(Why not? I was thinking of bringing Artie back...not as one of my main characters...but just as an in sight to what's going on with him atm)
One of the Gerudo's swept kicked at Azrael which he managed to jump over before being hit in the shoulder by a stray arrow. He cried out in pain, but grabbed a few kunai from his pouch and threw it into the trees. A shriek of pain and a Gerudo archer fell from her perch in the nearby tree, she grasped the abdomen wound in which the kunai made.
Azrael had managed to contact a few of the spirits that inhabited the forest to scan the surrounding area for more Gerudos. "There are none, monk." a deep voice sounded in Azraels head. Azrael didn't have time to reply as he deflected a stab of a halberd that one of the Gerudo were carrying, he cried out in rage and slashed at the shaft of the weapon. It broke in two, leaving the Gerudo weaponless. "Control her...use her body to assist us in anyway you can...but try to keep her alive. We might have need to interrogate her after the battle is over." Azrael said to the forest spirit. The Gerudo who he had disarmed eye's started to glow navy blue. She picked up an abandoned sword from one of the wounded Gerudo and leapt into the fray, yelling out things in a dead language. Azrael grinned. Perhaps they would scatter if they saw one of their own attacking them.

Iona fastened her chain to her blade as the head Gerudo made towards her. Aetis slipped her shoulders to go kill a couple of Gerudo attacking Eldrin. Iona made a complete circuit of electricity through her weapon and threw it at the veiled Gerudo, who narrowly dodged it. "You freak!" she cried angrily. Iona smiled. "Dashti,"she greeted evenly. Dashti steeped towards her rival. "How dare you make us get you! You don't deserve to be called a Gerudo! You're a fake, even if the elders want you back as their weapon! I should be that weapon against Ganon! I should've been the one! Seiji should've trained me, not your freak ass!" she screams, her face ugly in rage. Iona chuckled.
"You were always a bit vain, Dashti. I never did liked you," she taunted and crouched down in a ready position, chainblade raised. "Come, show me that you are better than me," she said sarcastically and both women jumped up at each other with their blades raised in attack.

"Oh great...a family reunion."Azrael dryly stated. Noticing the fact that the head Gerudo made her way towards Iona and just yelled out their past. "We've got to make short work of these Gerudo...." Azrael thought, kicking another Gerudo, sending her crashing into one of her comrades.

Eldrin pulled Azrael's kunai from the tree behind him and deflected several attacks from a rather vicious veiled Gerudo. Eldrin slammed another Gerudo's head into the tree and twist kicked a third into unconsciousness, then ducked under a swipe from the veiled one. He had barely stood back up by the time she swung her scimitar again, this time in a vertical slash downward. Eldrin easily sidestepped the blade, leaving it to stab into the ground where he had stood. Before the Gerudo could pull her scimitar back, Eldrin stepped heavily on it, further embedding it. The Gerudo let out a furious squeal and aimed a stiff right hook at his eye. Eldrin caught her arm by the wrist and twisted it around behind her back, then put the kunai to her throat.
"Sorry, darlin', I win!" He exclaimed, grinning at her. The Gerudo chuckled, causing Eldrin's smile to fade. "Um... Guess you don't know how this works... See, I'm winning... So I chuckle!" He explained, just making her laugh outright. "You're suppose to grimace and accept defeat! Not laugh! STOP LAUGHING!!!" The Gerudo spun around in the direction of the arm Eldrin was holding and twisted his arm behind his back, simultaneously knocking Azrael's kunai out of his hand.
Eldrin paused to assess his situation, then joined her in laughing. "Oh... Guess you were suppose to chuckle... Good job, really... Oh and... Watch out for that tree..." Before the Gerudo could wonder what he meant, Eldrin thrust himself backward, pushing her with him. They slammed harshly into the tree, shaking a shower of leaves loose. Eldrin held his legs firm pinning her against the tree, the swung his head backward, headbutting her. The thief's head smashed into the Gerudo's, and her's flew back and smashed into the tree. Eldrin stepped away, allowing the body of the unconscious Gerudo to crumple to the floor.
Eldrin yanked her scimitar out of the ground and rolled to the left as another Gerudo swung a halberd down at him, retrieving the lost kunai as he moved. He landed on his feet and faced his newest opponent, holding the kunai in his right hand and the sword in his left. Moving swiftly, he maneuvered around the halberd and closed the gap. He connected a right uppercut with the Gerudo's chin, sending her reeling backward. Dazed was good enough for him, as long as she couldn't stab him any time soon.
His triumphant moment was cut short by the twang! of several bows. Eldrin somersaulted back as a small volley of arrows blanketed the ground where he stood. Even as agile as he was, he barely managed to avoid a serious injury. Relentlessly, the hidden archers sent him another flock of arrows. Eldrin slipped out of the way of most, but took two arrows through his right calf. He cried out in pain and fell to a knee as the archers reloaded and several Gerudo ran up to him. Eldrin parried a blow from a scimitar and swiped the legs out from under its owner. The archers would have to be careful now, their own were in the mix. An arrow flew past a Gerudo's head and straight at Eldrin's neck. The thief moved quickly, using reflexes that he didn't even know he had, he swung the kunai up and caught the arrow mid-shaft when it was an inch from his face. The arrow snapped into two pieces, flying in opposite directions.
Eldrin pushed himself back to avoid a whip snapping down at his face. He ducked under another arrow as the Gerudo brought the whip back behind her head for another swing. A third arrow struck him in the left forearm while he was preoccupied with dodging the whip. The scimitar clattered into the grass. "STOP SHOOTING ME!!!" He yelled at the archers, who responded with three more arrows to dodge. The Gerudo brought her whip back yet again, but Eldrin was faster. He threw the kunai straight at her face with his good right arm.
A blur flashed between them before the kunai could touch her. The veiled Gerudo he'd knocked out earlier, stood between them, holding the kunai in her hand. She was laughing again. Eldrin smirked back as he grabbed her scimitar out of the grass and swung it at her gut. The whip lashed out, catching his wrist before he could kill the veiled Gerudo. The scimitar fell from his limp hand, but the whip still held his arm out. Saving each other? Didn't sound very much like Gerudo... The veiled Gerudo crouched down to get on his level and removed her veil. She was smirking at him, not cruelly, just triumphantly. She didn't say a word, but instead let her actions speak for her. She stabbed the kunai into his right palm, rendering his right arm useless. She winked at him, almost mockingly.
"Well," Eldrin grunted, smiling through the pain. "Aren't you just a pretty little thing?" He returned her smirk, perfectly imitating her facial expression. "Much easier on the eyes than your friend with the whip... S-seriously, did she have an accident or something? It's like Ganondorf had a kid with a Goron..." The Gerudo snickered at his ramblings, peeking up at her ally. The Gerudo with the whip snarled something that he didn't pay attention to, and the pretty one suddenly got serious. The last thing Eldrin remembered seeing was the her fist.
Ranim picked up the annoying thief and carried him piggyback through the forest. He had been annoying, putting up quite a fight. She had to move fast, keeping him alive was not only essential to the plan, but also a personal desire. Basira had wanted to kill him and just take the monk, but Ranim had insisted on taking him. She couldn't stand him, he had nearly broken her arm, slammed her into a tree, and stolen her scimitar. But the thought of killing him was terrible all the same. She knew this was weakness, just her youth speaking. But he had after all not killed her when he had the chance. He had a knife to her throat, but hadn't slit it. Ranim pushed all of it from her mind and instead focused on getting safely out of the forest, she was greatly slowed by the thief's weight, and his friends would likely be coming after him.

Azrael was sidestepping the attacks of a very persistant Gerudo, she attacked his right and he moved to the left and vice versa. He managed to get some good ground and he struck back, in a shower of sparks he knocked her scimitar out of her hands. She looked down at the blade and was greeted with the Desert Monks foot in her face, a horrible crunching noise was heard as her nose broke and she was sent flying backwards into one of her comrades.
He grinned as he dodged another volley of arrows sent at him, to which he answered with his own kunai. A couple hit their mark and the Gerudo cried out in pain as two fell out of the trees. Azrael looked over at the rest of his allies, seeing if they were holding their own. He noticed a Gerudo running from the fight with...Eldrin on her back.
"This can't be good..."Azrael said, he barely managed to deflect a blow from a Gerudo's scimitar.

Veliun breathed in slowly has his skin began to turn a darker shade, no longer was it a pale lavender, but now a dark and eery shade of purple. His moth formed soundless words, moving quickly and swiftly through a chant. "Azrael duck!" The zora yelled loudly as he threw a small and swift bolt of shadow magic, not enough to kill but maybe knock out or knock down. The small orb flew from the zora's hand and once it left he felt winded slightly, he needed to either forge a mage's clip or find a means to cast better.
The gerudos had ignored him for the most part, focusing on those who instead had weapons, and now the zora felt he had just painted himself a target. He absent mindedly wondered if the smaller creatures in the ocean felt this way when farther out to sea.

Azrael quickly ducked and watched as the bolt of magic flew over his head and knocked out a few Gerudo. He grinned a bit, he knew there was something in the Zora. He swept kicked one of the Gerudo who was near and didn't get knocked out by bolt of magic.
Azrael needed to take care of the rest of the Gerudo and get going after Eldrin. Despite Eldrin being annoying and a thief, he was still a very powerful ally.

Dashti and Iona fought viciously but never actually hit each other, their swords clashing with every hit instead. This made Iona rather frustratied. Had she became so soft after just a few years? But then she felt it before she saw it. Dashti was using dark magic, the stuff trailing down her arm as she attacked. This made Iona angrier. How could she possibly want to defeat Ganon if she sided with him and used his techniques? With a snarl, she fought harder.
"You stupid bitch! How dare you use that...that stuff! You're with him!" she cried and slashed at her savagely. Dashti staggered under the force of her blow, and her sword cut her cheek deepy. "I'm on the winning side, idiot! You have to make sacrifices to look good!"she hissed and noticed the absence of her comrades. She saw Basira waving at her to come over and the idiot thief thrown over Ramin's shoulder. She spat at Iona and ran off into the trees. The thief was one of hers. She'd come after him she reasoned and chuckled slightly. Then they'll continue their battle then.

A screech was heard throughout the whole forest and the ground shook. Azrael looked confused for a second and grinned a bit. It seems one of the Guardians of the Forest took notice of their little squabble...most likely due to the dark magic that both the leader of the Gerudo's that Iona was fighting with and Veliun using dark magic.

Iona distantly heard the screech. She was debating whether to go after the Gerudo. She didn't like that thing....what was his name? Alvis? Eldron? Whatever his name was but she'd go if the others went because they knew where the ocean was. Drained from the black magic, Aetis felt like solid lead on her shoulders and she threw him off and wanted nothing but to lay down. She heard the screech clearly now and stepped behind Azrael, wanting nothing to do with it. Sleepy, she closed her eyes, falling asleep standing up.

A large eagle flew past them and at the Gerudo leader, screeching and extending it's claws. A booming voice seemed to speak to all of their minds and it said "The users of black magic are NOT welcome in this forest!"
Azrael picked up Iona and carried her piggy back style. He noticed that Aetis wasn't with her. They needed to get out, The Eagle Guardian will take care of the Gerudos. They needed to find Eldrin.
(Eldrin should have the Gerudo run into the portal to Termina)

Veliun stared up at the beast, tempted to say something and on the other[/color] hand follow his master's words of wisdom for once. "Uh....Nayru bless you....." Veliun said as he turned on his heel before taking off in a sprint, he had been tired, but the adrenaline kicked in and fear was a good motivator. "Nayru help me!" He yelled as he ran the large winged beast not far behind hopefully it would take the gerudo first....and maybe it hated fish. "Purple mean do not eat!" Veliun yelled.

"Veliun! Come on! We need to get Eldrin back!" Azrael yelled to the Zora. He was searching franticly for Aetis, knowing that Iona might be a bit cranky when she woke up and found Aetis was gone.

Aetis and the Guardian stared at each other, appearing to have a conversation. After several moments, they bowed to each other and Aetis took off in the group's direction, side winding quickly and caught sight of them. He saw Iona draped over Azrael's back and he hurried in concern, hissing at the fact the Desert Monk was touching her. He gained up on them fast.

"I'll follow, just lead the way quickly!" The zora yelled as the eagle screeched once more, where was the snake. Veliun felt like he was going to be food and he did not enjoy that thought, or the thought of being killed. "How can this thing maneuver between the trees?!" Veliun prayed inside his head, continuously repeating. 'Get the crazy woman, get the crazy woman.'
