wooden structure smelling like a wolf. Or, in this case, not smelling like a wolf, which is why Blade would never be fooled.
Thell opened her mouth to insist her wolf wouldn't need to smell like a wolf as long as it could smell other things, but it was probably for the best that Vandir interrupted. "Smell is not an issue. As long as it looks like a wolf, it will operate like one... minus the need to eat and relieve itself. There's no need for people to think it's a real wolf," Vandir explained calmly. Thell huffed, her pride wounded. She could never get her creations to smell certain ways. But maybe it was for the best. After all, she wasn't sure she wanted to know what dragon smelled like, considering Vandir was one.
"It can piss and eat if it wants," Thell reminded the dragon as she knelt down off her log seat so she could begin threading the wolf together.
"Sure, but as far as the former goes, who wants to do that?" Vandir pointed out, and Thell shrugged. Vandir was slightly too polite to say 'piss', but she'd leave him be. Instead, she focused on getting her right hand to glow green so she could begin making the thread.

For a while, Sappho gazed at Vandir, then finally took his gaze off the wooden dragon. "Hmmm. . . true, who would want to do that, but not all of use are human you see, so if the wolf is meant to be a spy, I'm afraid it will not work out quite so well. . . Then again, that is just me rambling on." Sappho spoke, shrugging.

Thell huffed as she grabbed some of the glowing green magic on her right hand between her left index finger and thumb. Pulling, the green magic turned into thread, growing as long as use needed. She wrapped the thread into a small ball and placed it in the torso before threading her magic through the rest of the wolf. As she did so she said, "I'm too impatient for spying. Just hold someone near a blade and ask your question. Subtlety is so slow." With that, she finished her wolf, and sat back, watching as the laid out pieces suddenly felt a magnetic pull towards one another, adjusting themselves so that someone could fit maybe a couple strands of hair between each piece. Then the wooden wolf stood, howling softly to announce it's "birth". It was around six inches tall, so it took a medium amount of energy from Thell compared to Vandir, so to compensate she pulled out a hunk of bread and took a savage bite out of it. "And voila! Little wolfy has power," Thell announced proudly.
"Now for a name and he should be good," Vandir observed. Crap. Thell was fresh out of names. She had used up all her good ones on her weapons and Vandir. So, the young adult sat there with her brow furrowed, thoroughly stumped as she watched the wolf experimentally sniff and follow its nose straight to Blade.
Alright, it's nose worked. After she camped for the night that meant she could start her hunt tomorrow. And then the killing and fun stuff could begin. Eager to sleep and continue on her bloody way, Thell began to contemplate naming him 'Fluffy'.

Blade watched as the wolf doll sniffed and pawed at the ground near his feet. It had only just been born, but Blade did not expect a construct to be so naively inquisitive, almost as if it were a newborn. "Pup." Blade said.

"Lobo the pup, fitting," Oarashi broke out in a wide grin behind his steel tiger mask as he also observed how the tiny wooden being walked straight up to Blade and sniffing. No doubt curious about its ability to smell foreign smells.
