Faro blinked and rubbed his eyes as Iona ate the rock like an apple. He had to be hallucinating, had to. Trying to think of something, to get to her stop eating rocks, he said.
"Um, yeah I met the penguins... How are they now?" For Faro this situation was too weird entirely. Eldrin, Iona, and dragons all in one place. Talk about your full afternoons.

(Thank you for the cue, Eldrin!)
Kadina giggled when Iona seemed to do something strange and entertaining right on cue. "Yeaah... you just have to get use to her," she assured Ilya before feeling the ground slightly shake beneath her feet. The pebbles by Iona's feet shifted in their place.
"Did the mountain just growl at us?"
"I heard it too... and felt it. That wasn't your dragon, was it?" Kadina turned to Ilya when suddenly screams were heard from down the mountain. She ran to the mouth of the cave and saw smoke rising from Death Mountain and the people of Kakariko fleeing their village.
"Guys? We have a problem..."
Immediately Kadina's mind went to work. Kakariko would be destroyed if that volcano erupted, and there was no telling how much devastation would result in other parts of Hyrule. What could they do?
[*cough*ice dragon*cough*]
"We have to help those people flee with all of their valuable, rare, and sentimental belongings!" Kadina's selfish greed was trying to evade her heroism. "I mean, we really just need to save them.. And maybe the gorons? I could have sworn they bathed in lava though... hm..."

"Did the mountain just growl at us?" Torir heard it too. He was sure that it wasn't one of the dragons. Kadina ran to the entrance of the cave. Torir could smell smoke and something burning. Oh god, this isn't a mountain, it's a volcano. Kadina gave Torir a look which he immediately figured out what it meant. He had to use Crimson to cool the lava so that it didn't burn down the whole town. "We have to help those people flee with all of their valuable, rare, and sentimental belongings! I mean, we really just need to save them."
"You guys go and help the villagers, I will see what I can do about the fire and lava" Torir told the group. "You're going to want to get to the sides of the cave though."
On that cue he yelled out Crimsons name and ran towards the opening of the cave. Crimson looked up at him and deciphered the look on Torir's face. He stood up and started running for the opening also. Torir looked back and could see that Crimson was close enough. He grabbed crimsons neck and swung himself onto his back. He guided Crimson to fly towards the volcano. Crimson wanted to turn around but Torir kept him on course. The volcano was spewing little chunks of flaming rock out and a little bit of lava was spilling over the edge. They had better hurry or else they won't make it in time. Torir flew Crimson up up towards the edge of the volcano. Torir was sweating like a pig but that wasn't any concern at the moment. Although he did think of how it must be for a frost dragon...
"BREATHE" He yelled to Crimson. On this command, Crimson let a major amount of frost and cool air spew out of his mouth directed at the volcano. It didn't seem to do much, but it still helped a little. Maybe he should work on the lava flowing down the mountain instead. that might be easier to contain than a while mountain full of molten rock.
Crimson lifted off and flew a little way down the mountain. Torir yelled "BREATHE" once again and Crimson let out a blast of cool air. This time, it seemed to harden quite a bit of the lava. It would still take quite a while to get it all. Torir guided Crimson to fly around and fly in a straight line over the flowing lava. Once again he yelled to Crimson to breathe. This time he was able to cool quite a bit of the lava. This seemed to be the best method he could think of. The others better be hurrying. Crimson can't do this all day.

Faro arrived on the mountain quickly. I may not be able to handle Iona's personality, He began.
But we can certainly handle this.[/i] Malevolence finished. It flowed into Faro's legs, allowing him to jump and reach the side of the lava flow. Finding a good spot to concentrate, Malevolence dug into the mountain and erected a shield to protect Faro from any debris. Faro closed his eyes and spread his arms wide. He exhaled, then opened his eyes as he inhaled. A roiling mass of heat began to flow into him, it was concentrated enough to look like fire at first glance. Faro sucked in all the heat he could, cooling the lava into rock. It was helping, but all things considered, the dragon was still doing most of the work.

Eldrin felt a pang of regret as Faro jumped into the fray, taking up the heat of the volcano. He didn't miss the actual action of absorbing the heat, seeing as that was a fairly painful sensation. Rather, he missed the feeling of being capable, being reliable. Of course, in all the time that he'd had his powers, he'd never really been very reliable. But still, he didn't want to be the rescue party, he wanted to stop a damn volcano. Alas, that was hardly an option, unless he wanted to burn alive. He sighed and donned a remarkably convincing grin. "Alright... hero time!"
He ran forward to the cliff overhang that provided a fine view of the village. His sharp red eyes scanned his surroundings as his cunning mind quickly formulated a plan of action. Faro and Torir were taking care of the lava flow. Hopefully, they would be able to stop it before it reached the village. Still though, the villagers would need to be evacuated as a precaution. Of the group that had remained, they had Argoth and Max, Iona, Ilya, Kadina, and himself. Of course, there were the dragons to consider, they were a fantastic resource. Torir had taken his, Crimson he had called it, but Ilya's still remained. The villagers were frantic, running about their town in complete chaos. They stood no chance on their own. Furthermore, there were about a hundred residents in the village, and only one way down the mountain, a little perilous path only wide enough for about two people at a time. Ilya's dragon could probably handle carrying some of them, but definitely not a hundred... The Goron appeared to be lounging about lazily, watching the oncoming lava with little interest. This confirmed Kadina's suspicion that they needn't be saved. The mountain was seemingly crumbling around them. The whole mass was trembling with some suppressed power, and rock slides were falling all around them.
"Okay, listen up! Here's the plan..." Eldrin said, his voice suddenly becoming strong and authoritative, it was more of an order than a request. "Ilya, we need you to take your dragon down there into the village. Gather up all the sick, elderly, and children. Load them up on your dragon and take them down the mountain to a safe place," as an afterthought, he turned to Kadina. After all, Ilya could hardly tell the villagers what was going on, seeing as she was a mute and all. "Kadina, go with her and help out." Next, he moved on to Argoth and Max. "Odd request for you guys. I know the Gorons kind of hate you Argoth, but you need to go make it up to them. Do whatever you have to in order to gain their trust and cooperation. They're immune to the lava, so they have nothing to fear. Not to mention that they're crazy strong and there's a shit ton of 'em. We need their help. Get some of them to guard the empty village from the rockslides. Faro and Torir stopping the lava won't be much of an accomplishment if it gets destroyed by a couple falling rocks anyway. The rest will need to protect the villagers going down the mountain path. That way, if any rockslides come our way, or block our path, we'll have a bunch of Gorons to guard us." He sighed and looked around for a moment, biting his bottom lip pensively. "I'll lead the able-bodied villagers down the mountain path, hopefully with the protection of the Goron." After that was all taken care of, he turned to Iona. His smile turned mischievous as he began to give her instructions. "And you, will go through the village and collect all of the valuables that have been left behind. You know the drill, anything shiny or well-made..." Saving these people was no excuse to not rob them blind. Not to mention, Iona really faced no harm from the lava and rocks. She could propel herself forward at incredible speeds, thus easily dodging anything the volcano decided to throw at her. Couple that with the fact that she apparently had no sense of self-preservation whatever, and she was the perfect candidate for this last job. "After they've enlisted the Goron's aid, Argoth and Max will join me and the villagers down the mountain. Iona, do not join us until much later, so that the villagers don't notice that you've taken all of their crap. I'd rather not be attacked by an angry mob of people that we just saved." Suddenly he seemed to realize something. In a flash, he swung at Iona. The claw blades of the Avarice gauntlet slashed three even marks across her cheek. The claw marks reddened, and seconds later blood was running down her chin. "Those blades were poisoned. If you betray us, or try to run off with the loot, you won't last an hour. I have the antidote, and I'll give it to you if you don't try to screw us. I'm not telling you what kind of poison it was, so don't think you can just go get an antidote made..." He gave her a wink and turned back to look down at the village. "We'll rendezvous at the bottom of the mountain. Good luck, everyone..." And with that, he jumped off the cliff. He hit the mountainside lightly, riding a rockslide down to the village.
(I had to modify this post... I completely butchered all my "theres", "theirs", and "they'res". Oh well, 'tis fixed now!)
