Since Elye was now officially an Assassin of Hyrule, he wasn't stressing so much. He had a lot more free time too. But to get his mind off of all the training, he decided to go for a swim and relax. He headed down to the Lake of Hyrule.
He took a moment to look out over the lake. He could see the laboratory a little ways down the shore. The lake was a lot bigger than he thought. He could hardly see the shore on the other side. He turned around and scanned the area to make sure that no one was around. It seemed to be clear. At least he didn't have to worry about anyone attacking him while he was relaxing.
He took off his gear and his cloak and put them underneath a tree. Undergarments would be fine for him. He scanned the area one more time, just to make sure that he wouldn't be attacked while he was weaponless. It looks like it is safe to go in he thought.
He walked towards the lake and started to wade in. He let out a gasp when the water touched his feet. The water was quite brisk. But he didn't come here to chicken out, so he continued. Once he was about up to his chest he decided it was far enough. It felt like the water was crushing his chest because of the temperature. He closed his eyes and released all his thoughts, clearing his mind. He found that when he let go of everything, it was quite relaxing.
When he opened his eyes a few minutes later, he looked over to the tree. He thought he saw someone hunched over by it. He rubbed his eyes and looked again. There WAS someone hunched over by the tree. He started to move back towards shore so he could catch the person and find out what they were doing.

She sat in her usual spot atop the highest branch of an oak about thirty paces from the lake's shore. She loved to come here as it was always without people. The birds were singing gayly and the trees rustled softly as the wind danced through their leaves. It was a quiet sunny afternoon. Valentina watched the water leaning her back against the trunk of the tree letting one leg hang freely from the branch. It wasn't long before her thoughts were disrupted by the sudden disturbance in the water. She searched for the source of the ripple, shielding her eyes from the sun with her left hand. There in the distance was a figure she couldn't quite make out, slowly dipping into the water. She grimaced. Great, people... she thought to herself.
As she made her way down the tree, she remained quiet, hoping to observe the stranger from afar before making any rash decisions. She wasn't one to welcome conflict. Valentina could see the figure more clearly now. Shaggy brown hair. Tall. He looked strong, too. Ugh, I hate men. She thought to herself. Valentina now also discovered what must have been his belongings by the tree. She thought about her last act of looting. She had snuck her way into a winery and robbed them of four bottles, two hundred rupees and the owners pocket watch. It had been over a month since then. Did she dare return to her old bad habits? The urge was unbearable. It wouldn't hurt if I took a look... She thought.
Tip-toeing her way to his bag, she crouched and opened it to inspect it's contents.
(sorry this is poorly written, grammar and punctuation is hard on my iPod. Will fix minor mistakes later)

(one thing I noticed that others will also: When you said she stole 200 rupees, since it's TLOZ it's rupees as money. Small fix. Other than that I thought it was fine. And I'm going to refer to her as a thief at first because it seems to be what she is at the moment. After now it won't be that since you're not a thief)
If I yell to them, will they run off before I can get to them? He questioned himself. He decided it best not to yell and alert them so he was going to try sneaking up on them and catch them by surprise. He waded in closer and finally got out of the water. The air was quite chilly and it pained his skin; but he did not care. He just wanted to save his stuff.
He sneaked up behind the thief without them suspecting him. The thief appeared to be a red haired woman dressed in all black.
Standing straight up behind her he tried to think of something witty to say.
"I don't think you should be going through another persons items without their permission."

(I just made it automatically change to rupees if you type different currency so she's good to go.)

I was detected, huh. She thought to herself irritably, biting her lower lip in frustration. Her back turned to the stranger, she wasn't sure whether she should break for it, or if she'd go out of her way to do something about him. She hadn't seen much of anything in the bag so far. She wondered if it was worth the fight. She then acted without though.
"Oh, me?" She turned around sheepishly, twiddling her thumbs clumsily. "Why I just..." She stood and leaned herself against the tree. "...I figured maybe someone had left it here. I was only looking for an ID, so I could return it to the proper owner." Valentina walked slowly towards the man and smiled, she now had a better look at his size and strength. But played it off with a flirtatious grin. In her left hand, which was seemingly holding her right arm behind her back, she readied her poison needles and prayed she would not have to use them.

The stranger turned around and stood up. Elye was taken aback by her looks at first. What is a woman who looks like this doing out here at Lake Hylia? He questioned to himself. "I was only looking for an ID..." yeah, fat chance of that. I bet that wasn't all she was looking for. He so wanted to prove that what she was saying was false, but there was something about how she talked, how she acted, that made him feel at ease. She started walking towards him. Elye noticed that she had her hands behind her back. Being a new assassin, he knew about hiding weapons, and for all he knew she had a knife in her hands and was walking closer so she could get within range to use it.
Elye started to back up. He couldn't let her get close enough to use a weapon. If she did attack and he survived, he would never hear the end of it from his masters. He slowly stepped backwards. But a few steps later his foot hit a rock and he wasn't expecting it. He could feel himself leaning backwards and slowly falling but there was nothing he could do about it. He hit the ground with a thud but he didn't take his eyes off of her. He could at least try to dodge her attacks and wrestle the weapon away from her. But he still wasn't sure if she even had a weapon so he laid on his back trying to decipher his situation and find ways out of it.

His eyes on her were unnerving. She put her needles back in the pouch she kept them in around her leg, and with a heavy sigh she let her facade vanish. The man was on the ground, and she was tired of the fighting. Whether it was a slight glimmer of whatever small amount of kindness she had in her heart, or just a whim, she wasn't sure. But after a moment she held her hand out to the man.
"Here." Valetina clenched her teeth and attempted sincerity.

Elye let out a sigh of relief when he saw her extending her arm towards him. He had the wrong idea of her all along. He reached up and grabbed her forearm and got up. He brushed himself off a little but the dirst stuck to him since he was still wet.
"Thanks" he told her. "I'm sorry about that. I wasn't sure if you had a weapon and would attack me or not. Caution is in my nature. I now see that that's not how you are so I apologize." He looked at her with forgiveness. "The name's Elye by the way." He extended his hand for a formal handshake.

Valentina looked at his hand callously. She couldn't remember the last handshake she had partaken in. Now that she thought about it, she couldn't remember the last friend she had made, who hadn't later been killed. The gang life never was something she had completely managed to escape. Living happily wasn't an option for her any longer. And neither would it be for this man if he'd be led to a similar fate. She remembered well now, shaking her hand was a death wish. She winced at the thought.
"Whatever." She turned around and began to walk away from the lake and the man she'd hope for his sake to never see again.

(Lol, are you going to walk away from me with every character you have?)
Elye retracted his fingers into a loose fist and put his arm back down at his side. He wasn't insulted that she totally disregarded his handshake, but he wish she would have at least said why she didn't accept it. He quickly ran back to the tree and grabbed his items and re-clothed himself. He felt like he could easily become friends with this girl, but yet she was walking away. He jogged to catch up with her. He couldn't miss this chance. "Wait up!" he called to her.

(Of course I'm going to walk away. Introducing myself with ease isn't my style.)
She heard the man's voice from behind her but ignored him, rolling her eyes as she did so. Elye, huh. She thought to herself. Where had she heard that name before. Lost in recollection, she continued walking away from the lake, too preoccupied to notice the two masked men that sat silently in the trees above her. Little did she know, they were patiently waiting for her to lower her guard.

(Really? Another bandit attack? Well I'll change things from our other characters. I'm going to be having Elye talk in Purple now. Purple FTW!)
What is her problem? She definitely heard me so why isn't she acknowledging me? He continued to jog towards her but something in the trees caught his attention. He looked up to see a man perched in the tree. Wait, there was another man. They both were wearing masks too. The bandits looked like they had the intent of mugging her.I have to warn her about them and get her out of here. This is my time to shine.
"Wait, there's something I need to tell you." He cried up to her. He couldn't let the bandits figure out that he knew they were up there so he had to be subtle.
He finally caught up with her. "I have something really important to tell you. If you let me speak then I will never bother you again. But be subtle about this." He hoped she would understand the situation quickly and in as few words as possible. "Don't look, but there are at least two bandits in the trees that are ready to attack. On my mark start running. I'll deal with them, you just get out." He told her as quietly as possible. He waited for her acknowledgement before anything else.

Valentina finally turned around to face this Elye. Only a few feet apart, she closed the gap between them when she walked sternly towards him, grabbing him by the shirt and pulling him so that they met eye to eye. It was just as he had said: Two men above them, and they were in a stance that seemed plausible for pouncing. Even in only her peripheral vision, she recognized the masks and golden insignia on their shirts. A moment passed and she held her gaze on Elye. She smirked only to whisper into the man's ear, "Oh, I'll be subtle."And in an instant she used her grip on Elye to her advantage, and pulled him down, using his shoulders as a step to propel herself towards her foes. Being left handed, Valentina wielded senbon in her right while clutching a fist in her left. She sent the needles piercing the right henchman in his leg, arm and upper torso. As for the one on the left, Valentina landed a left upper-cut apparently not strong enough to prevent his counter-attack, a dagger to her stomach. She manages to dodge what would have been a fatal wound, the dagger still managing to cut her side. As her feet hit the branch she clutched her waist for a moment, and kicked the man towards the center of the tree, nailing his clothing with the needles. Valentina's fist hit the tree to the right side of his head and she leans in towards him. "Tell your leader..." the red-headed girl huffed, "...that he's wasting his time." "You've become weak, V." his voice was low and condescending. The masked man's body melted until he dissolved completely and all that remained were the senbon scattered shape. She looked at the nearby branches. It seemed that the other henchman had dissolved as well. Valentina struck the tree with her hand and put her forehead against the bark. (I've concluded that I suck at fight scenes and blah, I hate describing fighting. TOO HARD.)

Elye stood in amazement. He didn't even have time to join the fight, she was just that fast. She seemed to just wave her hand and the bandits would be injured. But she did take a cut to the side. But Elye missed out on the whole fight. After all his training, a girl he just met takes out his first real opponents. All of the bandits were able to escape her wrath, but one she seemed to have a conversation with. When he left she just leaned against the tree. Elye, walked toward the tree. He stood at the trunk and looked up to the girl.
"Wow! That...was amazing..." he told her with amazement (obviously). "I didn't even have time to draw my weapons." Elye could now see that she threw little needles. That makes a lot more sense than her just waving her hand and doing damage. "Where did you learn to do all of that? And you looked like you knew that last one, who are they?" There were so many questions that he wanted to ask her but he didn't have time. He remembered about her wound. "You should probably come down so that I can deal with your gash." That was real smooth He thought sarcastically. After seeing that, he could confirm that he really liked this girl.

The water was frigid. It seemed like even the fish were trying to escape it's freezing temperature as they broke the placid surface and jumped into the air. To no avail, they landed with a splash back into their cold captivity not realizing there was something more to escape.
Kadina waded into the water tentatively. Chill bumps emerged across her arms and legs making the hair stand on end. She made an uneasy high pitched hum through gritted teeth as her toes sank into the freezing mud and numbed her feet. Her pants were pulled up to her knees, her hair was tied back, and her teeth were beginning to chatter as she hugged her arms and rubbed them vigorously. The friction only helped so much.
"You'd think Zora's domain was frozen over again..."
Suddenly a fish leaped into the air before her. Her actions a bit delayed due to the shock, she only managed to grab it by the tail end after being taken off guard. It slipped through her hand, and she struggled a minute as it flopped around between her desperate grips before slipping from her grasp a final time and diving back into the water. Perturbed and still freezing, Kadina placed her hands on her hips and huffed. "You were too small for my raging appetite anyway." She snobbishly tossed a strand of her bangs out of her face and went back to warming herself, only this time, her eyes were focused on the water.
After the water had settled, fish flocked once more to the shallow waters by the bank. They weaved in and out between Kadina's legs unaware of the danger their careless ways had placed them in. Peparing herself, Kadina held her hands low to the surface to snatch a fish from its aquatic home when another damn jumping fish shot out from the lake and slapped right into her face! The other fish fled the scene as she flailed wildly to capture the nuisance, but it too had gotten the best of her.
Full of frustration, Kadina slung her fists down beside her causing an explosion of water. The airborne droplets showered her as she stood in the cold water pouting silently. Eating would have been much easier if there were someone to steal from.
There was a rustling above her followed by the falling of leaves. Her expression changed from a scowl to curiosity as she looked up into the trees that canopied the bank of the lake. Taking heed of the peculiar event, she waded to the shore and gathered her things while keeping her dagger in hand. Someone was near.
She pulled herself up into the camouflage of the tree tops and followed the rustling quietly. After looking hard enough, she noticed she had been chasing a pack of fellow bandits, but couldn't be sure of their origins. Suddenly, they had stopped. Kadina plastered herself up against the trunk of the tree out of sight and listened. There were people below... A boy and a girl.
Suddenly, chaos broke loose as the girl shot into the tree and attacked the bandits. Kadina could barely see through the leaves, but she caught a glimpse of the girl holding one of them to the trunk.
"Tell your leader... that he's wasting his time."
At this point, Kadina wasn't sure which one to be afraid of. The red headed female clearly had some strengths and seemed rather threatening although the bandit seemed to disagree. He called her weak then evaporated like some sort of magician. Confused and a little blown away by the events, Kadina slumped against the trunk of her tree and slid down onto her butt hoping to stay quiet until they were gone. Every now and then, she would peek around and survey. The boy was hard to see from her perch, but he was obviously smitten with the girl as he complimented her technique. Kadina mentally 'awed' at his adorable infatuation when suddenly her stomach let out a loud grumble.
