Nadeana blocked Azrael's attack with exceptional anger this time around. "Hypocrite?!" She took an enraged swing at his face only to have it blocked once more (a little godmod. Hope it's ok. if not, let me know) "I haven't touched the girl whilst under your protection! Hell, I've been in the fucking twilight zone for months now!" She jumped to the side dodging his attack, swung her scimitar up from under Azrael's blade (knocking it upward), then swiped her foot beneath him thus knocking him off his feet. "Clearly, I wasn't responsible for the attack in the woods."
"Nadeana! Iona's gone." One gerudo informed. "Well go after her!"
Kadina blocked one gerudo's attack then sent her flying with a harsh kick to the stomach. "That thing is kick ass!" She went over to Eldrin, bent down for a closer look at Avarice, and admired it's craftmanship. A gerudo then pounced on her back and tried strangling her. Kadina rammed her into the wall behind them then threw her over her shoulder. "Well... this has been a rather productive visit. I got free food, saw an old friend, and you got a fancy new claw thingy." She smiled proudly and dusted of her hands. Nadeana looked away from her battle at the mention of a "claw thingy" "Avarice..." She was outraged.

Azrael landed on his back with a loud THUMP! His blade was stuck in the cieling, he had no time to grab it. He pulled out a kunai and leapt to his feet. "Your anger will be your downfall, girl." The Desert Monk said as he kicked her in the chest. He knew calling her a hypocrite would spark that emotion within her, she didn't care much for her soul as it stunk like two week old sun-baked fish. Very easy for the monk to read. (A little godmod here...I rarely do this and I feel sorta bad... v.v) Azrael threw his kunai and hit Nadeana's sword hand, embedding itself right dead center in her hand.

Aetis pressed himself against the wall, his coiled tightly so that he wouldn't be trampled by people's feet. There were too many people in this one room! Even hitching a ride on somebody seemed too dangerous. He sulked, his head resting on his body as he cursed Iona for not taking him with her.
Meanwhile, Iona stuffed handfuls of gold jewelry into her bag. The Gerudo loved their jewelry, and therefore would have lots of it for her to take. The lock to the safe of their coffers was still smoking several feet away. The difference between treasure hunters and thieves was that thieves tipped toed around to get there loot and treasure hunters blast there way through and take their stuff and run. Her bag full of gold, she came upon a separate room, which she had been saving for last. The room had chests of jewels, she knew. But there was a single, small black chest in the center of the room, somehig that hadn't been there four years ago. Iona scuttled excitedly to it.
She blasted the metal clasp and it gave way and she shoved it open. At first, she thought nothing was here against the black velvet. Then she smelled it before she saw it. Tarnished silver and the stench of old gold. Looking closely, she saw that something darkly shone. With eager hands she felt around until, with a happy squeak, she lifted out a large gem. The onyx was so black, it seemed to be a piece of cold, solid darkness in her hands, encased in old silver and gold in the shape of an egg. Even though dark magic poured off the gem and alerted her senses, she promptly pocketed it in the top of her uniform, tucked away just below her heart. There was a distant bang and clatter and Iona paled. They were on to her!
She gathered her bag about her and moved a tall coffin-like chest aside and shoved a tapestry out o the way. A small door was revealed. As the banging got louder, she forced open the door, and a long, pitch black stone hallway yawned at her. She hesitated, torn between facing her angry cousins or her phobia. She swallowed, immersed herself electricity and stepped into the blackness, shutting the stone door behind her just as she distantly heard shouting. With a final thud, the shouting ceased, and Iona followed the hallway to where it ended at the dungeons.

Eldrin slammed a Gerudo's head into a wall and let her drop. "Yep, which makes this a great time for us to blow this sand pit... Figuratively of course..." He relpied, adding the last part as an afterthought. He dodged two swipes from a scimitar then kicked it out of its owner's hand. The scimitar flipped several times through the air before stabbing into a nearby wall. He followed up with a roundhouse kick to the Gerudo's face. "Especially since Nadeana is giving me the evil eye right now... Or is that her normal expression?" He asked, catching a Gerudo by the scarlet hair and swinging her into her sisters.

"My anger fuels me." She threw a deku nut to temporarily stun Azrael so she could pursue Avarice. "Uh oh. Let's go." Kadina grabbed Eldrin's wrist and pulled him around the corner leading him through the kitchen towards the exit in which she entered. Nadeana was gaining on them. Once in the kitchen, she began hurling baskets, pots, pans, and knives as she chased them through the area. One lucky throw pinned Kadina's vest to the wall. "Holy mother of---" She then ducked as Nadeana slung a pot top through the air like a frisby that would have hit Kadina square in the face. "You crazy bitch!" Kadina yanked the knife out of the wall, hurled it at Nadeana, then took off up a flight of stairs and onto an outer balcony.

Azrael instinctivly threw his left arm to shield his eyes from the flash of the deku nut. He regained his sight after a few seconds and chased the noise that Nadeana was making from throwing things at Kadina.

Aetis followed them into the kitchen, hissing at the clumsy feet that almost crushed him. Struggling to get through the kitchen to more space, he edged slowly against the wall, inching along more like a snail than a snake. He was at the corner of the room closest to the door, when a pan flew through the air and crashed into his head violently. Stunned and dazed, he slid along blindly, eyes shut, and slipped into a large crack in the wall. Getting his bearings, he turned his body to access his surroundings and found many rat sized holes that led into the darkness. Maybe finding Iona wouldn't be so difficult after all. A fat rat scuttled from a hole caught sight of Aetis and squeaked in terror and took off, Aetis's fangs at its heels.

Eldrin followed Kadina up the stairs, nursing a sore spot on his head from a flying ladle. When he reached the balcony he looked down to see how far they were up. Three stories... Angry Nadeana? Or three story drop? He looked between the two several times, unsure of which was worse, before finally coming to a conclusion. Eldrin grabbed Kadina's arm and dragged her along with him as he hopped over the side of the balcony.

Azrael followed behind Nadeana as she chased after Eldrin and Kadina. He pulled out a set of kunai in each hand and after Eldrin leapt off the balcony with Kadina, threw them at Nadeana.
Azrael positioned himself in a battle ready stance...neither of them had weapons. It had been a while since he had to use hand-to-hand combat, but his adrenaline made every move his father taught him come rushing back into his mind.

An older woman sat cross legged, her crimson hair streaked with white. Rusty shackles hung at her wrists and ankles with a thick chain leading to its origins to the wall. It was dark save for one flickering torch. An occasional rat squeaked and scampered by. There sounded an omnious and distant boom and the woman opened one golden eye. She wasn't an ugly woman, but faded remnants of the beauty of her features made the grin that crossed her lips seemed pure and youthful, not malicious. She uncrossed her legs and leaned back against the wall, chuckling to herself. "Oh, Iona. You never learn, do you? Idiot girl."
Iona threw herself at the door with a growl, but still it didn't budge. Panting, she stepped back and tried again, yelling out in frustration. For ten minutes she struggled with this door and the metal sticking out from it. If only she was gifted, like, able to do explode stuff! She thought long and hard. Then it came to her, her face brightening in enlightenment.
The woman still grinned, but she had resumed her meditation and was tranquil and still. There was a blinding light accompanied by a deafening crash and only when the light faded did she jar an eye. She heard hoarse coughing amidst the dust and smoke. "Whew! That was crazy! It rather tickled my brain..." The woman opened both her eyes as a stocky feminine form fell from the wall and clumsily land on her bottom. Then the figure disappeared.
Her shoulders were seized and she was being shaken so hard her teeth rattled. "Seiji! Look, I found you! Hi Seiji! Did you miss me?" cried Iona, her face completely blackened by soot. Seiji slapped her off, in doing so, an elaborate tattoo of the sun caught the torchlight in the space between her first finger and thumb. "You can sap up later, twitling. Break me free. We have work to do," she said and held out her shackles. Moments later, the dungeons were dark and silent once more with the absence of occupants.

Kadina couldn't scream through the shock of jumping three stories. She wanted to cover her eyes but knew that would only get her killed.
Nadina couldn't figure Azrael out. He seemed more agressive than the monks she had known. Had she ever known him before? From when she was younger, perhaps? She narrowed her eyes and set her focus on the challenge at hand, not wandering through distant memories of her childhood with the monks. Her tiny feet took off sprinting at Azrael with all of her energy. She knew he was stronger than her, but she was swift and small...

He gathered some of his energy and leapt at Nadeana. He wondered how one so young could command so many, he could sense that he may have met her at one point during his life. But, it was coming up blank. In any case...now was not the time to think about this, he had to fight her and give Iona time to rescue her mentor.
He had long since lost connection with the Garo...but he couldn't really feel it's energy in the first place. The Garo had an unusual talent for supressing their energy from those who could sense spirit energy.

Eldrin and Kadina hit the soft sand hard and rolled to lessen injury. They tumbled down a hill in a flurry of sand for a moment before finally coming to a halt at the bottom of the hill, blanketed in sand. Eldrin spit out a fountain of sand and sat up, "Well! That was... Fun!" He exclaimed, smiling over at Kadina. He slowly got to his feet, apparently the fall hadn't been good on his leg wound.

As they ran, Seiji showed no signs of her age as she ran ahead of Iona. Iona studied her mentor as she ran, noting her faded and tattered clothing, her skin stretched tight across her bones. Usually, it was Seiji who looked after her, but Iona found herself angry for her mentor's mistreatment. They came upon the doors leading out of the dungeons and stopped. Seiji gestures impatiently to the door. "What are you waiting for? Blast these damn things open!"she ordered, anxious to finally get out of this dark place. Iona did just that, and the doors were bolted into nothing. Blinded by the sunlight flooding in, they failed to see the many Gerudo standing before them. In an instant, their hands were bound before they had a chance to think.
As Iona's eyes adjusted, a familiar sight stood haughtily before her, oozing contempt. "You honestly thought you can get by me, Iona? Your idiocy proves to me who truly is better than you. Me. I am," she said gleefully, clearly enjoying the moment. "Just get on with it, Dashti. Nadeana's waiting," said a rather ugly Gerudo. Dashti narrowed her eyes at her. "Nobody asked you, Basira. Besides, you can't tell me what to do; I'm your superior now," Dashti said with disdain but raised her blade up near Iona's face. She turned her scimitar to the pommel and slammed it into Iona's temple. The black haired Gerudo slumped over, unconscious.
Turning to Seiji, Dashti nodded to her captor. "We will take them to Nadeana. Take her too," she said, not even acknowledging her formal mentor. Knelt on the ground, the older woman spat at her, and the spittle landed exactly on Dashti's cheek. In a single movement, Dashti backhanded Seiji and grabbed her by her hair, crouching down and slamming her head on her knee. Laughing as her mentor slid off her knee dazed, she kicked her and sauntered back into the fortress.

(had some problems with internet access for a few days there but im good now. Let's get this show on the road. Sorry for the absence)
Kadina shook like a dog to rid herself of the sand then she too got to her feet. "I don't really care to get caught up in the troubles of those people back there... But I'm kind of curious to know where this is all leading. Where did Iona go?" she asked as she brushed sand from her arm. Suddenly, a crackle of thunder rolled in the distance. Kadina looked up and noticed an enormous thunder head moving in. "BUT, you know what they say. Curiosity killed the cat... Or something like that..." she pondered a moment trying to remember then shrugged. "Come on." Her heels began kicking up sand as she dashed for the horse stables at the back of the hideout.
Nadeana had just windmill kicked Azrael when she heard the thunder. "Shit..." She knew if she waited too late, she wouldnt be able to use her sand manipulating techniques. Eldrin was getting away with Avarice, Iona was gone and no doubt successful at rescueing her mentor, and Azrael was really beginning to piss her off. "Enough!!" her shout was as loud as the thunder. Everything seemed suddenly still and quiet as Nadeana then closed her eyes and exhaled heavily through her nostrils. She meditated and turned her fury into energy. Grains of sand began to shake. First the upper layer, then the energy seemed to shift lower and lower. Anyone standing in the sand, any object, began to sink betwren the shifting sand. Sunddenly, another rolling thunder, but it wasn't thunder. It was the roar of an oncoming sand storm.
