"We are an alliance...and if we are to gain the trust of each other, we must know who one another is." Azrael said in response to Blade's comment.

"I know. You can't leave an elephant in a room and not acknowledge it, it just bothers everyone, you must address the elephant's presence and politely ask it to leave! Or in Eldrin's case, lop off it's head with a guillotine and mount it on a pole as a message to all other room-elephants!" Blade said, standing triumphantly. "Well that was odd. Apparently Eldrin being serious outside of combat forced one of us to be weird to even things out."

Torak just silently watched the rest of the group while silently eating his cheese.
Azrael looked over at Iona and noticed the small child spirit standing next to her.

"That's the first time I've ever seen Eldrin being serious." Garen stated. He took a slight nibble of cheese then immediately set it down on the table. He took a large sip of wine and for a moment was lost in its marvelous taste. "As for you, Blade, being abnormal in front of me is also very strange. I like the way things were, can we switch it back?" Garen asked jokingly.
"Why, thank you young man." Jaru replied to Eldrins cheese offering. "Can't have too much though. I don't want my system blocking up during sleep. Speaking of which, I'd best be returning to bed. Need to have the strength for tommorrow." He stood from his chair and placed his book on the small table in that room. Then, walking into the next room and stated, "I hope you've enjoyed yourselves. The old man has to sleep, goodnight everybody."
"Goodnight father." Garen replied. Jaru climbed the stairs to the bedrooms and prepared for slumber. "Well, If he's going to bed, I should too. Meaning that everyone has to leave now. There's an inn on the other side of town, you should all turn in there then we'll all meet at the potions shop in the morning." Garen ordered.

"Then let us go." Azrael said, putting his hood back up and he made for the door.

Iona got up slowly. "I never been in an inn. Do you sleep there? Do I have to pay? I'm so confused..." she muttered and made for the door reluctantly, unsure. She drew her sword just in case.

"Sheathe your blade, Iona. You sleep at an inn." Azrael said to her, hearing the sound of her blade being drawn.

(So I am not going to read all of what was going on. I'll just go to the inn and go to sleep.)
Argoth swung his feet down from the table and yawned, "Sounds good, I'm tired. See you all in the morning." He proceeded to leave Jaru's house and head for the inn. Paying the desk worker he stalked up to his room and plopped down on his bed. Not two minutes had passed and Argoth was sound asleep.

The innkeeper was a portly, nervous man and Aetis only made him more nervous. Iona glared at him, but smiled prettily. "How much was it?" she asks, her voice high and sweet. He shook his head. "No, no, miss. I-It's free, on me. Please enjoy your stay," he stammers, throwing the key down and scuttling away. Iona scooped up the key and happily went up the stairs.
Hours later, the sun shone brightly through the window and Iona was still curled up the same way she fell asleep. Aetis, wrapped aroiund the bedpost, glared at the door as it was being hammered by many fists. Voices were raised for her to get up, the innkeeper's not one of them. Iona slept on peacefully.

Garen trudged up the stairs to the spare bedroom his father had. He removed his axe and short sword and placed them on a nearby rack. Garen crawled into the bed, it felt soft plush and clean. It was as if Jaru had little company over the years. Garen closed his eyes and fell into slumber until the crack of dawn.

Eldrin compulsively stole the rest of the cheese as he left, though he didn't actually want it. As everyone else retired to the inn, Eldrin climbed to the top of Jaru's house and sat on the roof with his legs dangling over the edge. He just sat there, silently, watching the moon's journey across the sky. This was the first time in a long while that he spent a night just relaxing. He took out his lyre and strummed it lightly to himself. Playing a lullaby to keep himself awake...

Blade's keen hearing picked on the sound of Eldrin's lullaby. However, unlike some people, he actually wanted to sleep. He hastily scribbled a note, not caring whether Eldrin could read or not:
Eldrin-
Enough with the #%&^ing jaw harp.
-Blade
He tied the note to the throwing knife, and flung at Jaru's chimney. Powered by his inhuman strength, it flew all the way to the roof, before embedding itself into a wooden slat next to Eldrin. Blade yawned, and went back to bed, grumbling.

(Hm... Interesting point... I never thought about Eldrin's literacy... I think I'll leave it ambiguous...)
Eldrin smiled, he didn't even have to look at the note. He got the point, and knew the sender. He decided to comply, mainly because he hadn't actually wanted to play, but simply to pass the time. He contented himself with tracing figures between the stars with small lines of fire floating in front of him. Making his own constellations. Thieves and demons and assassins and an old man and a monk. All surrounded by a snake...

Azrael bowed his head to the innkeeper as the innkeeper placed the room key on the counter. Azrael took it without a word and climbed the stairs to his room He was listening to Eldrin playing his harp before the low sound of a knife whizzing in the air and hitting wood was heard. Azrael stripped down to the wool boxers he wore underneath his clothing and armor and crawled under the covers of the bed in the room.
Torak already had a room in the inn, it was the room at the far end of the hallway. He was sitting at the desk in the room, by candlelight he seemed to be writing a letter or something.
He took one last look at it, seemed sastisfied and took off his robe and weapons and crawled into the bed to fall asleep.

Twas dawn. The sun peeked over the eastern horizen, sending light over the village. Garen wakened, strecthed his arms and let out a big yawn. He looked over the nightstand on the right of his bed. Garen reached over and picked it up, without moving from bed and it read,
Son,
I've already head over to the shop. I have a small office at the shop where we can discuss that question in private. I didn't want to wake you, you looked as tired as when you got here. Also, I've left some bread on the table for you to eat.
From, Your Father. (Who Else?)
Garen got out of bed and put on his clothing, storing the letter in his pouch. He slipped on his hidden wrist blade, equipped his axe and sword, and walked down the stairs. He took the loaf of bread and took a bite out of it. Then, wrapping it in cloth for his friends. He storde out the door and into the outside world. The dawn's light was gorgous at this time (7:00 A.M.).
Upon reaching the shop, a look of intrigue appeared on his face. The shop was a larger building than it used to be.
"What does he have in there?" Garen wondered. He decided that the only way to find out was stepping inside. Entering the shop gave him a sign that Jaru is more wealthy than he thinks. There were entire shelves and large cases all lined with potion bottles, in which were many different colors. A counter on the far end of the store had a happy and content Jaru behind it.
"Welcome to my shop." Jaru greeted his son.
"Impressive." Garen complimented.
"Please be cautious, these bottles are fragile." Jaru warned. Judging by the size of the room, Garen assumed this was only half the building.
"How did you do all of this?" Garen asked, walking along and scanning the potions.
"I hired workers." His father replied. "Some make potions, others mange the shelves, some keep the store nice and tidy, all while I order the ingrdients, keep track of money, and other things you don't care about. I even have other shop around Hyrule and Termina." Jaru gloated.
"Yes, well let's begin our little conversation in your office, shall we?" Garen pressured.
"Yes yes. I did not forget. Topal, man the desk." Jaru ordered his assistant manager. He turned to his son, "Right this way." Jaru gestured to a door behind the counter. They both went inside a small room filled with books and stacked papers. A desk sat inthe center. Jaru sat in his chair, behind the desk, and his son rested in the chair in front of said desk.
"Here, we may speak in private without disturbance. You needed to tell me something?" Jaru asked.
"Indeed I did." Garen replied. "What are you hiding from me?" the son asked suspiciously. "I know you were a shaman. I know I have a seal on me. What piece of my history is a secret?"
Jaru sighed and his head hung low. He looked back at his son in the eye and said, "I suppose secrets can't be kept forever. How do you know I am a shaman?" He asked.
"I sought out a Great Fairy and she gave me answers, but not a complete history. I hope you can tell me." Garen replied.
"Very well." Jaru agreed. "You and I are not entirly Hylian. My bloodline originates from a people outside of Hyrule. These people have the ability to bend space."
"Through what means?" Garne asked.
"Special gates, or more commonly known as Portals." He explained. "One could place one on a wall and another up higher on a cliff. Then, they walk through the wall gate and in no time at all, they are atop a cliff."
"Amazing." Garen commented. "But, why can't I harness that ability? Why was this seal placed on me?" Garen asked. His voice tuned to an annoyed tone. "Oh wait, let me guess. I had too much power for me to control when I was born, didn't I?"
"Indeed so, my son." Jaru replied. "Far too much power for me to seal away myself. So I hired some people strong in the magic arts to keep this power contained. They were battlemages and they can also break this seal. For I cannot on my own. The last time I checked, they reside in secrecy in the spirit temple in Gerudo Valley." Jaru revealed.
"I thank you very much father, I shall gather my comrades and head there now." Garen told Jaru while standing from his chair, about to leave.
"Wait! Before you go anywhere, wait for your friends to arrive. I must show you something, for it will make your jorney a whole lot easier." Jaru said, leaving his seat. "We will wait for them outside the front door." Jaru stated while leaving the shop with his son in tow.
