Iona glared at him."She's not random; she's here. That's not being random. Because random what be like not knowing the person and not knowing the person means you never knew them before and in not knowing the person that person is strange, a stranger. Therefore random and weird and suspicious and to be wary of. So that is why penguins don't fly and eat bananas" she explains and smiles brightly.

"Iona...I believe I recognize her. I've heard stories about her." Azrael explained and then said "And what's a penguin?"

She gasps. "You never heard of penguins? But they're the cutest furriest little hoppity bastards ever! I read all about them! They live in the Snowhead regions because it's too hot here in Hyrule. They eat fish and bananas and mangos" she explains and pulls out her canvas sack, undoing complicated knots quickly. She takes out a small book and shows them a picture of a short and standing pudgy bird with a small beak and wings set against it's body. Iona coos at the picture. Aetis licks his fangs. He never had an ice duck before.

Kadina jumped, yelled, and froze, her face in terror. A series of shocking events had just occured. A monkey was screeching, Eldrin was falling out of trees before her, she had a sword pointed at her by the gerudo, and a fairy was tinkering and blinking wildly as Eldrin tried to capture it. "I think I just suffered a mini heart attack." She finally managed to say after regaining steady breathing. She made a desperate grasping gesture with her hand outstretched toward Eldrin. "Eh. Rum." Her face was still frozen in an expression of bewilderment and fear. It was the single most awkward moment of her life, and that's saying a lot.

Azrael sweatdropped at the mass chaos and turned on his heel and headed towards the Termina portal. "I just hope the monster that lives in these woods doesn't eat any of you...and if it does...oh well." Azrael said in a half-hearted voice. He was tired for some reason...he just wanted to get to his room at the Clock Inn in Clock Town and just sleep.

Iona watched Azrael make off towards a place and decided to follow him. She was convinced that he was the more sane individual of the group and that whatever he did probably was more logical and reasonable then say Eldrin. She romped off after him, but immediately stopped when Aetis glanced at her in the eyes.
"Yes, Aetis, we are really going after him. He might be going to the pit of hell, but that's fine considering you like the weather a little warm anyways." she says. He blinked dully at her. "No, we aren't going to see Lord Izare until we are completely done with finding the ocean. I know you love to eat fish, but that isn't a reason to go visit and be lapdog to the adopted prince of the Zoras. He's half human anyways. If he wanted the thing so bad he'd walk over here. Besides, I intend to steal the crown jewels later." Aetis sank back onto her opposite shoulder, and seemed to ponder. What he planned and thought of in his intelligent litte snake brain was beyond Iona. She followed Azrael happily, glad to be away from the others.

Azrael was curious as to who this Lord Izare was. From what he had gathered from listening to Iona speak to Aetis, he was a Zora...or half zora and half human. "Who is this Lord Izare, Iona?" Azrael asked the Gerudo, trying to make conversation.

Iona paused and narrowed her eyes at the Desert Monk. "It's not nice to eavesdrop. Lord...sorry, Prince Izare is somebody of which has employed us, even if we haven't met personally. He has given me an assignment, but personal matters comes first. I'm surprised you never heard of him. He sounds like he could be of your lot,"she explains, telling him this only because she figured she didn't have much to lose. Money was nothing when you had treasures from lost cities laying around.
She continues on walking, Aetis staring back at Azrael. "And what's this kid spirit even look like? I've never seen it, but Aetis keeps staring at something. Where are we going, by the way?" she asks, head of him, but turning her head to speak to him. "Well, aren't you coming?"

Eldrin ignored Iona and Azrael, whoever Lord Izare was, he was of no interest to the thief. Instead he started fishing around in his bag for rum. Suddenly he stopped, "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!" He cried, dropping to his knees, holding his bag. He looked around desperately for the monkey and fairy. but they were long gone. He pulled a bottle of rum from the nearly empty bag and took a swig (in this case a swig means most of the bottle), then handed it to Kadina. Suddenly he jumped to his feet, having apparently forgotten about the fairy and the monkey. "Well, who's up for robbing the runaway Gerudo?" He asked, a little bit too loudly.

Azrael pulled out a kunai and chucked it in Eldrin's direction, thudding in the tree right above his head as a warning. Prince Izare of his 'lot'? Azrael didn't know if that was an insult or not, he decided not to further the subject of the prince.
"The child is male...he comes to about your waist...currently...he is using the trees for cover and watching you. He's scared and curious of us...mostly you for some reason. He looks like the spirit of a child who was lost in the forest...but...lost kids in the forest usually turn into Skull Kids..."

Iona turned her gaze to the trees and frowned. She didn't know if child spirit stalkers were a good thing. She didn't want to drag him out to the ocean if he was lost. She should help him be not lost, she decided. Aetis slithered around her neck ponderously, set in his thinking moods again.
"I'll help him if he's lost. But after that, we're going straight to the ocean. How do I help him, monk?"she asks rather brusquely, mentally kicking herself for it. She just wanted to held out already, she had a bad feeling abouthe forest the longer they stayed.

Azrael frowned a bit when Iona asked how she should help the child spirit. "I havn't heard anything from him yet...he's unusually quiet for a child..." he said. He turned around and watched as the child poked it's head from the trees and then back into the shade when he saw the Desert Monk watching. "Watch your back...I'm not so certain that this might be a child anymore..."

They were completely accustomed to a terrain they never knew of, so skilled they were. They stepped without sound and seemed to be the shadows themselves. Scimitars slid out of sashes as they approached the clearing soundlessly, their dark purple robes camoflouging them into the shade and cover of the thicket. The Gerudo zeroed in onto their deserter, their prized yet hated and exiled comrade. They stopped, but an inch away into the sunlight, focused on the group.
Their leader, who looked no different from themselves, raised a hand and they waited patiently, used to this. Their only superior in combat stood just ahead of them, sparkling in the sunlight, trailing behind a hooded man. She needed to be returned before others sought her. The leader's only rival and better trotted out there without a care in the world, whereas she suffered by being second-best. The leader, named Dashti, would relish in carrying out her punishment once back at base. She smiled maliciously under her veil. She gave the signal, and they leapt from the darkness of the trees, becoming flashes of blade and robe as they launched their attack on the group.

((Que ambush music...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ap4HguK73Rw))
Azrael could hear the sound of their blades being drawn, like the fastest gunslinger of the West, he pulled out three kunai blades in his left hand and pulled his blade out in his right. He chucked the kunai at a few of the Gerudos and leapt at another.
"You fools DARE attack one of the Desert Monks?!" He roared.

Kadina, who would have gladly joined Eldrin in his robbery, was about to grab the bottle from him when the gerudos had sprung from the trees. Being surrounded by danger, she knew she needed the alcohol. Nervous for any swift movement she decided to go for it anyway. Kadina finished off the bottle then dual weilded it with her katana, pointing the bottom of the bottle at her surrounding enemies. They never favored her because of Nadeana, but she hadn't seen the bitch in quite sometime. "Damn... I miss that slut." Their relationship was complicated.
(should i bring her back? we could always use more antagonists)
