Eldrin sat in his cell, leaning against the bars and watching the Gerudo warden pace back and forth. A ring of keys dangled from the sash she wore as a belt. He wore plain black cloth pants and a plain black tunic... Prison clothes. His right pant leg was cut off at the knee to avoid touching his injured calf, which was wrapped tightly in white bandages. His left forearm and right hand were also wrapped in similar bandages.
"So..." Eldrin said after several hours of silence. "What's your name."
The Gerudo warden glared at him through the bars. "Namira, not that it is any business of yours."
"Namira, lovely name for a lovely woman..."
"You wouldn't find me so lovely if I was allowed to torture you." Namira replied. "Unfortunately, Nadeana has given orders that your wounds should be tended to and no more should be inflicted." She explained with a sigh.
Nadeana? Last time he saw her pretty mug was in the Great Bay. That was a long time ago, before Kadina disappeared. In fact, that was his and Kadina's last adventure together before she disappeared. Good times... He turned his attention back to Namira, who was now sitting at her desk with her feet up. "Must be lonely, out here in the desert with only Ganon and other women for company."
Namira burst into hysterical laughing. She laughed for several minutes before she finally calmed down and replied. "Sorry, thief... Your not my type. I am in fact quite satisfied with the women of this fortress."
Eldrin had to think for a while before he caught on to what she meant. "Oh... Oh! OH! Well... Backrub?"
"No thanks."
"Need a shoulder to cry on?"
"I'm good."
"You dropped something in my cell..."
"Don't need it..."
Eldrin sighed, "Can you come into my cell for no reason at all?"
Namira shrugged, "Mkay!" She walked over to his cell and unlocked the door. Eldrin readied himself to attack. As soon as Namira stepped inside he pounced at her. Th warden acted quickly, catching Eldrin in mid-jump and slamming him into the bars of the cell. She grabbed his bandaged arm and dug her fingers into the wound. The white bandage turned slowly crimson as the wound reopened. "Say your sorry!" She said in a mock scolding voice.
"Sorry!" Eldrin grunted.
"Good boy!" Namira said, throwing the thief to the ground. She smirked and walked out of the cell, back to her desk.
Eldrin lay in a crumpled heap on the ground. As soon as he was sure she wasn't looking he slipped the key to his cell into his sleeve. It had been easy to steal while she indulged herself in her own sadism. She thought she had won. But she didn't understand. Eldrin was a thief, not a fighter.
"Footrub?"

The wind picked up as Azrael looked upon the fortress from on top of a nearby cliff. He took a breath in and exhaled, how long since it had been since he returned to his home? Far too long. But, he wasn't here for personal reasons. They needed to find Eldrin and get to Termina and to the Great Bay.
Azrael looked behind him and saw the others trudging up slowly. They were far from the watchful eyes of the Gerudo. He could easily walk in and would not be attacked...but, something was different. Those Gerudo wouldn't have attacked if there wasn't. There was a law that forbade the attack on a Desert Monk by a Gerudo, and that law was still active since Azrael alive and well. "Did they really want Eldrin...or is it something else they wanted and are using him as bait for the rest of us...the whole thing stinks like the Fish sellers fish in the Market..." Azrael thought, his red eyes almost seemed to glow in the dark as he scanned the fortress for guards. He waited for the rest of his group to catch up.

Iona trudged up the cliff cheerfully, leaving everybody behind her by a short distance. She wasn't happy to be here among those that still wanted to imprison her, but home was home, right? Eldrin was just a means to get her over here. Of course, if the others hadn't wanted to come save him, their efforts would've been in vain because she probably wouldn't have come. She briefly wondered if everybody else realized that she was the one the Gerudo actually wanted, but tossed the thought aside. Aetis seemed to grin as the light of the sun blazed on his scales. He loved the desert heat.
Coming just behind Azrael, Iona plopped down on a rock."So we wait?"she asked him, not really caring if he replied back. She glanced back at the others.

"We wait until the others catch up and then we plan our attack." Azrael replied, he wasn't aware the he replied. He was too focused on the fortress.

"So that girl... The pretty one that carried me here. What's her name? She didn't say a word to me the entire trip. No matter how much I tried to spark a conversation..." Eldrin asked, now laying stretched out on the stone floor.
Namira grinned wickedly, "Ranim... Her name is Ranim. And don't expect to ever hear her speak." The warden said, giggling.
"Ranim... RAnim... RaNIM... Sounds like a guys name." Eldrin declared. "And why won't I ever hear her speak? Is she a mute?"
"You could say that... You see, occasionally when a Gerudo gets cocky she has to be punished." Namira could barely contain her delight. "Ranim spoke against a certain warden... So I cut out her tongue!" She said, ending the last sentence with a vicious cackle.

(ouch)
Azrael continued to look at the fortress...contemplating on whether or not him and Iona would be enough to break in. If the Hero of Time could do it by himself...a monk and an exiled thief could do it.

Iona paused, deciding that they should advance without the others. "So what do we do? It seems we have to take it by ourselves. How will we do it?" She asks, waiting for his response.

"First off...we find out where Eldrin is being held. We can do that by either interrogation or I can ask the spirits for help. Your call on that...then we get in there and rescue Eldrin. All while making sure they don't figure out we are here...kill only when you are confronted or if there's no other way to get by without sneaking or knocking them out." Azrael said to Iona, all without turning his head to her. He still didn't like this...not one bit...

Iona nodded."Okay. Let's talk to these spirits and get the show on the road already. Treasure needs to be stolen and my mentor needs saving," she says, sensing Azrael's dislike of the situation. She paused. What was she forgetting? Aetis glared at her. "...oh yeah. And Eldrin. Let's save him," she said with a notch less of enthusiasm.

Azrael nodded and closed his eyes and scanned for any spirits. "You called, Desert Monk?" a voice said from behind Azrael. The monk turned around and was face-to-face with a Garo ninja. "Yes, wise spirit. We require your help, we have need to enter the fortress without alerting the Gerudo of our presence." Azrael said, bowing his head in respect.
The Garo nodded and pointed with one of his blades to the east. "There are no guards posted at the east entrance. Enter the first building to your left and continue forward until you reach a closed door. That is where the guards take their breaks, you can get into the holding cells from there."
Before Azrael could ask how the Garo knew that they were here to rescue a few people, he replied "We spirits know of the thief and the exiled one's mentor being held captive. Becareful, monk. They will be expecting you...call out for me when you reach the break room."The Garo vanished after he had said this.
Azrael looked at Iona and said "We enter from the east entrance."

Iona's face became stony and serious."Right, let's do this."she said and spun on her heel, making off towards the west entrance determinedly. Aetis looked equally intensely focused.

"That's the west entrance, Iona.." Azrael said to her, pointing in the actual direction of east.

Eldrin and Namira didn't speak for a while. Eldrin kept grabbing his tongue and playing with it, and Namira started pacing again. Watching the warden pace, the thief could tell she was trying hard to suppress her intense sadism. He silently thanked Nadeana for forbidding them from torturing him... He liked his tongue.
Suddenly the silence was broken by the clatter of a sword fight. Eldrin stood up and leaned against the bars and Namira walked over to the door, drawing her scimitar. The door burst open and Ranim ran in looking wide eyed and scared. She pointed vigorously out the door at the hallway. Namira sighed, shoving her aside and ran out the door to investigate. Immediately Ranim slammed and locked the door.
Eldrin smiled as Namira slammed against the door, yelling about her being a traitor. "I knew you loved me!" He said, laughing.
Ranim rolled her eyes and smiled at the idiotic thief. She ran over to Namira's desk and started pulling out drawers, searching for something.
"Lookin' for this?" Eldrin asked, holding out the key to his cell.

Azrael stopped as he neared the breakroom, he grabbed Iona and pulled her behind the crate as a couple of Gerudo bursted through and fought eachother. Azrael peeked over the crate and saw the Gerudo that took Eldrin was fighting, she ran through the door just as another went to see what was happening and yelled about her being a traitor.
The Desert Monk grabbed Iona and dragged her into the nearest door and went inside.

As soon as they burst inside the room, yellow eyes met their gazes. Everybody froze as they waited for one of them to make a move. Azrael gave Iona a stern glance, telling her to stay put. She sauntered to the front of their vision, her chain hooked to her blade, and promptly flicked them off.
