Suddenly the Gerudo fell before them, sword wounds in their stomachs and Azrael glanced over and saw the Garo standing there. He nodded to the monk and vanished. "Come on..we can get in through here." Azrael said, pointing to the door at the other end of the room.

Iona giggled, having wanting to do that for years. She skipped past their bodies gracefully, recognizing several who had at one point made her life hell. Aetis eyed a corpse, but was snatched away. Iona happily followed Azrael. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad.

Eldrin opened the door suddenly, causing Namira to fall into the room. Ranim jumped on her back immediately and viciously slammed the warden's head into the stone floor over and over again. Tears streamed from her fiery eyes and her red hair was wild. Eldrin stepped in bafore she could kill Namira, pulling the fighting Gerudo off of her nemesis. "RANIM!!! There's no point in killing her! Stop!" Namira finally gave up and fell limp in his arms. When he was sure she wouldn't try to kill the warden he released her. When Ranim was ready they left the jail, leaving Namira laying in a puddle of her own blood. Her face was barely recognizable as the gorgeuos woman Eldrin had attempted to seduce.
Eldrin had been to this fortress countless times but didn't recognize the hallway they were running down. "Um... You know the exit's that way right?"

Azrael heard the sound of someone being brutally beaten. He started to quicken his pace and the sounds got louder and he heard Eldrin tell whoever it was to stop and then footsteps. The desert monk stopped before a beaten and bloody corpse of a Gerudo warden, Azrael could tell by the colors she wore.
He saw footprints of blood heading into a hallway. "And that's where we go."

"And that's where you're wrong..." A golden bejewled slipper splashed in the puddle of blood followed by 8 other purple slippers. It was Nadeana and a group of gerudo sidekicks. Nadeana was different. Her fiery red hair now had strands of gold and the irises of her eyes were like golden bands. Her spirit skipping was taking it's toll on her apearance but she was pleased with the outcome. She practicly sparkled every time she moved, her hair and eyes catching every flicker of light and radiating. "You aren't going anywhere." She turned to her left and motioned for two of the girls to follow Eldrin and Ranim. The rest would assist her.
"Iona, you sure have a lot of balls for returning here. Of course, if you're going to have different hair from the rest of us, you might as well have different genitalia." She laughed and drew her scimitars readying herself for battle. The gerudos behind her copied.

"Do the laws of the desert mean anything to you, Nadeana?" Azrael spoke aloud and turned around to face the group of Gerudo. His hand was at the ready to draw his blade to fight. "You either really want her dead or you're all just plain stupid...she is under the protection of the Desert Monk law."

Iona's face fell as soon as she heard Nadeana. The air was heavy with electricity. She glared at the Gerudo. She had fifty million reasons to hate her, one of them being that she gilttered more than she did without the help of jewels. Aetis hissed at her, crinkling his face and found her not to his liking instantly. Iona hated her more because she didn't have any witty comebacks.
"I didn't willingly come to this rotting cesspool. I mean, you harpys are all so beautiful and loving, but it wasn't on my own accord. Give me my mentor and the thief, and I'll be out of your hair, so called 'Desert Princess'"Iona said, not knowing Nadeana enough to make proper comebacks but came to dislike this snobby Gerudo. She pulled out her blade and hooked the chain to it. "It is my understanding that you idiot bastards want me back. You're all the same. Weak." she said, deliberately taunting them. Hopefully Eldrin would be smart enough to get away. And the others would leave her, since it really wasn't their fight after it all.

"I'm aware of the laws, Desert Monk. It was my mother who helped establish them. I don't know who sent for Iona. It wasn't my orders, but I assure you, whoever was involved with bringing her sorry ass here will regret that. As for being weak..." Nadeana grabbed one of her Gerudo's by the back of the neck and pressed on her pressure points. The woman cringed and dropped her scimitar. "You're right about that." Nadeana then thrust the girl against the stone wall beside her. "Who's responsible for this?!" If I had known Eldrin was bait, I'd have gotten rid of him...
Kadina had just snuck her way in through another wing of the hideout. She had her own ways of doing things which included going in through the kitchen for obvious reasons. As she finished of a roll of bread, she heard a familiar voice shouting down the hallway. "Nadeana!" Nadeana turned to see Kadina standing there with both cheeks bulging from bread being packed into her mouth. Her arms were outstretched and Nadeana knew what was coming. "Not now, Kadina. I don't have time for your shit!" "Geez, Nadeana. You still have Ganon's foot stuck up your ass?" Her voice muffled by the bread before gulping it down. "That's no way to greet an old friend." "More like a godamn nuisance." Kadina chuckled and leaned against the wall. "Sounds like you have some sort of mutiny on your hands." "Yeah, well there's about to be a lot of blood on my hands too if you and your pack don't get the hell out of my fortress." "Haha, Nadeana. When will you accept that you're a part of that pack? Quit being so two-faced and choose a side already. Damn." A split second passed and Nadeana's scimitar was now stabbed into the wall next to Kadina's face, Nadeana's glaring eyes just inches from Kadina's. Her knuckles were glowing white from the grasp on her hilt. "I know my place." Kadina was mesmerized by the gold in her eyes. If she could have stolen them, she would have. She pulled her weapon from the wall and turned to Azrael. “I can give you Eldrin, but her mentor stays here and she goes. I’m giving both of you a chance to live. Take it or leave it. I’m having a hell of a day and wouldn’t take a bit of meditation to have these sands stirring by my wrath.” Just then, a sand twister wisped in through the nearest entrance and died out flinging sand at their feet. A warning. A threat.

Azrael looked around the room as Nadeana was conversating with Kadina. He was trying to figure out if the room was big enough for a battle...an entire group of Gerudo warriors against a monk, a thief and a pirate. "Have you forgotten about me, monk?" The Garo said, reappering next to Azrael. His eyes were glaring at Nadeana and her band.
"I did not, ninja. I assumed you left to another part and leave us to fend off these ladies alone." Azrael's hand was within reach of his sword, waiting to release it's fury upon Nadeana and her group. Azrael looked over to Iona and Aetis and nodded, he then looked over to Kadina and nodded. He turned his head towards the Garo and nodded. "I'm afraid we're leaving here with both Eldrin and her mentor. I will personally make sure your souls reach the afterlife within the next five minutes." Azrael said, pulling out his blade and sending a wave of kunai at the group.

Eldrin waited in a shadowy corner along a narrow hallway deep inside the fortress, waiting for Ranim. She took forever, but eventually she emerged from a small room, wearing a traveling cloak and carrying a pack. "Oh, are you leaving with me and my friends?"
Ranim shook her head and gestured for him to follow. They ran down a long series of hallways and staircases until finally they arrived at a small back door to the fortress. They stepped out into the sand and Ranim started fiddling with something on her arm. "Was I just your escort to the door?" He asked, laughing slightly.
Ranim nodded, detaching the leather bracer from her arm. It was long and thin for a bracer, with the word Avarice written across the top. He took the bracer from her and attached it to his own arm. It was connected at the bottom by six leather straps. The bracer ran from just below his elbow to his wrist and connected seamlessly to a fingerless glove. Protruding from the top of the glove was three claw-like blades, two on either side of his hand over his knuckles, and a third in the center, further behind the other two. He held his arm out, looking at his new "claws" and smiled. "Nice... I suppose you don't plan to need it anymore?"
Ranim nodded and stepped back, she pointed back toward the prison, a serious expression on her face. Eldrin knew she meant that his friends were trying to rescue him... Or at least Azrael and Kadina. He smiled, "See ya around, Ranim." He said running through the sand back toward the Gerudo Prison. Ranim waved once and then disappeared into a cloud of sand.
Eldrin crawled through the window just as Azrael attacked, and slipped through the fray, dodging blades and bodies alike. He made his way to Kadina and tapped her on the shoulder. "Um... Why's Azrael trying to kill Nadeana?"
(Not the best description of Avarice (the claw). I might ask Jalex to draw it soon... I'm also thinking about making it his permanent weapon.)

(that's awesome! I was thinking about Kadina switching to elbow blades like Talim from Soul Caliber but im not sure yet.)
"Either because she plans to disregaurd some law or because she wont give us Eldrin and Bolt's mentor." Bolt was the nickname Kadina had given Iona since she hadn't properly learned her name. Kadina then realized it was Eldrin who had asked the question. She turned to give him a big bear hug but was nervous about his claw. "What's that?" Kadina was about to point to Averice but a gerudo swung her spear between them and pushed Kadina back while another gerudo attempted to capture Eldrin from behind.
Nadeana grunted as she blocked Azrael's attacks. "You're out of line, monk."

(That sounds great! I got the idea of a claw from Rikku from Final Fantasy X. I think the elbow blades are called tonfas btw, not sure though and I'm too lazy to look it up ) Eldrin flipped the Gerudo over his back and kicked her in the head, at least dazing her, if not knocking her out. He caught the Gerudo's spear as the swiped it at them again. He yanked it from her grasp and hit her in the stomach with the handle. The Gerudo doubled over and Eldrin whacked her over the head with the spear handle. He dropped the spear a good distance away from its owner as she fell. "A cool new weapon I got from a tongueless Gerudo! I guess it's called Avarice... Says it on the arm thingy anyway." He said, locking the claw in the hilt of an attacking Gerudo's scimitar. He held her weapon in place with his claw and delivered an uppercut to her jaw with his right fist.

A Gerudo leapt at Iona with a cat-like yowl and Iona sidestepped her, letting Aetis jump off her shoulders and sink his fangs into her throat. The woman screams ceased. In the midst of the chaos and the din of clashing weapons and yellings, Iona caught sight of Eldrin's new claws. He must've gotten them from the coffers, for the last Gerudo to wear those was no other than Naburu's mother. Another Gerudo, another warden it seemed, for a large ring of keys hung off her hip, came to attack her and Iona blinked, electrocuting her without a thought. Her thoughts were centered on her own motives. They had their Eldrin, now she needed her mentor and her treasure. Snatching up the keys, Iona slipped out the exit, leaving Aetis and the others to their own devices as she went to attend to hers.

"And you're a hypocrite, Nadeana." Azrael replied, his blade had met Nadeana's with a shower of sparks. He had never battled her before, but word of her swordsmanship was told to him.
The Garo made himself visible and the other Gerudo gasped as the ninja leapt at them. His cloak long, but kept his features hidden as he danced among the thiefs. A beautiful fighting dance was it seemd to be as he blocked and attacked the Gerudo.
Azrael noticed that Iona had slipped away. That was good, they would fend off Nadeana and her croonies as she rescued her mentor and treasure. He let out a war cry and made another attack at Nadeana, swinging his blade at her middle. Knowing she would block it.

Iona ran through the fortress without thought. Guards weren't a problem; she had created a protective force field around her. Anybody would tried to come near her or shoot her with arrows were promptly fried. One would think the easily confused Gerudo would lose herself in the fortress, but it wasn't so. She twisted through many hallways and rooms until she was at the heart of the fortress.
She stopped at a room that looked as plain and similiar as the others. But this she knew to be the very center of the fortress. She fell to her knees and pawed at the ground, prying at the stones. She did this for a few moments until one stone came loose and Iona shoved it out of the way. Brushing off a layer of dirt revealed a trapdoor. She pulled the rope up and the door came open, a dank, musty smell rising from the darkness of what lay underground. Without hesitation, she leapt through, a second later, her hand popping out only to grab door and slam it closed.
